Play Rissyuu(or Risshuu) - Take

  1. This is an unbadged, rank restricted, 3v3, international osu! standard Tournament.
  2. The rank range is 5k - 25k after applying BWS. There will be no rank buffer. Players must be within the rank range by the end of the registration date.
  3. The relevant formula for BWS is rank^(0.9937^(badges^2)).
  4. The team size can range from 4 to 6 players.
  5. Commentators and streamers are allowed to play in the tournament if they fall within the other criteria.
  6. Team captains must be present in the tournament discord.
  7. Bamboos are cool.

General Procedures

  1. All maps must be played with Score V2 and No Fail enabled. Warmups do not need to follow this rule.
  2. The teams first play through a set of maps in the Qualifiers before advancing to the bracket stage. This will be played through a single time.
  3. The bracket format is doubles elimination. This means that there is a loser bracket, and that the GF could have a bracket reset.
  4. Team captains may choose a set of given times during qualifiers, or apply for an extra time provided that there is a ref which agrees upon the time.
  5. Match schedules are posted Sunday 23:59 UTC.
  6. Reschedules must be done at least 24 hours before your scheduled match time and the planned reschedule time.
Qualifiers Procedures

  1. There are no warmups during qualifiers.
  2. Qualifiers are played in “Head-to-Head”.
  3. The qualifiers are held in large lobbies with three players from each team at any given map. Each lobby will have a ref.
  4. The final seeding is based on the sum of each team’s rank of every map in the qualifiers mappool. A lower sum results in a better seeding.
  5. If two teams have the same total sum, the sum of scores of the teams is used to rank the teams. A higher team score results in a better seeding.
  6. If the previous two conditions are both equal, the teams will be ranked according to the average BWS.
Bracket Stage Procedures

  1. Bracket stages are played in “Team VS”
  2. If your team is not ready to play within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, your match is considered as a forfeit. Matches must be played as 3v3.
  3. Team captains “!roll” to determine pick order. The winner of the roll chooses first pick or first ban.
  4. Each team gets two bans. Bans must be in multiple mod brackets.
  5. Bans are done before picks. Teams will alternate bans, then alternate picks according to ban and pick order. (e.g. team1 ban1, team 2 ban1, team1 ban2, team 2 ban2, picks)
  6. Each team will be given one optional warmup. Warmups must be under 4:30 for each team. The winner of the roll picks the first warmup.
  7. Teams are expected to exercise common sense in pick time windows. The opposing team may choose to have the ref set a 90 second timer. If there is no pick given, the pick will be given to the other team.
  8. If there is a genuine disconnection, the map result will be given to whichever team had a distinct advantage score wise. If the difference threshold is considered to be ambiguous or unknown, the pick may be replayed.
  9. In Freemod, there must be 2 unique mod combinations. HDHR counts as HR. NM is not a unique mod combination. (Note: EZ/HR/HR is a valid split)
  10. The remaining player can choose any of the following mods in any combination: HD, HR, FL, EZ, NM. There is no multiplier for EZ or FL.
