Hello! Mod request from my queue

[General]
  1. All clear, I think

[Far Away Chaos]
  1. 00:07:333 (3) Ctrl + H, so it flows better with 00:06:666 (2)
  2. 00:10:333 - 00:10:666 (3,4) To make a neater alignment, perhaps you should move 00:10:333 (3) up (x: 236,y:20) and snap 00:10:666 (4) to fix the distance (x:236,y:108)
  3. 00:22:666 - 00:23:999 (2,3) It's understandable for these notes to end on red ticks, but I don't think it really fits with the music. I think it might be better to just end them on the previous white tick (meaning 00:22:666 (2) ends at 00:23:333, and 00:23:999 (3) ends at 00:24:666)
  4. 00:31:333 (3) Move to x:408, y:292 to make a nicer blanket
  5. 00:34:666 (1) Move this slider down a grid so it aligns with 00:33:666 (4) and to improve the anchor, try something more like this?;
  6. 00:42:666 (1) Nice shape you have here, just saying
  7. 00:46:833 - 00:47:833 - Why not map through this part?

    I'm not sure I agree with the style here, but there's nothing wrong particularly. But be warned, the spinners are pretty short and may not be playable.

  1. 00:15:166 - 00:15:499 (5,1) The rhythm would sound better if you switched these two notes so it would play like so; (Also, I don't think you need the NC at 00:15:333 (1) so add it at 00:15:999 (2) instead)

  1. OD7 to avoid the OD8 glitch with the star rating since it looks like the difficulty is the hardest in the mapset, and it plays smoother imo. OD8 is acceptable, but entirely up to you. I must say that I felt a little uncomfortable playing this. Some patterns felt like an Insane so I will try to fix that for you.
C ~ 00:03:499 (3,1,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This whole pattern is Waay too difficulty for a hard difficulty. Don't stack the first three notes and lower the spacing with a more flowish curve.
C ~ 00:16:333 (3) - This slider is on the wrong tick, it sounds a lot better on the next red tick. Use this rhythm here and do the same on 00:18:666 -
C ~ 00:23:833 (6,1) - This jump is not necessary and plays badly considered the AR
C ~ 00:24:333 (3,4) - Spacing is meh, change it please to correspond with the previous Distance snap
C ~ 00:30:499 (1,2,3) - They should go on the white tick
C ~ 00:43:166 (2,3,4,5,6) - Please don't do jumps on a Hard while stacking on low AR

  1. Honest opinion here: The maps feel super awkward when the music starts to fade out yet we're still playing, and spacing or note density doesn't change at all...Although I guess it can't be helped. My only suggestion would be to delete everything after 01:11:999 - and add a spinner that lasts until 01:14:333 with its volume gradually decreasing like the music. Also, it would be nice to have a spinner in the diffs that don't have one for variance in scores.


    Hitsounds Suggestions
  2. Your hitsounds seem kinda random. Try to place a finish on important beats such as strong downbeats, or where you hear a finish in the music. You are missing tons of finishes at spots where they would go nicely in each diff. The normal finish fits really well with this song also, so you can place a lot of them.

  3. There are lots of spots in the song with very loud claps in the music in interesting patterns, but you don't place the claps on those points in your map. Go through and listen for loud claps in the music and place your claps accordingly. For example, in the Chaos diff, 00:11:833 (5) there is loud clap here, but you placed clap at 00:11:999 (6) when there is no clap in the music.

  4. If you'd like me to go through and give some detailed hitsound suggestions, catch me in game, I'd be happy to. Although I think if you do it yourself you can learn a lot more and the result will be much better.

Chaos
  1. 00:08:833 (8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I realize you're trying to repeat the 00:03:499 (8,9) rhythm here, but it's not working because at this part the downbeat 00:09:333 is really accented because it's starting this stream. So I suggest replace the 9 with a single circle and start the stream on the downbeat. I also suggest this because I think it would be nice to have the stream centered in symmetry on the axis. That would fit better with your mapping style here.


  2. 00:10:333 (9) - NC to be consistent with 01:03:666 (1) perhaps?

  3. 00:25:833 (3) - Move it two grids to the left.

  4. 00:26:666 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Kinda dislike this pattern, it a bit ugly and unfitting imo. I like it more sharp. See if you agree. ;3


  5. 00:30:666 (1,2,3,4) - Can you make it centered in symmetry? It would fit with the 00:27:999 (1,2,3,4) pattern much better.

  6. 00:39:332 (3) - I like it much more as two circles like 00:33:999 (3,4). It follows the music better and is more fun to play.

  7. 00:40:832 (7,1) - This could benefit from larger spacing imo.

  8. 00:46:999 (1) - This feels overmapped to me and is hard to read since it's nothing like the previous patterns because 00:46:166 (4,5,6,7,8,9) is following guitar but the guitar doesn't hit at all on 00:47:083. Try replacing the 1 here with a single circle instead. You can also experiment with replacing the 00:47:166 (2,3) with a triplet and jump.


  9. 00:52:166 (1,2,3,4,5) - Ctrl+G is better flow imo because it continues the flow pattern from 00:51:166 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5).

