BNHA actually, i put it off for so long simply because of zoomer taste but im around 10 episodes deep and i can easily see why people really like this particular anime, the deku and bakugo rivalry is too over the top imo

overall 9 episodes deep ill give it a 8/10 for now since it piqued my interest quite a bit but it doesnt fully resonate with me (yet)

update if anyone cares: ive managed to get halfway into season 2 now and its really starting to pick up for me now, still 8/10 but it can easily be a 9 or even 10 if the executed it right.

Went back to watching Popee the Performer.

You know Happy Tree Friends? Well, it's like that but in Japan's 2000 CGI and Japanese sense of logic.

The only real complaint is that the music is too repetitive, they reuse the opening song like every chapter as an insert song. The fact that it's a short 4 min/ep anime makes it worse.

- Aqua and Akane are my favorite characters so far <3

- Ruby and Mem-Cho are so cute together!! I love seeing them smiling 👍

- Kana is... a mix between interesting and annoying? I mean, she now always acts like she's a special person and that nobody knows her life story. I liked her in the beginning but since Aqua and Akane announced their relationship, she behaves strangely...

I am only watching the anime and I can say that even tho his character development is not that great, his behavior is always so PERFECT. His seriousness is the reason why I think that he's better than Kana

I swear I literally exploded the moment when Akane exactly reproduced his mother's voice & look and that he started to FRICKING BLUSH AJJEHEID2JIDWBEHDU3IWHDHEHRBEHEJ3H4J3J-

Kana on the other hand has a great character development, but I just don't like her behavior at all

I've never thought to myself that one character was more human than another. All the characters that we see frequently have their own story and a goal to reach in their life. They're all equally human!!!

- B Komachi is finally under the spotlight LET'S GOOOOOO

- Seeing Kana and Aqua together again is pretty good! The fact that Kana didn't accept that Aqua was with Akane until he fricking says that it's a professional relationship makes me scared ngl...

- I respect more Kana now because she still wants to be an Idol even tho she's always pessimist with herself, but she's still annoying and narcissist so I still don't like her 😑

- Kyousuke is an average japanese student so I have nothing much to say...

- Kirino is also a normal student, but she has a weird passion, and she's annoying asf...

- Saori has a good vibe! It's a shame that she's not as present as Kyousuke and Kirino... Maybe later?

- It looks like Ruri doesn't talk to people except the three above... Mehh, she's not a bad character anyway lol

- Manami is so cute! What a silly angel <333

- I don't want to talk about Ayase...

Tomozaki is a low tier character 8/10 pretty interesting

summary of the first episode
It's about a "gamer" Who placed top 1 in the game "Attack Family" (Smash bros. in this universe) but one day he got beaten by the second on the leaderboard then decided to meet up. Turns out it's one of the popular girl in his school. But instead of talking about the game he got shitted on because she thought he was someone who have a life. Then he cope about how she is a high tier character in life and he is a low tier. Then she lectured him and agree to teach him to actually play the game called "life."

Not really interested at first, but I don't have anything better to watch because recent seasons are filled with fantasy crap. But it's not as bad as I thought. Probably an anime to encourage someone to actually have a life and touch grass. But I feel like people like those are gonna say "well, I don't have a girl that teach me how to live a life" Or something like that

Manga, Ubume no Natsu. Heavy in dialogue, nice suspense and quite juicy drama in there.
It's just 10 chapters but damn these chapters are long.


Our four detective protagonists. They're a bit eccentric for the tone of the manga but interesting characters overall.

Reading it bc it's a prequel to an anime I am planning to watch (Mouryou no Hako), which for some reason adapted the second novel in the series instead of the first but anyway.

Boogiepop (the 2019 one). This feels different from the 2000 version, but I still like it. Unlike the 2000 version, the storytelling here has become more lineal and easy to understand, something which I am glad at, however, the distinctive artstyle and eerie atmosphere of 2000's boogiepop is definitely absent.

Ah also, this is not avant garde by any means. Might request a change.

Well I've read the manga up to its latest release. And yeah I know since last year that this thing will get an anime adaptaion. But the fact that the adaptation is THIS good still blew my mind so I can't evaluate it yet after "one" episode.

I already posted here but I always see this thread sooo...
I started Konosuba, I finished the first season and I thought it was very cute, funny, I love the animation and in my opinion I feel as if the show doesn't "drag" every episode is unique and has great moments.
My favorite character is Aqua or Darkness, Aqua is so cute and funny, and Darkness with her nasty jokes are SOO awkward but great lol.
Megumin has a great character design, but I feel Aqua and Darkness added more enjoyment to the show.

Hyped to start the 2nd season and hoping the 3rd releases soon

the fan-colored version, yes. The original version however no, you can find it on mangadex or dynastyscans or whatever other totally legal website

the fan-colored version, yes. The original version however no, you can find it on mangadex or dynastyscans or whatever other totally legal website

ef - a tale of memories

A pretty standard drama romance... if it weren't by the fact the animation is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. This was made in 2007, THO THOUSAND AND SEVEN but if it weren't by the fact they still use these clamshell phones and the overall character design I wouldn't have noticed.



The opening is just like half of how crazy does the animation go. This is the second SHAFT anime I watch and I am already falling in love with the style of the studio.
