Hello~
Modding via forum pm request from Pokie-sama.
All suggestions, opinions, that stuff.
The Extra is a bit hard for me so I don't think I'll be much help there, and by a bit I mean a lot.
I don't really care for this song, so sorry if this isn't that helpful.
[General]
Nothing to say.
[Easy]
00:24:008 - Are you sure you want to have this SV change in a beginner diff?
00:28:808 (1) - I think we should stick with the same pattern here as before since the verse is just repeated again. Increase the length of this slider to 00:30:008 and then delete 00:30:008 (2). This way we have a repeating pattern with 00:24:008 (1,2) which beginners will enjoy and be able to read easily.
00:35:408 (3,4) - Please avoid this stacking in a beginner map. A new player will not be able to read it, they will think they need to mash the key really fast over these notes or something. They'll miss and will hate your map. Why can't we just do the same thing we've done until now? 00:30:608 (2) like this, these sliders work very well.
00:37:808 (3,4) - ^
01:04:808 (1,2) - Can't say I like this flow, it should be more like this IMO.
Here we can have the 01:04:808 (1) blanketing the 01:07:208 (1) and we can avoid them overlapping which is nice.
01:14:408 (1,2,3,1) - I think we should try and avoid all of this overlap. The beginner would enjoy a beatmap more if it has them moving more around the screen IMO. I also think we should make 01:18:008 (2,3) flow towards the center of the screen to setup for the spinner. I believe this will help a beginning player notice it faster. Can you rearrange 01:14:408 (1,2) so we can accomplish that?
01:18:908 (3) - Maybe make this two circles instead of a slider? That way we could hit a circle on the downbeat 01:19:208 to kickstart that stream which would feel nice.
01:50:708 (2) - No reason for the repeat here. You should just repeat the same pattern that you did at 01:46:808 (1,2). Like this?
Doesn't that flow nice? You could have the 01:48:308 (2) aiming at the 01:49:208 (1).
02:00:908 (3) - Just delete this note. It stacks with 02:01:208 (1) and it breaks the pattern before it even though were in the same verse here.
Do not stack like this in beginner please. Especially at this BPM.
02:03:008 (4,5) - Lets rethink this. Wouldn't it feel more powerful to hit a circle on the downbeat at 02:03:608 instead of a slider end? Plus we could have a new combo there... It would be so much better. Please switch the positions of the 4 and 5 so we can have this nice pattern here:
02:01:208 (1) to 02:06:008 (1)
NC at 02:03:608 and 02:06:008
Isn't that a much more epic way to end the song than a slider end with no NC?
[Standard]
It's a great map, so just suggestions.
Are you sure about all of this overlap? Don't you think it might be a bit confusing for players at this level?
00:23:708 (1) - Remove this circle? It's just messing up the combos here and it's fine without it.
00:24:908 (2,1,2,3,4,1) - Ugh...Don't you think this is all just really messy? Wouldn't it have been better like this?:
The 00:24:908 (2) isn't intruding on the 00:25:208 (1,2,3,4) combo, but is instead leading into it. The 00:26:408 (1) is stacked on the 00:25:208 (1) which looks nice and is intuitive to read. You can stack the 00:27:308 (2) onto the 4 to flow out of the combo and into the next.
00:27:608 (1,2,3,4,1) - Same thing here. Isn't it better like this?:
Stack the 00:28:808 (1) on the 00:27:608 (1)
00:54:008 (1) - Why not stack on the 00:52:808 (1) and have it flow through the 00:53:108 (2) into the 00:54:608 (2)?
I feel like we should have circles at 01:38:108 and 01:40:508 so here's what I suggest.
Then stack the 01:39:908 (2) on the 01:38:108 (3) and go from there.
02:03:608 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - Why not more like this?
Doesn't it look cleaner?
[Hyper]
00:04:808 (1,2,3) - The polarity is bad. Can we fix it? Something like this makes more sense IMO:
00:04:808 (1) to 00:06:608 (5)
00:36:308 (2) - This slider is nice, but it's just too hard to tell that it's one whole beat, where as the slider before it was only one half. 90% of players will get a 100 or miss when they hit the 00:36:758 (3) early. You should make this slider more obvious.
00:39:308 (4) - Ctrl-g this please so we get to flow into the 00:39:608 (1,2,3,4,5) combo nicely. It's already difficult enough.
00:43:058 (4) - Make this two circles IMO. One at 00:43:058 and a NC one at 00:43:208 on that nice downbeat before the pause.
00:44:408 (1) - What's with this? Wouldn't it feel nicer to just have a pause until 00:45:608 and then start the combos on that accented downbeat there?
As of now you have the verse starting with this slider end and a pause after it... Why?
01:10:808 (1,2,3,4) - This rhythm fits much better like this:
01:10:808 (1) to 01:12:008 (1)
01:21:308 (4,1,2,3,4) - Again I think these combos are just too hard when the previous slider flows away from them. Just ctrl-g all of 01:20:408 (1,2,3,4) so that 01:21:308 (4) can flow into those circles.
01:22:808 (1,2,3,4,5) - I don't agree with this, it just feels awkward to play. Can you try something like this instead?
01:39:608 (1) - What's with this insanely awkward jump and slider with 2 repeats on it? The 01:38:408 (1,2,3,4,5,1) should be making a curved pattern and then we should have this rhythm that's nice and easy to read.
I still don't really like it though. You can think of something better.
01:41:858 (2,1) - Is it alright that these sliders are completely overlapped? I thought that was unrankable.
01:52:208 (1) - Remove NC
01:52:808 (3) - NC
01:55:208 (1) - Why are there so many repeats on this slider it plays so bad.
You have the new verse starting on the slider end because of this at 01:56:408 and it feels terrible. Isn't this better and cleaner to play?
02:00:008 (1,2,3,4,5) - This plays awful IMO. Honestly I think you should replace it with two large 1 beat sliders.
02:03:608 (1,2) -
[Another]
The spacing can be a bit ridiculous at times IMO.
00:25:508 (5,6,7) - Why does spacing increase so much here? There is no change in the music.
00:40:208 (5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - It would be better if they were forming some sort of a pattern, or were stacking on previous notes. It feels like a lot of them are placed randomly and is really difficult to play.
00:52:658 (3,4) -
With the previous 1 and 2, I'm expecting this 3 to fall on the downbeat, but instead it falls on the red tick before it. It's super confusing and feels terrible to play. Just remove the 3.
01:48:008 (1,2,3,4) - See wouldn't it feel nicer if these flowed out of the previous 01:47:708 (4) a little better?
You should think more about patterns and stacking on previous notes in this diff IMO.
[Extra]
Don't think I can help you much here. Sorry.
Anyways. I hope this is helpful.
Thanks for requesting a mod. I'll leave star. <3