  10. 00:52:999 (5) - Since this part is so difficult, consider NC here to make the drain more forgiving.

  11. 00:54:166 (1) - Remove NC? It's kinda weird, I figured it might be a mistake.

  12. 01:02:500 (9) - Same point as 00:08:833 (8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8). You could also try to rearrange the stream a bit to have the 01:03:332 (8) in the center of the grid which might be nice./list]

  1. 00:13:999 (3,4,5,6) - Place it perfectly in line with the 00:13:833 (2) would look much better.

  2. 00:14:999 (3) - Feels kind of overmapped. Replace this with a single circle perhaps.

  3. 00:24:999 (11) - The music really changes on the 11 where the guitar comes in, so this stream feels strange. I suggest use smaller spacing for the 00:24:333 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) and then increase spacing on the 11 for the last five circles. If you do, add a NC on the 11. It will fit the music better.

  4. 00:29:499 (2,3) - Try to increase the spacing. The small spacing here plays really strange imo.

  5. 00:36:999 (1,2) - I suggest put the NC on the 2 instead, it makes the strange rhythm easier to understand here, and the music changes there also.

  6. 00:37:249 (2,3) - Very difficult to read 1/4 jump imo. Consider deleting the 3, it plays much better that way imo and follows the guitar sound more closely because it holds at 00:37:333 until 00:37:499.

  7. 00:42:333 (1,2) - Same point as 00:36:999 (1,2).

  8. 01:07:082 (4) - Follows music better if you delete this and start the stream at 01:07:166.

  9. 01:07:832 (1) - Replace with two circles? You have a different pattern here than you do at 00:13:833 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) is that intentional? It seems to follow the music nicer if the 1/4 sliders don't start until 01:07:999 with a NC.

  10. 01:14:333 - The spinner end is kind of loud, maybe make it 5% instead.

  1. 00:05:166 (1,2) - Really dangerous idea having the downbeat on the end of the slider after that jump pattern. See after the 00:04:666 (4,5,6) big spacing increase, the music is pushing the player to anticipate the downbeat as a release for that tension. But they don't click for it, so it's really confusing. You can try to make a more fitting rhythm and pattern here. Try:


  2. 00:02:166 (4,5,6,1) - Such harsh flow so early orz. Try giving it more curve and turning the sliders a bit.


  3. 00:45:166 (4,1) - Seems much nicer if the 1 were at 00:45:333 with a triplet on it.

  4. 00:46:666 (4) - I suggest remove a repeat to keep consistent with similar sliders all throughout the diff, like 00:41:333 (2) for instance.

  5. 00:50:666 (1,2,3,4,1) - Try placing the star so that the 00:52:666 (1) is on the center line and is pointing upwards. Seems much more epic.^^


  6. 00:58:499 (4,1) - Same exact point as 00:05:166 (1,2). It's super confusing to not hit something on that downbeat after jumping. Try this:

    You could make the change without changing the pattern much by stacking the two singles between the sliders.
I can't really get into this diff. I feel like lots of the rhythms ignore the music and don't allow me to click on important beats because they fall on the ends of sliders and things.

  1. 00:05:499 (1) - It would fit the music a ton better if this were at 00:05:333.

  2. 00:08:499 (2,3) - Make the spacing 1.2, it will look nicer.

  3. 00:14:666 (3,5) - Make these the same slider so that the blankets are consistent. Right now their curves are slightly different.

  4. 00:15:499 (6,1) - Try to work on blanketing patterns like this. Make this blanket the same in shape as the 00:16:499 (3,1). It will look and feel really nice in play.


  5. 00:25:833 (3) - Ctrl+G seems to be a more fitting flow idea for the music. Also try to rotate the 00:25:833 (3,4) more to the left so that they fit better in a pattern with the 00:25:499 (1,2).

    As you can see, the tail of the 3 is same distance from the 1 as the 2 is, which makes a nicer looking pattern.

  6. 00:39:833 (5,1) - Noticeable spacing decrease and it looks kinda bad. Try rotating the 5 slightly so that you can maintain the blanket and keep 1.3 spacing.

  7. 00:47:333 - Why the pause here? It makes no sense for the hard diff to ignore the music and have a short break. ._.

  8. 00:50:666 (1,2,3,4,5) - It would be great if you could try a different placement here that didn't have all this overlap. Try to make a pattern that has the 3 and 4 blanketing the 1 and 2, or perhaps overlapping their tails instead of their slider bodies.

  9. 00:54:666 (2) - Move it down and right so that it's spaced properly from the 00:53:832 (2). Rotate it to fix spacing.

  10. 00:56:499 (2,3) - Rotate it -3 degree and fix spacing so that the 3 is centered in the blanket.


  11. 00:57:499 (1,2) - It looks sloppy because the 1 has more of a curve than the 2. Try copying the 2 and pasting it as the 1 and then rotating it to place it the same way. It will look much nicer.


  12. 01:12:499 (3) - It looks a little funky. Try remaking it in the center and using Ctrl+H to make sure it's perfect.
A bit messy placements but it's ok.

