If someone is ready to drop school for a game they don't deserve anything school could give them tbh

If you reached high school it should be obvious to you that dropping it for a game isn't worth it.

Unless you go full (hopefully) successful streamer or can make a living out of playing games, then yeah you should definitely don't drop out of academics.

even then, streaming has become so mainstream and way too oversaturated that you need to have a gimmick or something different than the other thousands of people streaming. Take from my experience, its not going to be a fast or easy thing coming.

I agree. Most viewers aren't gonna stay for your content if you do the same thing that everyone else does. You have to be unique and stand out so that you can appeal to a specific audience that you can gain your income from. Even that's hard since most of the ideas are already and used even so, you need to be consistent in your shtick while also following your platform's rules and guideliness to maintain your standing and get sponsors and brand deals from companies.

Even if you have a content creation career, you shouldnt drop out of highschool, at least with college you can go whenever you want, but missing HS really fucks up any kind of plan B you might have.

Just look at viewers spread on twitch. 99% of streamers have less than 5 viewers while a few have thousands or even tens of thousands.

I saw a stat that says if you average 6 viewers on twitch, that puts you on the top 6.7%.

You need an average of 51 viewers to be on the to 1%.

Yeah, same goes for youtube, most videos have <1000 views and a tiny portion have thousands or millions

It depends, if you're extremely lucky.
But in other words, this is peak stupidity considered this is in General Discussion.
