You can choose whether or not the numbers appear on the corner in FRAPS. Go to FPS, and in the box that says 'Overlay Corner' you can choose which corner to have it in, or turn it off. i was using xfire and it worked really well actually.. but for some strange reason it adds some strange delay in the sounds on my recordings, and i dont have a clue why.