Distant Chaos
  1. 00:06:666 (1,2,3) - If you make each slider have the same exact curve, you can make a much better looking pattern.

    Each is rotated by 45 degrees from the last.

  2. 00:52:666 (5,1,2) - Really confusing imo. It's impossible to tell whether or not the 1 is on the downbeat or not, because that's what is expected. Try to make a simple rhythm that is consistent with 00:00:000 (1,2,1). Example:


  3. 01:10:666 (1,2,3,4) - Try to make a pattern with more consistent spacing between the circles.
Nice diff. You spam new combos kinda a lot but it's not a big deal.

  1. This diff name is a little bland to me. How about something more interesting. Maybe "Future Chaos."

  2. 00:02:666 (1,3,1) - I don't like these sliders, they look really sloppy and flow strange. I don't like forcing blankets like this, I think you could map the section differently with better sliders.

  3. 00:15:999 - I really wish there was a circle here with a finish and NC on it... just like at 00:26:666 (1). It plays really nicer if you don't skip over this strong beat. Same at 00:18:666.

  4. 00:16:333 (1,2,3) - Looks not so great imo. You don't have to force the blankets like this, try just making the 2 and 3 straight sliders or make them more similar to 00:27:999 (3,4). If you do so, do the same at 00:18:999 (1,2,3) of course. Copying the placement again is causing this weird placement/flow with the 00:20:665 (3,1). If you could do it differently, that would be great.

  5. 00:51:166 (2) - NC seems nice for this unique rhythm here.

Thank you a lot but you already did a lot in my map. I will take another look at all my hitsounds following your suggestion and see what can i do.

You can try to make a more fitting rhythm and pattern here. Try: Fixed

I can't really get into this diff. I feel like lots of the rhythms ignore the music and don't allow me to click on important beats because they fall on the ends of sliders and things.I don't like this diff either. It was more like a test than anything else but i don't know why i keep it. I think it's because of the difficulty spread. I will look at it and remap it i think.

  1. 00:05:499 (1) - It would fit the music a ton better if this were at 00:05:333. Fixed

  2. 00:08:499 (2,3) - Make the spacing 1.2, it will look nicer. The spacing is already 1.2?

  3. 00:14:666 (3,5) - Make these the same slider so that the blankets are consistent. Right now their curves are slightly different. Fixed

  4. 00:15:499 (6,1) - Try to work on blanketing patterns like this. Make this blanket the same in shape as the 00:16:499 (3,1). It will look and feel really nice in play. I'm not sure i understood what you meant but i think it's fixed.


  5. 00:25:833 (3) - Ctrl+G seems to be a more fitting flow idea for the music. Also try to rotate the 00:25:833 (3,4) more to the left so that they fit better in a pattern with the 00:25:499 (1,2).

    As you can see, the tail of the 3 is same distance from the 1 as the 2 is, which makes a nicer looking pattern. I'm not sure about the CTRL+G thingy but i fixed the rest.

  6. 00:39:833 (5,1) - Noticeable spacing decrease and it looks kinda bad. Try rotating the 5 slightly so that you can maintain the blanket and keep 1.3 spacing. Why is it 1.3 here? Fixed with 1.2.

  7. 00:47:333 - Why the pause here? It makes no sense for the hard diff to ignore the music and have a short break. ._. Fixed

  8. 00:50:666 (1,2,3,4,5) - It would be great if you could try a different placement here that didn't have all this overlap. Try to make a pattern that has the 3 and 4 blanketing the 1 and 2, or perhaps overlapping their tails instead of their slider bodies. I tried something.

  9. 00:54:666 (2) - Move it down and right so that it's spaced properly from the 00:53:832 (2). Rotate it to fix spacing. Tried something.

  10. 00:56:499 (2,3) - Rotate it -3 degree and fix spacing so that the 3 is centered in the blanket. Fixed


  11. 00:57:499 (1,2) - It looks sloppy because the 1 has more of a curve than the 2. Try copying the 2 and pasting it as the 1 and then rotating it to place it the same way. It will look much nicer. Fixed but i just reduced the bending.


  12. 01:12:499 (3) - It looks a little funky. Try remaking it in the center and using Ctrl+H to make sure it's perfect.With a little bit of math it's fixed. ^^
A bit messy placements but it's ok.I don't like the low AR here but i have to if i want a good difficulty spread.

Distant Chaos
  1. 00:06:666 (1,2,3) - If you make each slider have the same exact curve, you can make a much better looking pattern.

    Each is rotated by 45 degrees from the last. Fixed

  2. 00:52:666 (5,1,2) - Really confusing imo. It's impossible to tell whether or not the 1 is on the downbeat or not, because that's what is expected. Try to make a simple rhythm that is consistent with 00:00:000 (1,2,1). Example: Fixed

  3. 01:10:666 (1,2,3,4) - Try to make a pattern with more consistent spacing between the circles. The spacing is x0.98 between every circles so i'm not sure what you mean.....
Nice diff. You spam new combos kinda a lot but it's not a big deal. It's because i started mapping it like a Normal but i changed to Normal+ when i saw that i couldn't do a Normal but for whatever reason i keep NCing like i did.

