how many emotions does it trigger on me, even if it's not replayable, even if the story is not objectively good, if you play it once, maybe it's 3 hour long, but in those 3 hours you feel a lot of emotions, that is what matters

A good explanation

Let me add this: a perfect game which would be perfect to everybody is probably impossible because humans aren't scripted(I hope so) and different from one another in preferences and etc.

More probable would be a perfect game for a certain person/type of person

So yeah, for me a concept of a perfect game for everybody isn't possible

But hey, that's just a theory
A GAME THEORY

I disagree, you're focusing too much on the objective and technical level of a game, however, what ends at the end of the day are the more subjective things that may affect someones experience, that's why I said that the perfect game is one that just taps into yourself as a person and triggers a lot of positive emotions

no need for graphics, no need for sound, no need for a good plot, no need for customization or replayibility, just, a game that can trigger something in you

I wrote about a perfect game as a game that is for everyone who generally enjoy playing games.
And I wrote the graphics and sound as something that helps someone immerse to the game. If visual and sound executed perfectly it will create something beautiful. I didn't say it need AAA type of visual and sound. I was talking about the visual and sound that fit together with the concept. You can see the example of visual being a helping tool for story-telling in games like DDLC and Omori.

not necessarily, it's not just about doing stuff right, technically, minesweeper (after the 50/50 prevention got added) is a perfect game, however, that's definitively what we're talking about, because minesweeper is not ambitious at all, you can do something really easy and nail it, there are no problems with minesweeper

however, you can keep doing thing more ambitious, problem is, if you do everything purely objective, you will end up with a very bland product, you must put passion into it, have artistic value, and that's not objective

and if we go like, that bland game can be considered perfect, then, this definition of perfect has not value at all, because minesweeper would too be considered perfect
Rezq Gokou
I'm a bit confused. I said a perfect game is a game that story, visual, sound, and other element of the game compliment each other. Minesweeper didn't categorize as a perfect game because it only made with gameplay and visual. Everything I said already contain artistic element like story, visual, and sound (the elements that build movie). I don't see how the concept I wrote being a concept of bland game

my point is, that list of "Story, visual, sound, etc" is subjective on itself, an objectevily perfect game cannot exist if the thing you're using to measure it is subjective

It's actually fairly simple: Make everyone think that every game is perfect.

You could make the worst game imaginable but everyone would still find it perfect.

a lot of games that people consider to be perfect, are more often than not very hit or miss games, so that logic doesn't really apply, since no one would really agree
