been wanting to dip my toes into mmorpg for a while now but my laptop specs are absolutely abysmall. online articles/videos are a hit or miss and a bit one dimensional so any of yous have some good mmorpg recomendations with low end graphics*?

*top down, low poly, etc. just not something too powerful like new world

Old School Runescape (My personal favorite) , Albion Online, World of Warcraft (or wow private servers)

there actually really aren't any really great MMORPG in the market, but the main ones are WoW, OSRS (old school runescape), FFXIV (Final Fantasy XIV) , Guild Wars 2. Thing is that these games are mad expensive except maybe guild wars 2.

I played GW2 back when it came out and it's really worth it (if it didn't change too much).
It also runs on a toaster.

I personally didn't enjoy Albion Online. OSRS is great, Guild Wars 2 is apparently great (I've heard no negative criticism of it).
Final Fantasy might be good too, it's payment method is loopy though.

Try looking for some Free and Open-Source options. Yes, some MMORPG games are good, but they can be predatory if you aren't careful.

Just to add to FFXIV, they have a generous free trial that lets you play indefinitely.
As far as I'm aware it includes 99% of the content from the base game all the way to the end of the second expansion, which is an ungodly amount of hours you can sink into without having to pay for the game at all.

Of course it comes with limitations like making parties (only being invited or entering a dungeon and queuing), currency cap, accessing the player economy, etc.

And yes, the subscription adds up if you never cancel it, and gets disgustingly expensive the longer you play it.

I just checked this out for the first time, I'll probably sink a few hours into it.