Far Away Chaos
  1. This diff name is a little bland to me. How about something more interesting. Maybe "Future Chaos." I don't know.... I know the name i gave isn't really good but i son't like "Future Chaos" either so.... For the moment i'll keep it.

  2. 00:02:666 (1,3,1) - I don't like these sliders, they look really sloppy and flow strange. I don't like forcing blankets like this, I think you could map the section differently with better sliders. It's my mapping style. Usually people love them or hate them. But well it's how i map so i'll keep them.

  3. 00:15:999 - I really wish there was a circle here with a finish and NC on it... just like at 00:26:666 (1). It plays really nicer if you don't skip over this strong beat. Same at 00:18:666. Fixed

  4. 00:16:333 (1,2,3) - Looks not so great imo. You don't have to force the blankets like this, try just making the 2 and 3 straight sliders or make them more similar to 00:27:999 (3,4). If you do so, do the same at 00:18:999 (1,2,3) of course. Copying the placement again is causing this weird placement/flow with the 00:20:665 (3,1). If you could do it differently, that would be great. Again. It's more my mapping style. I have no problem whatsoever with this and i kinda like it.

  5. 00:51:166 (2) - NC seems nice for this unique rhythm here. Done in the previous mod.

Also at the moment the mapset is E/N/L/I/L/I (L = Lunatic) So diff spread is also a issue here.

Another thing to look at is hitsounds, they are to soft I can barely hear them over the music, maybe increase the volume a bit for the first 70% of the mapset.

Meh.... You shoud have told me before modding it. I didn't want to force you to mod a song you don't like. Besides a BAT mod is precious and i didn't want to waste yours like this.........

And as you say later in the mod: "its fine if you let sliders end on a red or blue tick thou." Besides it's the rythm that want this. If i end it like you say it feels weird while playing.

The problem here it's that all these sound are "powerful" and must be played imo and a reverse slider seems not interesting for this imo but i think i found a way to solve this problem. I delete 00:47:999 (1) and replace it with a spinner whic allow me to delete the smallest one "nearly rankable" and i play the "powerful" sound with 2 sliders without reverse and replace the small spinner with another slider. I even find a new original pattern that i find pretty cool ^^

Thank you for posting on the QAT thread. We checked the map and we decided to drop your map for now for the following reason:

On the easier difficulties, we witnessed that there are so many overlaps. Also, some of the notes could be unreadable due to bad polarity (Distant Chaos seems to be okay though). Lastly, some of the notes after the spinner are too sudden. In other words, there is not enough reaction time for novice players to recover. Otherwise, the map has potential and could be ready with more modding. Get more mods and it should be on it's way.

As for the hardest difficulties (Cherry Blossom's Chaos and Chaos), We wasn't too sure about as both difficulties were beyond our skill to play test. We were also quite questioned about the difficulty spread. If we were to check these difficulties, it would lead to biased suggestions. For those difficulties, we would recommend a higher skill player to play test the map.

I let two white ticks between the spinner and the notes so i think it should be ok. But the 180 BPM make it really fast.

I made them tested by The_badin and Cherry Blossom which can play them.
Then it should be fine. We was not able to play them so yeah.
Both map are very jumpy and streamy and since i can't stream this fast i made them tested in order to be sure about them. I even tested myself with "Relax" for the flow of the jump.

It's Easy/Normal+/Hard+/Insane/Extra/Extra so, no major gap in the difficulties.

Yeah, the star difficulty is so broken that instead of playing the order 1/2/3/4/5/6 it plays the order 1/2/6/3/5/4 which is confusing. Even for me. But i can't really do anything about it. And about Normal+ and Hard+ it's because i had trouble mapping Normal and Hard because of the rythm of the song. I just mapped what comes the most natural.

01:03:333 (1) - fais le plutot en x2,5 ~ 3,2 ? je trouve le stream slider jump + fun si le spacing est + ou - constant => je l'ai mis en x3, done.

  1. 00:11:666 - Here should be a hitcircle, since from 00:10:666 the strong melody starts keeps going on.
  2. 00:13:333 (1) - weird slider length, exspeacially because of an non so hard difficult
    maybe like this? (bit of a better flow, or just more simple :)
  3. 00:25:333 (4) - Whistle on such a long slider, maybe its just my personal hate on whistle sounds on normal hitsounds, but here i dont see any need or reason to use it
  4. 00:34:666 (1) - why does it have to end on an half note? its not like the slider is based on an ongoing melody, so i would just make it longer until 00:35:666
  5. 01:04:999 - ^ 00:11:666

  • i cant really find anything, where i would say, there is a need to change it, since its a really good timed/structured map in my opinion.
    Still there are a few points a would like to mention, which are all just based on my personal feelings.
  1. im kinda confused by the point that the end when the music gets lower, the patterns are getting most likely faster, so maybe slower slider or just longer breaks beetween the placed objects would be fine. But yeah, im already feelign stupid for writing this, since the map is good who it is.
  2. 00:24:666 maybe still lower the sound a bit, kinda feel like the focous could be more on music then on the spinner.

