Hey everyone ,

I Like to play catch the beat allot , and also its a habit of mine to want to catch scores as high as possible.

But here's my problem with getting scorepoints , I can't seem to catch enough banana's to get my points up ,
So i want to ask you guys ,
What do you think is the best strategy to catch as many banana's as possible ?
Or rather, what works te best for you to catch allot ?

If you really want to catch a lot of the bananas, you have to play the map a lot and plan out a route to take through the banana rain. One half of the spinner usually has more bananas than the other half - but sometimes that half switches, so you need to be ready to move to the other side!

umm.. predict a pattern?

Actually you'll find your Way after you improved in CTB and then it won't even take many tries to get many Bananas and to rank in the Top40.

It's actually like the Spinners in Standard: Some are better, some are worse.

You should learn them, cause they will be the same on every map, and every spinner has a pattern to catch more fruits, is just on practice, you should try to be the best spin on every map and you will become a spin master!

this, and you won't get to get max spinner on first try tbh, unless the map has a really short spinner. practice more and you'll get better on it. just catch the ones with the obvious patters and when you think you can still get a higher one on it try again until satisfied.
Deif
Most of the spinners in CTB have a clear "route" to catch as much bananas as possible, but you'll be able to see that only with practice. On the other hand, others are so chaotic that you'll have to improvise a bit to get a lot of bananas :p
Flask
change OD to 1 As Deif said, yeah there's a route for catching bananas (spinners). Just practice more and more you'll be able to find it.

It doesn't exist, they're probably less known spins, but you shouldn't improvise anything.

try this
Doesn't help anything. Only the firt 2 or 3 patterns are on regular maps, the other part is just spamming ~

No, it's not.

: ok :

These are just a few samples of whole spinners.

plus, spinners' density changes with its length and bpm.

And spinners in current screenshots set by lowest density. (28.2 x n bpm)

I am not an active player nor the best spinner, but I think I can tell something about this topic
because I am on midterm exam period and everything is fun except studying.

1. See spinner monsters' replays. Their microcontrols will be quite hard to catch but their route choice will be very useful.
When I was noob I watched CLSW's replays since he was (and still is ;) ) the best in terms of creativity on choosing routes.
However following other people's route limits creativity imo, so I didn't do that when I was able to get some #1s.

2. Play a lot.

3. 'greedy' solution is always not the best. Trying to get one more banana will lose plenty of bananas. Test several different routes.

4. Check your scorebar after spins and check how much spinners did you get compared to your previous records.

5. Practicing certain routes is very helpful since some spinner patterns appear frequently. ex) first spinner on rubik's cube 7x7x7

6. Change the beatmap to ctb only, test it with edit mode and practice same spinner pattern again and again.
this one is not for beginners, actually. this really helps when you are struggling for #1

Also you can fight against others guys at your level, you know, improving your score to beat someone is better ;D
