I would argue that you got it the wrong way around. A 1x1px blank image is enough, anything more than that would be wasted space, even if its just a couple kilobytes
Tested with a 500x500 transparent canvas, a 1x1 pixel takes lesser KB.
The only instance where regular size is neccessary is when the element requires hitbox (Buttons, circles). Other than that 1x1 is more than enough for invisible/transparent elements for the sake of filesize