    I understand what you meant and you have a good point. This end should be easier to play but i prefered doing it by putting sliders instead of notes instead of changing the SV or the spacing. In all diff you'll see that i made the map easier at this place.

Your mod was more helpful than the two preivous i had. Besides, you detailed it a lot and that's a good thing. Compare your mod with the previous two i had and you'll see what i meant. The best modder are those who detail as you did and even if at the start it's not easy keep your mod like this and you'll be good ^^

Du coup ce week-end je vais faire du relooking extreme sur le mapset car j'ai repéré certains trucs qui doivent être remappé sur mes diffs. J'en ai aussi profité pour faire un mod complet de ta diff puisqu'apremment 80% des moddeurs que j'ai eu sont incompétent il faut bien que je fasse les choses moi-même! YEAH!

Donc voilà tes devoirs pour le week-end:
(Je tiens à préciser que j'ai modder avec dans ma tête mon idée de la map, ce qui veux dire que tout ce qui est rythm/NC est fait avec ma vision des choses et est totalement subjectif. Ça ne veut pas dire que tu dois l'ignorer mais au moins le relativiser!)

  1. 00:10:833 (2,3,4) - Alors peut-être que c'est moi qui entend différemment mais le passage 00:10:833 à 00:10:999, ces deux notes me semblent être les mêmes que les deux suivantes: 00:11:166 à 00:11:333. Or, ici tu as un slider 1/2 pour les deux premières mais pour les autres tu as une note+le début d'un slider ce qui fait assez bizarre à jouer. Lorsque j’entends une répétition dans la musique j'aimerais une répétition du rythme dans la map.
  2. 00:16:833 (3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - Ces stack sont troublant. Normalement les jumps doivent se faire lorsque tu as les notes "puissantes" de la musique. Or ici c'est l'inverse. La musique alterne notes faibles/notes puissantes. C'est donc une bonne idée de faire des stacks mais au début de chaque stack tu devrais avoir la note puissante, pas la fiable, car c'est elle qui crée le jump!
  3. 00:19:666 (7,8,1,2,3,4,5) - ^
  4. 00:30:666 (1,2) - La encore le jump n'est pas sur la note puissante.
  5. 00:31:333 (4,5) - ^
  6. 00:35:166 - Pourquoi il n'y a pas de note ici? J'en entend clairement une dans la chanson! D'ailleurs la musique est identique qu'à 00:39:666 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) et tu as mis une note là-bas.

  1. 00:25:916 (3,4,5,6) - Le flow de ce truc est vraiment bof. J'ai vraiment eu du mal a le jouer, je trouve que tu forces a faire au joueur un mouvement désagréable et qui détruit un peu le flow. Essaye aussi de la rapprocher de 00:26:499 (7) car un si gros jump n'est pas nécessaire ici comparé à 00:26:499 (7,1) qui est bien plus justifié.
  2. 00:31:333 (4) - Bouge-le à x=424 y=96 (et 00:31:666 (5) avec lui) cela fera une symétrie avec 00:30:666 (1,2,3,4,5) et ca donne un bon flow pour 00:31:333 (4,5,6).
  3. 01:09:333 (7) - C'est surement l'un des plus gros jumps de ta map!!!! (Si ce n'est le plus gros) et il se trouve à la fin, la ou la musique commence à disparaitre! C'est pas logique! Il est clair qu'il faut un jump ici mais pas de cette taille. Met la note au centre et ça suffira amplement!
  4. Oh! Et maintenant que tu maitrise mieux le grid level 4 ce serait cool si tu pourrais recheck toutes tes blankets et corriger celles qui sont approximatives du au grid level 3!

Essaye aussi de la rapprocher de 00:26:499 (7) car un si gros jump n'est pas nécessaire ici comparé à 00:26:499 (7,1) qui est bien plus justifié. Fixed.
  2. 00:31:333 (4) - Bouge-le à x=424 y=96 (et 00:31:666 (5) avec lui) cela fera une symétrie avec 00:30:666 (1,2,3,4,5) et ca donne un bon flow pour 00:31:333 (4,5,6). Done.
  3. 01:09:333 (7) - C'est surement l'un des plus gros jumps de ta map!!!! (Si ce n'est le plus gros) et il se trouve à la fin, la ou la musique commence à disparaitre! C'est pas logique! Il est clair qu'il faut un jump ici mais pas de cette taille. Met la note au centre et ça suffira amplement! fixed (je l'ai pas mis au centre baka !)

