If you're using Windows, press F3 in Songs folder and type "kind:=video".
Sorry for mentioning you again after 7 months, but recently, I've found a new thing on some different computers from my friends, that *.ogg and *.oga also got treated as video by Windows.
Some beatmaps hitsounds use *.ogg instead of *.wav for low file size, and still retain the low-latency. And also some maps use *.ogg instead of *.mp3 for audio becuz how opus codec is way superior.
So after Ctrl+A when typing "kind:=video", make sure to unselect the *.ogg files.
But you probably deleted them all. Very sorry for the inconvenience, I haven't found this at that time. And my Windows version doesn't recognize them as video, so I didn't notice. You may have deleted the hitsounds and the music files of some maps.

This map needs its osz (or folder if already imported ingame) to be renamed.
You can also replace/rename the mapset in 2007-10 (osu!) pack.
This only happens to the osz file, not the osu files inside, the website already fixed this one, just not the map inside your pack, so I didn't state it in the ASCII related problem.

How many maps per mode/year?
osu! number of mapsets:
2007: 199 (348 349 beatmaps)
2010: 1910 (6351 6352 beatmaps)
2017: 1301 1300 (5348 5347 beatmaps)
2018: 2053 (8695 8701 beatmaps)
2019: 2282 2281 (9036 9035 beatmaps)
osu!taiko number of mapsets:
2017: 355 (1187 beatmaps)
2018: 454 (1499 1504 beatmaps)
2019: 558 559 (1868 1869 beatmaps)
osu!catch number of mapsets:
2018: 197 (704 709 beatmaps)

I'm not sure if it would affect 2017 osu!taiko at all, because when I counted this before, I joined all modes in the same year, and use "mode=t" ingame to show how many results are there.
So 2017 may have the number remain unchanged. Because the prob is just a mapset didn't show up in osu!taiko pack, but still exists in osu! pack.

I'll try to re-count all of this, once I'm not busy irl, since this was counted when the ASCII problem occured (stated in the original post).

The first 2 maps, you are checking the map with the submitted date, not the ranked date.
Those 5 mapsets should be in 2018-05, 2018-05, 2019-10, 2019-10, 2019-10 packs.
I'll update this message when I downloaded them from the cloud and check.
They should all be there, because I also have an osu! client to store all the maps from the packs, and when I type those mapsetID, they're all there.
UPDATE:
The last 3 are all in 2019-10 (osu!)
Waiting for the first 2.

They're both in 2018-05 (osu!).

Hi! I'm a big fan of this project and I was wondering if I could provide direct download links. Currently, Google Drive/OneDrive are unreliable in zipping/downloading all of the maps, and a direct download link would be much more reliable/faster.

Hi, I'm very interested in this project, but I have a problem: how can you find these beatmaps that with this statement 'This beatmap is currently not available for download.'?
For example, beatmapsets/44527#osu/139446 is a beatmap that can't download online ,and I even can't search out this beatmap by beatmap ID or beatmap name.How can you find this kind of maps?
By the way, can you post all links of (Ranked/Approved) map that with this statement 'This beatmap is currently not available for download.'? Thanks a lot!

The packs are mostly made after they're ranked for maximum of instantly to 6 months (depending if Elessey is busy or not), so they were still available. Or even if it wasn't, you can download from either bloodcat, or BeatConnect.
Sorry, but I can't post all links of maps with those statement, because doing that would take a lot of time.
But you can guess that they're all from KONAMI/BENAMI arcade games like idx, iidx, SDVX, or some OP/ED anime songs like MIIRO, or some big hits like Despacito, ...

What kind of problems? If it told you that can't be downloaded atm, then make a copy to your Drive, then download from there.
GD limits downloads of each file like 1000 times per 24h.

Confirmed the above problems.

And also beatmapsets/1118896 and beatmapsets/1130197 in 2020-04 (osu!taiko) failed (because of really small file size, unfinished downloading, maybe?)

