Is it bad?

I've realized today that it's been a while since I didn't practice a real sport without counting physical education... If PE didn't exist, I won't have done any serious sport for over a year!!

And the worst thing is that I'm not the only one. In my class for example, there are only 2 out of 13 students who really practice a sport outside of school (both of them play field hockey). But of course, that doesn't mean we don't play sports for fun, just that we don't take extra sports courses

Is it bad to not practice a sport?
UPR
No, its pretty normal not to
Fat Fish Pete
yep especially on STEM students/or courses cuz they usually don't have much space for that in their schedules, unless it's their hobby and they have easy access to an area to do sports in

It's alright, just make sure to get some exercise outside of PE though.

That's the issue, I almost never exercise outside of PE... and that's because I don't know why I should do that since I'm fit all the time

idk that's just common, I wouldn't worry too muh about it as long as you're currently kinda fit

It's an eSport, not a sport

Human physical and mental wellbeing are one unity. You can be the better version of yourself by doing anything physical. Make it your lifestyle, and your body and the future you, will thank yourself.

kinda weird for 20 yo to say, but there you go

I guess I could consider myself healthy and trained to some extent, and tbh there isn't really a downside of being like that

So invest in it while you can

If not sports, the gym

If not gym, some home workouts you can find practically everywhere (although they're not as effective)

Strenghtening your shoulder muscles also help. Also you should strenghten the back muscles and glutes in order to mantain a better posture.