C'est bizarre. En effet auto, semble louper la première note à chaque fois. J'ai fait quelques tests mais je n'ai pas réussi à résoudre le problème. Enfin, bon on peut quand même joué la note si on jour normalement donc ça ne devrait pas être un gros problème. J'en parlerais au BAT lorsque ma map se fera bubbled et on verra si c'est un problème de ma map ou du jeu en lui-même. En tout cas merci de m'avoir signalé ça. ^^

  1. Whooaa, man, your rhythm is pretty changeable, so I'd consider reducing the OD by one tick. It'll make your mapset better-balanced and it will help beginners to understand your rhythm. You know, beginners are unable to feel the rhythm changes, so we should be gentle with them!
  2. 00:10:666 (1) - there's two ways to read this lider, you know, beginners may mistakenly hit its tail. Why? Just because the tail of the slider is so close and your pattern flows this way.
    Take a look at the screenshots, they may help you!


    As you can see on the screenshot, beginners may read your flow in a wrong way. Try to test it and you see that your cursor "flows" to the tail of (1), and it's kinda bad for beginners. Try yourbest to re-arrange pattern here! Remember, that beginners are our future and take care of them! ♥

I know, it's quite hard to discuss flow because opinions are different, but I think that it worths your attention :) - so, yeah, your flow is kinda hard to understand. It goes smooth and soft from (1) to (2), from (2) to (3) but the flow between (4) and (1) is kinda broken, moves of the cursor are "rude" and "unpleasant" to me, so I strongly recommend you to re-arrange this pattern!
  6. 00:23:999 (3,4) - I've already mentioned the same mistakes a couple of times, you're a smart person, so I won't complain about such things again and again, you'll fix it if you want to! :)
  7. 00:27:999 (3) - call me nazi, but I should say it, this stack isn't really enjoyable and it looks out of your regular pattern. What to do? Try to do a blanket! Blankets always work and they look awesome! Here's an example of a blanket slider you can do to make this pattern prettier. It makes your diff more understandable and cute, but it'll take some time to re-arrange your flow. Do you want it? It's up to you!p
  8. 00:42:666 (1) - ouch, this overlap of two sliderticks (00:43:666 - 00:43:999) looks really messy to me and I'm sure that you can find a better shape for the slider. I've played some of your maps and as far as I remember you're pretty awesome, so show us your creativity and mapping skills! ♥
  9. 00:47:333 - well, personally I would consider mapping this beat. Why? Because the sound here is loud and it seems strange that you ignore it. Don't worry, it's totally okay to place a beats BEFORE the spinner, players will have enough time to catch the spinner even if you place a circle on 00:47:333 :P
  10. 01:03:999 (1) - whoops, I've already mentioned what to do with such sliders and I hope you've got my idea. If so, please fix this one, too!
  11. 01:05:332 (2,1,2) - personally, I'm not a fan of such stacks. This is the easiest diff and I expect it to be simple and understandable. As for this pattern, it may be a trouble for beginners, so I'd strongly recommend you to look for another pattern! It's not like I'm forcing you, but still..

    The diff itself isn't perfect and it has some things to improve, but you did a good job!

  1. Oh my god, what an awesome rhythm! I'd like to see a bit more 1/2 beats during the first kiai but maybe it's just me, don't really mind it. However, this awesome rhythm doesn't fit with HP3 at all, try HP4 to make it more balanced and challenging for players!
  2. 00:20:666 (2,1) - as I've already mentioned, sometimes your flow "breaks" and it's hard to "catch" the next object. It happens here and a few more times. Feel free to contact me if you'll have troubles fixing it :)
  3. 00:46:666 (2,1) - kinda unsure about this overlap. Yes, it's readable and visible. Yes, it's pretty easy, but it looks a bit messy and doesn't fit with your regular pattern. It was kinda "unexpected", so I'd try to avoid this overlap! This is just an opinion, tho! :P Or maybe, it'd be better to replace this part with a spinner as it's done on the [Easy], think about it! :3

  1. Awww, CS3 makes it kinda too "huge" and maybe "messy", I'd try to use CS4 here. It'll make all patterns neater + it's more common for [Hard] diffs.
  2. 00:05:166 (7,8,1) - well, to be honest, that's too hard. You have like 2 Insane diff and you use 1/4 triplets even here? No way! That's too hard, at least for THIS diff, please, try to avoid any 1/4 patterns if it's possible. So, players will get well-balanced spread with an enjoyable dff for everyone!
  3. 00:18:332 (5,1) - I have nothing against jumps but those are clearly overused. The DS is too huge and jump simply breaks the flow, it's impossible to play because jumps are OUT of this diff. No one expects them and they're too hard here. Please, I'm begging you, keep the DS under x2.0!
    Note: ouch, 00:28:666 (3,4) - that was eally weird. I didn't expect THIS crazy jumps here, c'mon, this is just a [Hard] diff!
  4. 00:44:499 (2,3) - well, these jumps are okay, but they're unexpected because of music. You know, they don't fit here because music doesn't feel jumpy here.
    Note: same with the 00:14:666 (3,4,5) - jump here. You know, it's playable and readable, but it's out of the songs's rhythm, so during the testplay I felt like this was wrong. :<
  5. 00:57:499 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - previously you didn't use anything like this, so this was kinda too hard. clicking 8 notes in a row on such BPM is pretty hard, but I kinda liked it. So, I'd consider replacing a couple of them with a slider, but feel free to keep it if you want to.