Is the map "The Solace of Oblivion" removed？If it is removed,maybe the number of beat maps in 2017 is 5346,not 5347,I am going to download all 2007~2018 standard maps(by other methods), and I want to check if the sum of maps in 2007~2018 is equals to yours(57912 or 57911)

Well... I just find that I have 15964 sets and 57923 maps in 2007-2018 (Standard)
In your data,total sets is 15964 and total maps is 57912
The last sets in 2018 is 754302 right?(with UTC+4)
Maybe some sets have duplicate diffs? I really don't know...
Can Anyone tell me how to delete duplicate map?(two map have same beatmapID)

Even if there are multiple files of 1 diff, when you import them ingame, it only shows 1, just one. It's just that you have a/some redundant file(s) taking up space.
There are NONE duplicate mapsets or beatmaps (difficulties) if you just downloaded 1 game mode.
If you download multiple game modes, just put them in together, and the mapsets that have multiple game modes will overwrite each other, so no duplicate.
And 57923 vs. 57912, it can either be the above problem (counted before ASCII-related prob detected), or you counted the other game modes in it. (Because there are sets with multiple game modes, and the stats only count "standard" diffs)

I used "mode=o status=r"then it shows 57923 lol.And I'll check these maps whenever I have time.

In fact, I downloaded these maps through osu!api. And some sets are CORRUPTED.(I had found 2 sets have duplicated diffs,for their filename is ACTUALLY NOT SAME) So I have to make sure how many sets have this problem.

NEW NOTE:By checking sets 1-1005 ,the number of maps is 57914 now ,still 2 duplicate diffs to FIND OUT.

Thanks and I also appreciate the effort you put in this.
If you find any, feel free to report them here.

I haven't found anything like that in the past, except that there are time mappers upload package with "test" (or something similar) diffs that included in the *.osz file, which doesn't show up on the web, like the template of the beatmaps
But it would be unranked, and doesn't show up when using "status=r", just 1 redundant *.osu file when searching via Windows Explorer...

A GOOD NEWS HERE: I just found set 1055 have 2 duplicate diffs(osu!api ERROR), after deleting these diffs, now I have 57912 maps too, and I more and more believe that the EXACT NUMBER in standard ranked maps in 2007-2018 is 57912 (15694 sets), you can recheck it whenever you have time.

I can post two numbers here(only for standard):
The number of sets that can't be downloaded ONLINE:260 sets
The number of APPROVED maps:395 maps
Also make some contrution to this project xd.

By the way ,the last set in 2018 is 754302 right?(With UTC+4)

I downloaded ALL STANDARD RANKED MAPS now, and the newest number of maps is 74533,(19998 sets ,last set is 1260377)

RAR is just popular because it doesn't charge you after your trial period has ended. And there are many options out there that is actually free and open-source. Few examples below, in my osu! forum signature.
And RAR is only better at recovery record thingy, compression ratio and extracting time, meh, zstd or lzma2 is superior.

EDIT: Uploaded *.7z files for 2020-11 (temp, until Elessey uploads), will need below programs to extract.

I'm going to check the number of ranked standard maps in 2007-2020 when 2020 is over.
And if I get the right time, I can check if the number of maps that I have is same as yours.

Elessey is living in France, so UTC+2 from 02:00 AM on the last Sunday of March until 03:00 am on the last Sunday of October (for 2020, it's from March 29 to October 25). And the rest will be UTC+1.
And it will be considered at the time he/she made the packs, not the month packs themselves.

For example:
The 2020 Jan-March is UTC+2, because it was made in April, although Jan-Feb isn't affected by CEST.
The October packs is UTC+1, because it was made in November.

Well, I currently have (all ranked maps at the time I reply this, the latest ranked ones), I have 75307 from standard.

But you can be sure that by the end of 2020, we'd be using UTC+1, so just calc all the maps before the 2020-Dec-31 23:00 PM (UTC) and it would be fine.

Maybe I have missed some beatmaps, or it wasn't updated (because osu! doesn't load ranked status in background, you have to actually select each beatmaps in Song Select for it to load)
At the time this one is the latest ranked, with Group By "Ranked Status" and typing "mode=osu" in-game, I got 75386 ranked and 2079 loved (from 98097/5034 total, and 26474 folders (mapsets) in "osu!\Songs").

And this post was mainly used for error problems, so to avoid email/push notifications for anyone who are currently subscribing this thread, I suggest bringing this conversation into Elessey's Discord Server Eclipse Lounge.

IIRC, theme packs can be done with any modes, just the challenge packs are STD-only, and some Hush-Hush medals are also STD-only (or multi-modes, but each mode has a different requirement).

