these are pretty outdated, i dont really take from anyone in particular nowadays most of the time
- lfj: comfort/discomfort based contrast
- nyquill: rhythmic simplifications and interpretations
- laurier: movement choices
- zweib: pattern choice, movement
- byfar: semi harsh momentum and rhythmic choices
- that archist guy: level design and progression based mindset
- lan wings: i would not map yura if this guy didnt exist
what do i map
- artist(s): hatsuki yura
- types of maps: basically anything that i play
how to map
- theres a lotta terms in mapping; dont try to focus on everything at once
- understanding playing goes a long way. starting with mapping stuff you play is usually a decent idea
- if you arent happy with what you mapped, map something better; at least you know that you can strive for better
- try your best to convey the song to the player; why have a song at all if thats not what you are doing
- make the map coherent and fun; it's a game after all
- be consistent and committed; interact with other mappers when needed
- your journey to becoming a competent mapper will uniquely shape how you map, dont follow others without reflection
