Just had an idea a random idea sorta regarding the perfect mod.

what if we had Perfect mod, but instead you are allowed to get 1-3 100s without automatically failing?
This would be a good middle ground between SD (Sudden death) and PF (Perfect).

i find myself practicing with SD to Full combo maps, not usually a problem.
yet i am forced to use PF mod to practice accuracy (when i want auto fails)
which makes it alot harder specifically with harder maps and choke area.

I respect the perfect mod very much, but i also feel the need to have a mod to get 97-98% acc with a
few 100s or you fail. this would be very good training to play the perfect mod.

Anyways osu has been out for a while and this has probably already been thrown out there at some point,
but hey why not bring it up anyways and explain reasoning?. well that's my random idea.
Thanks for reading :D

Yes, like that expect you aren't able to set limits of 100s since that would be to easy in my opinon. especially if the mod was to give you extra score like it's brothers SD and PF

Couldnt you always quick retry if you hit too many 100s or 50s or go below a certain accuracy?
THAT_otaku
i mean honestly it should be an adjustable feature in lazer like other mods have

Yes you could, but it gets annoying with maps slightly outside your skill range.

would this not be the same issue with the mod? Im not sure I understand how the skill range impacts how the mod reacts to your gameplay

i think having to manually restart messes with my flow.
auto restart mods (like SD) make me a lot less mad on harder maps and allows me to practice a little easier, but that's just my personal experience of course.