    This was cool, except for the jumps it's a nice diff. Well-mapped, interesting and a little bit messy. I still think that CS4 is the best choice for this diff, sorry. :P

It goes smooth and soft from (1) to (2), from (2) to (3) but the flow between (4) and (1) is kinda broken, moves of the cursor are "rude" and "unpleasant" to me, so I strongly recommend you to re-arrange this pattern! Fixed
  6. 00:23:999 (3,4) - I've already mentioned the same mistakes a couple of times, you're a smart person, so I won't complain about such things again and again, you'll fix it if you want to! :) 2 beat-gap so no changes.
  7. 00:27:999 (3) - call me nazi, but I should say it, this stack isn't really enjoyable and it looks out of your regular pattern. What to do? Try to do a blanket! Blankets always work and they look awesome! Here's an example of a blanket slider you can do to make this pattern prettier. It makes your diff more understandable and cute, but it'll take some time to re-arrange your flow. Do you want it? It's up to you!p My diff is already filled with so much blanket XD Anyway, i don't reallt find any problem with the pattern. And the stack isn't really one because the two notes "stacked" are 4 beat apart. Besides, i don't really think this is "out of my regular pattern". I like to stack a lot even if i'm limited in Easy diff...
  8. 00:42:666 (1) - ouch, this overlap of two sliderticks (00:43:666 - 00:43:999) looks really messy to me and I'm sure that you can find a better shape for the slider. I've played some of your maps and as far as I remember you're pretty awesome, so show us your creativity and mapping skills! ? Ok, i tried another shape. This is "old-rezoons-mapping and yeah, at the time i liked it but with some recul i agree with you. Though, In this case this is more "slider art" than "mapping skill" but i'm glad someone play one of my map.... There aren't a lot XD
  9. 00:47:333 - well, personally I would consider mapping this beat. Why? Because the sound here is loud and it seems strange that you ignore it. Don't worry, it's totally okay to place a beats BEFORE the spinner, players will have enough time to catch the spinner even if you place a circle on 00:47:333 :P Yup, fixed. It was just because i wanted to follow only one instrument at the time (the one followed by the sliders and spinner) and not because i was afraid of the gap between notes and spinner, though.

  11. 01:05:332 (2,1,2) - personally, I'm not a fan of such stacks. This is the easiest diff and I expect it to be simple and understandable. As for this pattern, it may be a trouble for beginners, so I'd strongly recommend you to look for another pattern! It's not like I'm forcing you, but still..
    But i LIKE stacks....... Ok, i changed the pattern.

    The diff itself isn't perfect and it has some things to improve, but you did a good job!

  1. Oh my god, what an awesome rhythm! I'd like to see a bit more 1/2 beats during the first kiai but maybe it's just me, don't really mind it. However, this awesome rhythm doesn't fit with HP3 at all, try HP4 to make it more balanced and challenging for players! I agrre, fixed. I also changed the rythm of the begining of the kiai adding more 1/2 ^^
  2. 00:20:666 (2,1) - as I've already mentioned, sometimes your flow "breaks" and it's hard to "catch" the next object. It happens here and a few more times. Feel free to contact me if you'll have troubles fixing it :) This flow has been fixed by the changing of pattern due to the adding of 1/2. But i don't totally agree about the flow because when it's the end of a slider you can always leave the slider before the end so something like this can be played as a smooth curve.
  3. 00:46:666 (2,1) - kinda unsure about this overlap. Yes, it's readable and visible. Yes, it's pretty easy, but it looks a bit messy and doesn't fit with your regular pattern. It was kinda "unexpected", so I'd try to avoid this overlap! This is just an opinion, tho! :P Or maybe, it'd be better to replace this part with a spinner as it's done on the [Easy], think about it! :3 I don't find it messy. I actually find it quite pretty so i'll keep it.

  1. Awww, CS3 makes it kinda too "huge" and maybe "messy", I'd try to use CS4 here. It'll make all patterns neater + it's more common for [Hard] diffs. I already ranked CS3 hard but this one... yeah, the story of why i chose CS3 is more complicated and i kinda forgot it but then you mentionned it and it made me remember everything! Basically, i was an idiot when i mapped this so yeah, CS4 FTW.
  2. 00:05:166 (7,8,1) - well, to be honest, that's too hard. You have like 2 Insane diff and you use 1/4 triplets even here? No way! That's too hard, at least for THIS diff, please, try to avoid any 1/4 patterns if it's possible. So, players will get well-balanced spread with an enjoyable dff for everyone! I really hesitated about these but i'll trust you. Removed! (as well as the other note in 1/4 in the diff)
  3. 00:18:332 (5,1) - I have nothing against jumps but those are clearly overused. The DS is too huge and jump simply breaks the flow, it's impossible to play because jumps are OUT of this diff. No one expects them and they're too hard here. Please, I'm begging you, keep the DS under x2.0!
    Note: ouch, 00:28:666 (3,4) - that was eally weird. I didn't expect THIS crazy jumps here, c'mon, this is just a [Hard] diff! As long as it matches the song i don't consider it that surprising. Besides it's jump slider which is way easier than jump between notes. But anyway i changed the pattern reducing the jump and i rechecked all diff making changes in other big jumps.
  4. 00:44:499 (2,3) - well, these jumps are okay, but they're unexpected because of music. You know, they don't fit here because music doesn't feel jumpy here.
    Note: same with the 00:14:666 (3,4,5) - jump here. You know, it's playable and readable, but it's out of the songs's rhythm, so during the testplay I felt like this was wrong. :< Yeah, i corrected these two and others as well as i mentionned before.
  5. 00:57:499 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - previously you didn't use anything like this, so this was kinda too hard. clicking 8 notes in a row on such BPM is pretty hard, but I kinda liked it. So, I'd consider replacing a couple of them with a slider, but feel free to keep it if you want to. I also used this pattern at 00:04:166 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) where the music is the same and i did it on purpose because i think it maches the music. Yeah, the pattern is a little bit hard but i think the song justify this extra difficulty ^^

