Omg the mapping at the chorus sooooooooooooooooooooooo tits
I appreciate that you took the time to point that out, I'll surely delete it. I'm a perfectionist.SapphireGhost wrote:

Eh, I guess it makes more sense for an easy. I'll also make it consistent through the other difficulties.SapphireGhost wrote:
[Easy]
00:42:677 (1) - Start one blue tick later.
The 1/4 notes are kinda supposed to be like that, and they're consistent through the difficulty (or I have forgotten my own map). As for the overlap, I'll just move the orange (3) down.SapphireGhost wrote:
00:52:912 (3,4,5) - Aaah weird 1/4 notes. Change to a vertical slider?
02:50:265 (1) - Not much overlap in the map, get rid of it here?
You should stay awake~ it's easily noticeable, or at least, that's what I think.SapphireGhost wrote:
[Normal]
00:41:618 (4) - One of the notes under a slider is 1/1 tick later, and the other one is 1/2 tick later. A bit confusing ;_;
I spread the notes in the first suggestion, but I don't really see the need for the second suggestion.SapphireGhost wrote:
01:20:618 (1,2) - Spread a bit further apart so (3) can breathe.
02:15:853 (1) - Start three blue ticks later.
There's no way I'd destroy that first pattern! And the second one, I guess I'll just flip the second repeat.SapphireGhost wrote:
[Hard]
01:41:794 (1,2,3) - I thought these were 1/4 notes /end derp
02:43:912 (1) - I was also confused by this spacing.
And thank you. There's one map left for you to mod!SapphireGhost wrote:
Very nice map. I give it a rats.
Huh, I can see the difference. I guess I will use it, thanks.Zelos wrote:
I was getting around 11445 offset? its mot to much different then what you had.
Well, I can see the non-square-ness, so I rectified it. Don't really get what you mean here though.Zelos wrote:
Easy:
00:52:912 (3) - turn off distance snap and move down 1 little tick? makes it more square.
Yeah, kind of did them in purpose, but I think a 'Normal' player can handle it.Zelos wrote:

jumps? o_o
Eh, sorry, but there's no way I'll destroy that pattern~Zelos wrote:

Oh wow, thank you very much.Zelos wrote:

Yeah, maybe I should tone it down... I will wait for a few more opinions first though.gyt wrote:

00:23:441 (2,1) - 1.7x jump in normal?
00:24:147 (1,2,3) - 1.35x?
00:39:677 (1,2,3,4) - it is played badly (00:41:618 (4) is sudden) - add circle at 00:41:794 and change this pattern?
00:50:971 (1,2,3,4) - oh, I think it isn't suitable for normal
00:52:383 (1,2) - 1.9x jump?
01:43:206 (3,4,5) - 2.2x jump...
Well, simply rename this difficulty to "hard" (and "hard" to "insane"). There are nice jumps, but not for normal diff, IMO.
I don't think these are as bad as [Normal], but I see your point. I guess I will change them if the majority agrees, although I went for a more noticeable difficulty curve, so maybe saying that the jumps will make more sense.gyt wrote:

01:19:206 (1,2,3) - reduce spacing?
01:31:912 (3,1) - jump in easy? oh well

02:10:030 (1,2) - ^
02:46:207 (6,1,2) - ^
02:58:030 (1,2,3,4) - ^
hm, if you don't change these jumps - maybe rename this diff to "normal"?
Heh, I actually think I should stop shoving my nickname on everything, most people probably don't care. I think it's clever if I leave it like this. :pJames2250 wrote:
-I would say try and lower the "Beatmap by Gens" or else it is almost completely hidden by the HP Bar but up to you
I actually had it for a nice fade in effect and thought it wouldn't cause any problems, but you're right, I guess it's better if I revert it, for consistency and functionality.James2250 wrote:
-You shouldn't need the 1 second audio lead-in on any difficulty?
Well, it does follow the line. Wouldn't sound as good if I snapped them to 1/4... so I'm guessing it's fine.James2250 wrote:
Easy:
00:33:062 (3,4) - sounds kind of odd how they are snapped right now (same for every difficulty) could also confuse beginners with them being snapped like this
Uh, I'm missing what you're saying here... Fixed I think.James2250 wrote:
00:37:562 (1,2,1) - spacing on stuff like should stay equal (especially for an Easy)
Oho, I hadn't even noticed. You have plenty of time to move your mouse in a whole beat. :p Fixed anyhow.James2250 wrote:
00:45:327 (1,2) - might want to avoid too many jumps
Oh, thanks for pointing it out, wasn't intentional (well, I just didn't notice).James2250 wrote:
02:46:739 (1,2,3) - keep the spacing equal
Hmm... actually, I did it so I could keep certain beats unstacked (as you might have noticed at 02:03:679), that's why everything else is manually stacked. I always thought it was fine back then since I even got some maps ranked with manual stacking (8 months ago), but standards could have changed anyhow. For what it's worth, I've never gotten an official OK from peppy, so I could be just messing with the guidelines.James2250 wrote:

-You shouldn't need your stack leniency set to the minimum value (especially as you did some of your own stacking in the editor) I recommend you make it nearer to the other difficulties
This is the pattern I originally had in mind, and I still somewhat like it. It does look messy though... if I get a suggestion equally good or even better then I will change it, but else, I wouldn't like to think of another pattern entirely. :(James2250 wrote:
01:04:386 (5) - personally I woulkdn't have this slider under all of the other hitbursts
It is hard, trying to create an entertaining yet easy difficulty, with a reasonable difficulty curve while following the music. I hope it's fine now~James2250 wrote:
The mapset looks pretty good, mostly just go through Easy and make it slightly more beginner friendly and check out the stack leniency slightly more