A w przypadku plików torrentowych z lat 2007-2018, Elessey też ich nie wysiewa.
W przypadku pakietów na lata 2019-2020, można je pobrać tylko z łącza Google Drive lub łącza OneDrive w oryginalnym poście.
Przepraszam, jeśli są tu jakieś błędy gramatyczne, albo mylące zwroty, korzystam z tłumacza maszynowego.

I'm getting the maps from Google Drive, but 2018 std maps and every one before that are locked because there was too much downloads. Anybody know how to unlock that?
I tried to do the copy technique but it won't seem to work..

Hello guys, I have a question: where I can find torrents for 2019 and 2020 maps? In the torrents folder I see only 2018 and earlier maps. I would download from Google, but my network is not stable enough: download just drops and doesn't allow to continue from that point, only try to re-download which also then fails due to network. And sadly I can't do anything about that :( The torrents are my only hope. Thx in advance.

There are no torrent for 2019-2020, and barely anyone seeding 2007-2018 atm.
You can try using Download Manager such as JDownloader 2 for the "continually downloads from interruptions".

Atm, I don't know anything else besides the copy technique, maybe you have to wait. If that's the case, sorry. But you can try the OneDrive mirror.
And about the copy technique, you can't download the file right away (unless the files are kinda small), you have to wait a bit until you can download from your Drive (estimated time kinda ~ the time you copy+paste a file with the same size), it's only a shortcut to the original files at the time you just hit "Make a copy".
You can also try Make a copy to your drive, but not downloading from there, but using apps like Google Drive Desktop, rclone, ... to sync it to your computer.

When downloading on google drive to get the latest packs it says failed-network error every single time. I have searched up the problem and tried every solution to no avail. Anyone else have this problem?

Edit: I have attempted copying it into my drive, but it ends up with the same error when downloading the .rar file for 2020-01. I also tried using the built in zip extractor of google drive as a last attempt and it gives the error code unknown error which gets me nowhere.

yeah, now i have 200gb of osu maps, and my laptop has only 300 gb, so i guess i have to delete some other games

For the error when you downloaded the file, I have no idea how to help you, maybe try downloading in the OneDrive mirror or wait another time?

About the builtin zip extractor, RAR is a proprietary format of RARLab, Zip doesn't know how to read it, so of course it will return "Unknown".

There are no plan for that atm, iirc, at least until Elessey starts adding/using a public tracker(s).

I've checked by opening the OneDrive in a Private Windows, yeah, it doesn't work.
I've check permissions settings in that folder, seems normal. So it's probably OneDrive's faults.

I'll upload the 2021 maps on Google Drive/MEGA/Mediafire soon.

Edit: Update 2021 maps in this link. Notice that this is just a temp packs and will be replaced by Elessey packs in the future for consistency.

i just wanted to say massive thanks to this,i curently play on 8k cause it naturaly improves 6k and 4k, and i love the dificulty, and the ranked maps(on osu) are so few it hurts, this pack has alot of new (hidden?) ones, not sure why they dont show up on the beatmaps listing, either way thanks

Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know that I have been taking a break from this project hence the lack of uploads for 2021 from my part.
I am not sure when I will resume the uploads.

Between 8 and 9 GB for torrents (2013-2018)
You can approximately add 1.5-2 GB per year

Type in the search "mode=m key=7" then sort by no grouping. After that, right click any map and select "delete all visible beatmaps"

For anyone wondering why you can't access to my 2021 maps drive link.
I am sorry for your inconvenience, Google striked that account.
It would take a lil' bit of time to reupload again (I still keep 2021 ranked in local (and 2021 loved only)).
For older loved maps or FA map packs, will take quite some time to collect and pack again. Luck to FA maps players, you have a category in the beatmap search filter now.

Hello everyone!

Long time no see... I am back to continue this project with a few updates :

I will no longer use Google Drive (I've ended my subscription). All the packs will be removed soon.

We will be using torrents again. Links will be uploaded soon on the OP.

2021 packs won't be here for the moment. The priority will be to get the 2007-2020 packs going.

That's about it, more info to come later regarding the torrents.

All beatmap packs have been removed from Google Drive.

But you can download them via torrent. The files are in this folder.
