my internet speed was fucked up since installing Pop!_OS but I found a thread on some forum saying to delete "/lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-6.bin" and it literally unthrottled my internet speed, I went from 4mbps to 30mbps download speed ???? i've never seen download speed that fast in my life

WTF!!!!

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

I tried using Linux (Manjaro - KDE Plasma) before and I absolutely loved it compared to Windows since it ran much smoother on my work laptop and slight increase in battery life but I switched back to Windows as I just needed certain features Linux didn't have, but might go back to it at some point since at that time I was just testing it out.

Ubuntu user here.

Linux is a godsend. It's complicated and frustrating when you don't know how to use it, but when you do it's... *chef's kiss*

Linux Mint user here!

Having used Linux for almost 2 years at this point, I can say that it is a good challenge to partake in, if you happened to be tech savvy like I am.

Might I recommend using Linux Mint?
