I'm in episode 6 right now

- Kyousuke is an average japanese student so I have nothing much to say...

- Kirino is also a normal student, but she has a weird passion, and she's annoying asf...

- Saori has a good vibe! It's a shame that she's not as present as Kyousuke and Kirino... Maybe later?

- It looks like Ruri doesn't talk to people except the three above... Mehh, she's not a bad character anyway lol

- Manami is so cute! What a silly angel <333

- I don't want to talk about Ayase...

Tomozaki is a low tier character 8/10 pretty interesting

summary of the first episode
It's about a "gamer" Who placed top 1 in the game "Attack Family" (Smash bros. in this universe) but one day he got beaten by the second on the leaderboard then decided to meet up. Turns out it's one of the popular girl in his school. But instead of talking about the game he got shitted on because she thought he was someone who have a life. Then he cope about how she is a high tier character in life and he is a low tier. Then she lectured him and agree to teach him to actually play the game called "life."

Not really interested at first, but I don't have anything better to watch because recent seasons are filled with fantasy crap. But it's not as bad as I thought. Probably an anime to encourage someone to actually have a life and touch grass. But I feel like people like those are gonna say "well, I don't have a girl that teach me how to live a life" Or something like that

Manga, Ubume no Natsu. Heavy in dialogue, nice suspense and quite juicy drama in there.
It's just 10 chapters but damn these chapters are long.


Our four detective protagonists. They're a bit eccentric for the tone of the manga but interesting characters overall.

Reading it bc it's a prequel to an anime I am planning to watch (Mouryou no Hako), which for some reason adapted the second novel in the series instead of the first but anyway.

Boogiepop (the 2019 one). This feels different from the 2000 version, but I still like it. Unlike the 2000 version, the storytelling here has become more lineal and easy to understand, something which I am glad at, however, the distinctive artstyle and eerie atmosphere of 2000's boogiepop is definitely absent.

Ah also, this is not avant garde by any means. Might request a change.

Well I've read the manga up to its latest release. And yeah I know since last year that this thing will get an anime adaptaion. But the fact that the adaptation is THIS good still blew my mind so I can't evaluate it yet after "one" episode.

People say FMA is peak fiction, but this one gets overlooked despite being made by the same author and I must say Gin no Saji is AWESOME.

I already posted here but I always see this thread sooo...
I started Konosuba, I finished the first season and I thought it was very cute, funny, I love the animation and in my opinion I feel as if the show doesn't "drag" every episode is unique and has great moments.
My favorite character is Aqua or Darkness, Aqua is so cute and funny, and Darkness with her nasty jokes are SOO awkward but great lol.
Megumin has a great character design, but I feel Aqua and Darkness added more enjoyment to the show.

Hyped to start the 2nd season and hoping the 3rd releases soon

ef - a tale of memories

A pretty standard drama romance... if it weren't by the fact the animation is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. This was made in 2007, THO THOUSAND AND SEVEN but if it weren't by the fact they still use these clamshell phones and the overall character design I wouldn't have noticed.



The opening is just like half of how crazy does the animation go. This is the second SHAFT anime I watch and I am already falling in love with the style of the studio.

First and second seasons are masterpiece. I then saw 3rd and 4th seasons existed... and that's what happened. Season 4 is the worst disgrace I had to witness, turning a complex and well-done plot with excellent character development into peak cynicism.

You can also note there's a difference of 13 years between S2 and S3. Higurashi already adapted all of the visual novel in the first two seasons and had a perfect ending, nobody needed another season, nobody asked for it. Yeah, Higurashi S3 and especially S4 is the "nobody asked" of anime imo. The problem that happened is that they advertised S3 as a remake just to lie the audience because if they said it was a sequel everyone would have gone irate.

First and second seasons are masterpiece. I then saw 3rd and 4th seasons existed... and that's what happened. Season 4 is the worst disgrace I had to witness, turning a complex and well-done plot with excellent character development into peak cynicism.

You can also note there's a difference of 13 years between S2 and S3. Higurashi already adapted all of the visual novel in the first two seasons and had a perfect ending, nobody needed another season, nobody asked for it. Yeah, Higurashi S3 and especially S4 is the "nobody asked" of anime imo. The problem that happened is that they advertised S3 as a remake just to lie the audience because if they said it was a sequel everyone would have gone irate.

Though, what I think of it? I mean, come on, this is iM@S, and it's about the idols under 149cm, does this need any logical thought? One is just in for the characters for this. Though there sometimes are nice songs out there...

I'm currently watching season 2 of JJK and Goblin Slayer, both of which are good anime, although I must admit I have a preference for Jujutsu Kaisen.

Watching Kusuriya no Hitorigoto; The Apothecary Diaries. The manga is a literal textwall. I'm kinda surprised to see the adaptation this good.

It was actually so great, there are definitely some funny moments lol

It's quite good. If you just sit back and relax, you'll definitely enjoy it. The animation and colours are simply gorgeous. I think it could bit less exposition-heavy monologue-ing, especially when it's doing detective things. I have quite some expectation of this

for now 6/10

So I have been watching Inuyasha recently, it's somewhat different to what I'd expect from a battle shounen, adding there a slowly developing romance. It's mostly good.

I implied to it in a thread on OT where you talked about people dropping threads. Anyways yeah watch kino no tabi (2003) (specifically the 2003 version, the other is also good but this one is the best)
