All vertical falling notes games (forgot wtf they're categorized/named as) are very similar, after adjusting to the minor differences in each yeah, mania players would be good at them (unless there are vast differences in gameplay, like sdvx or whatever).
Yeah. If you play osu!mania, then you would have a pretty good start at playing other VSRGs. Since FNF is just a regular VSRG with no other gameplay mechanics, all of the skills you learned from osu!mania or other VSRGs will be extremely applicable to FNF.THAT_otaku wrote:

i used to play that game but i do not anymore do to it being a bad game because its a au of the pico series known for its blood and gore and swearing and overall racist and offensive stuff because adult show reasons but i am good at it though edit:parappa is better honestly and same with ddr but I mean flash things did spawn our indie game scene though

to be honest, before i even discovered osu i played fnf a lot in my free time but stopped very abruptly. my friend, (who played fnf A LOT) switched to osu!mania and to be honest, it was pretty easy for him. the only struggles i’d see in someone is the introduction to downscroll, but that doesn’t take much getting used too - relatively easy. with the addition of arrow skins too, i couid see it being a comfortable switch. 
One thing I will unironically say about FNF, is that lots of the charts have very bursty parts that are sometimes hard af to hit, those types of charts are really fun to be honest but i hate seeing oversaturated bambi mods which is literally all just jackspam to hell. Basically good FNF charts can exist but if you are gonna make a FNF chart, try understanding the charting done in 4k VSRGs before you attempt charting in FNF otherwise it might just be complete unplayable unfun garbage.
