Does a HP 20-2100A AMD E1 4GB 500GB Black desktop pc work for Osu! Because I’ve had this computer for 3 years now and I haven’t touched it since 2 years ago so I was wondering if I reboot it and download all the new software updates to the latest will I be able to play osu on it?

I think it can run but idk about performance
Yeah performance might be less than optimal, but it will run as long as you meet the minimum system requirements (like openGL 2.0 or above, for example)
Yeah, but w7 without ssd nowadays is pretty stresseful to use.

My friend had a bit more than mid pc and he uses window 7. Tho he changed now
You may not get the best performance, but you can run it pretty decent I guess.

I doubt anyone with an all-in-one PC would have the desire for linux. All-in-one PC's tend to be for family use and while linux OS is good for all walks of life, explaining how to use cmd and console for pretty much every download to a family member just isn't worth it when Windows is so much more user friendly in the sense of not needing computer know-how.Kolmas wrote:

This comp should be enough to run osu!, this game was made back in 2007 - not much optimization is needed from then to now on a firmware to hardware scenario. Maybe a few tweaks and changes here and there but nothing serious.

Try seeing if it can run GTA 5 without exploding. If it survives then it can definitely run osu.
Well, seeing from specs:
OS: Windows 7, it's old but can still run osu! fine. Not much of an issue.
CPU: E1-2500, 2 cores, 1.4 GHz. This CPU is veeeery weak, performance will be low and often unstable. You wouldn't be able to open other program along with osu! without having frequent freezes or frame drops. Stuff like streaming and screen recording are a no-no.
RAM: 4 GB, well, that's enough for osu! at least.
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8240. Supports osu!, but still, it is a very weak GPU, it will struggle in maps with lots of notes and with non-lightweight skins...
Well, you technically can play osu! but it won't run very well.
I don't have that PC, but is similar to what your PC would do in osu! performance-wise.
A modern desktop with a low-end CPU and integrated graphics would run way better, with the plus that you can upgrade it.

I should’ve put this at the start but when I used to play on it minecraft wouldn’t even load at all anymore and before it wouldn’t load at all I would just play minecraft all day
I mean, you should try it playing osu and seeing if it works, it's a very small download
if it helps, i used to play on a windows 7 laptop that i absolutely obliterate yet i kept playing until its last breath. i managed to push until around high 100k before my dad gave me a windows 10 laptop that i still use today.

it should work idk i had a potato laptop before my new pc and it worked fine till the computer broke it did have lag issues but thats probobly because of some stuff i downloaded in it idk
