What i would like to suggest is to make autopilot movements more natural.

What i could say that seem to be a problem about this mod is, the fact that the cursor instead of moving like a human would it jumps from a place to another
and especially in big jumps the cursor suddenly disappears from one side and appears on the the other side, which is annoying and impossible to follow.
Also at the points where the cursor moves, it does it waaaaaaaaaaaaays too fast

Well, these 2 thing i believe could be improved to make it feel more natural:
1. Cursor moving to the next note instead of jumping
2. Cursor move at the needed speed not extremely fast

Why?

I would never find it with this title... Thank you very much (I was looking for it too).

I vaguely recall seeing it. Wasn't easy finding it though.

Really wish that the requests can be custom tagged for searching =.=

pros play like Auto except dropoff sliders of any kind

well, search function is kinda broken and nothing came up on my results..

about the why. auto pilot is a good way of practicing tapping or just having fun and relaxing..
making it more realistic would be just great .

imo since people play osu the auto pilot movements should be the same as one

EDIT:
Small note.

I am talking about "AUTOPILOT" mod here and not "AUTO" the other topic seem to be about "auto" which is a full automated play of a map.
Marcin
Both use same movement I think.

still, my topic was marked as duplicated for being the same as the other topic.
its not the same T^T.

The auto mod is just to watch the automated replay so having a stupid movement or whatever abnormal is not a problem since the result will be 100% at the end and players are not involved.

The problem about autopilot is a player is playing along with the autopilot so the movements should be more human so the player can play and follow it.
if the movements its weird then how can you tap? I don't believe anyone can play with random cursor movements.

So if there isn't any other similar topic i would kindly ask to remove the duplicate"tag" and consider fixing this issue if possible.

It's the same thing really. From what i can tell, Auto and Auto Pilot use the same movements. To change how one of them moves would change how the other moves as well.
This is a duplicate request

well , as i the other topic got marked as invalid coz of the fact that improving the auto mod would help nothing..

will this topic end up now like the other one ? coz its about something different. Since auto and autopilot use same movement that means if one mod would not benefit from a fix then the fix will never happen ? its like gagging it with it.
dont think this is fair.

i would please ask for this topic not to be ignored and please don't say its the same thing. we have 2 different requests here.
the other request got rejected for reasons. you cant reject this one too for the same reason, its a different mod.
Marcin
Well, okay, but iirc there was one thread about auto pilot too, can't seem to find it.

i still say this is a duplicate from the link that Oinari-sama linked

I think the Autopilot feels extremly weird and also looks bad in comparison to Auto. The Jumps Auto is doing are way smoother, unlike Autopilot. And it's not that enjoyable to play - I often try to play but getting annoying because the jump transition is bad.

I think (without evidence) that Autopilot feels weird because it has to get to the next circle early and leave late unless a hit is registered, ie it has stay at the circle during that window created by the OD. The cursor in Auto on the other hand only needs to be on top of the circle at offset=0 regardless of OD.

The problem is that Auto is just something you just watch. so you have no idea how it "feels" playing the way it does, however Autopilot requires you to tap and you can "feel" that the movements are weird and awkward :/

Hi.

I would like to add a video that compares auto and autopilot side by side as a "proof" that auto is way better.
Please check it out

please make your video available for this forum (play this in osu!website and it says that you have to watch this on youtube website)

oops.. ok done :3

Honestly I think Autopilot should just look like Autoplay.
"But tudd, what if you hit the note early and the cursor's not on it?"
Autopilot shouldn't care about the cursor position at all, as if any click counts as a hit.
