Get rid of stars on song select and during gameplay

When I"m in song select these stars show up and they also show up while I'm playing a map. Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

You need to remove the files "star2.png" and "star2@2x.png" from your skin and add a blank file called "star.png".

I did that and the stars are still on the song select and while playing a map. Is there anything else I have to add or delete?

Yes but the stars still show up. Could it be that I'm using the old version of the spinner in my skin? Should I upload so you can see for yourself?


EDIT: I figured it out, I had to make a blank version of star2.png, thanks for the help though

Note: If you delete any skin elements, it will be replaced with the default ones.
The best bet to make a blank image is 1x1 pixel.