    This was cool, except for the jumps it's a nice diff. Well-mapped, interesting and a little bit messy. I still think that CS4 is the best choice for this diff, sorry. :P Well, thank you. I fixed some of the jump and the CS. And you don't have to apologise for anything XD

The four first sliders have 4 reverses and the last one has 8. That's why there is a combo for the first four and one for the last one. If i put a NC everywhere there will be a confusion with the last slider that i prefer avoiding.

So it is would be better if you change them into a little stream ;)

  2. A few of these points are more or less just personal opinion, so feel free to disagree with me on those.

  1. 00:08:833 (8,9) - I don't really feel this 3/4 slider + note here. They feel much better as just a 1/1 slider imo, like 00:03:499 (7) - . If you want to emphasis the drums, then a 1/2 slider works better as there's a drumbeat at 00:08:999 -
  2. 01:02:166 (8,9) - Same as above^.
[Extreme]
  1. 00:11:666 (4,5,6) - These notes feel a bit close, and don't have as much power as 00:10:666 (1,2,3) - . Some kind of slightly more jumpy pattern would feel better imo.
  2. 00:42:666 (1) - Well, I prefer the soft finish tbh, but you use a normal finish in every other diff here, so decide on either soft or normal I guess :P
  3. 00:47:999 (1) - ^
  4. 00:46:999 (1,2,3) - Because of the spacing at 00:45:833 (2,3,4) - , these notes feel a bit too close. Consider adding some jump pattern here? Like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1265384 or whatever else you can come up with.

  1. OD +1. OD6 and AR9 is kinda... blah. (greatest explanation). OD7 also makes a more balanced spread, as Hard is OD6 and Extreme/Extra are OD8.
  2. 00:09:499 (1) - The drums and the guitar begins at 00:09:333 - , so starting the repeater there feels better.
  3. 00:12:166 (2,3) - Ctrl+g? I kinda like the jump to 00:12:499 (4) - with the higher pitched guitar.
  4. 00:22:833 (7,8) - Ctrl+g here as well, as the pitch changes from (6)->(7)->(8), so it's a bit awkward with the (6,7) stack :P
  5. 00:29:333 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Huh, why did you change the rhythm here? Similar rhythm as 00:26:999 (2,3) - works better for me, and you avoid skipping the drum and guitar.
  6. 00:42:666 (2) - Soft finish as in Extreme. (or normal finish on extreme).

  8. 00:52:666 (1) - I'd actually like if you split this into two repeaters, with the 2nd one starting at 00:52:999 - :P And possibly a note at 00:53:333 - as jonathanlfj said.

  4. 00:55:833 (5,1) - I really don't like the sudden direction change and jump here. Will probably need some rearranging of notes, but you should keep it consistent with 01:01:333 (1) - (and the same parts at the beginning of the song).

  1. I'd prefer swapping to OD4, HP3, as I like the accuracy aspect of everything. Feel free to keep it as you have it though.
  2. 00:16:999 (2) - While stacking isn't really that much of an issue for Normal, the beat at 00:16:999 - sounds pretty weak, so it's harder for a new player to pinpoint when to actually hit this note. I would prefer to have this stacked on 00:17:333 (1) - instead.
  3. 00:19:666 (2) - Same as above, stacked on 00:19:999 (1) - makes it easier to read and generally just feels better to play for me.
  4. 00:47:999 (1) - Soft finish (or normal finish on extreme).
[Easy]
  1. Same as Normal, I'd prefer HP1, OD2 (or even HP2, OD3).
  2. 00:02:666 (1) - This and in general these 5/2 sliders, because of the missing slidertick: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1265547 and low SV, feels pretty awkward to play (like really I almost let go too early a few times because I thought they were 2/1 orz.) There's not much you can do with that though, except fixing those sliders, which is probably pretty tedious, and I'm not sure if it's worth the effort (I mean, it could be just me anyway). I do prefer those patterns where you use 1/1's though, like 00:00:000 (1,2,3) - or 00:53:666 (1,2,3) - .
  3. 00:42:666 (1) - Soft finish (or normal finish on Extreme).
