Yeah I'm definitely not the person you'd want to get anatomy references from, trust meLoginer wrote:

I dunno, you seem like the type of person who'd have a detailed knowledge of female anatomy, what with your large collection of reference pictures...awp wrote:

That's pretty much what the original chin looked like, and people complained about how it didn't look like Chibi-Pippi/Sarumaru's Pippi, so I'm not too sure about making it so pointy. I'll try to get rid of the chubby look, though.awp wrote:
The chin needs more pointing; it's too rounded right now and we're shooting for an anime-esque look, as oppose to a chubby kid look (see the blue outlines at the bottom. On the left is the original (current) shape, on the right is a more approximate shape (I think it might be too narrow down the face though).
I thought I already fixed them. D:awp wrote:
I hope you know how to fix the bangs because I'm a tad clueless
I tried to clean up the sounds from their originals with Audacity. The original recordings were with a webcam mic, so there was a lot of noise to remove. That may account for some of the deficiencies in recording.awp wrote:
Listening through them again, the only other comment that comes to mind is that, while they sound well recorded, they sound a bit 128kbps-y. And lo and behold, bitrate: 128kbps ={
I think it's quite good, though.
Also, wait, there was another voice posting? I think I missed that.
If you know anyone that has Rock Band/Guitar Hero: World Tour, the microphone that comes with those is just a rebranded Logitech microphone, so those should work in your computer and will probably be better than the one built into your webcam. As far as software, I'd recommend Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/Hiryuu wrote:
And as far as the 128kbps sound recording, if you know another sound device I can get (I don't have a very well off mic at hand here, since I'm in college dorms right now haha) for recording via the computer, could you tell me please? Thanks!
Watch how you speak 5ku112. You are >-< this close to being permanently banned. I won't stand for osu! players saying crap like this. Learn to respect people's feelings before you post again.5ku112 wrote:
Well sorry that you didnt get the part Hiryuu even though nobody really paid attention
THIS THREAD EXISTS ALREADY and you'd know if you paid more attentionHiryuu wrote:
awp is inside this post and he says: Check out this post for the download - we might also wish to move the VA discussions there, too. This thread is forcriticizing Lolginer endlesslydiscussion on model development exclusively I suppose?
I'm right here, but I don't have much to say about the VA samples (other than a "We did it" at the end of the song being a bad idea IMO), and I can't model right now (that HDD is unplugged), so I'm just lurking.awp wrote:
And where are Lolginer and Loofah =(
I say, ignore the competition (and put 5ku112 on your ignore list) and keep trying, unless the majority say otherwise. No one worth mentioning has said anything bad about you or your VA samples.Hiryuu wrote:
Naw, I drop out, it's all good okay? I was really happy about working with you guys and was super enthusiastic, but then I just felt like it didn't matter anymore. Either way, Rina-chan can have it. I wouldn't make the cut anyway, I'm not experienced. Thanks again though
Fine, but it's full of mixed tris/quads, and I haven't removed any unnecessary geometry from the hair yet.awp wrote:
I wanna take a closer look at the muscle definition and overall structure of the skull if I can. Are you able to save the head as a .blend file? If not, I might be able to read a .3ds (import recognizes them, but I'm not sure which versions are supported). I've been doing a bit of cranial modeling lately and I think it'd be easier for me to attack this thing if I could see it from whatever angle and magnification I need.

what I've found helps for making them look pretty, is using edge loops.
granted the head below needs some major work, the face does look pretty doesn't it?
I don't really see a change; lolginer just hasn't yet put proper eyebrows/eyelashes on the new head model yet.Larto wrote:
I believe especially the change of the eyes helped to make her look more realistic and adorable ;P
I mean the eyes are smaller now. It looks lots better. Pippi looks kinda frightening in Loginer's last model. The eyes are giant there.awp wrote:

Hi folks!
Well, I've been away from all the osu stuff recently mainly because I have been busy with a LOT of crap. My own projects, making preparations to leave the country, etc, etc.
Anyway! I noticed that in osu the the chibi Pippi I drew is being used for the 30+ combo count. Well, I decided to make a specific image for the combo thingy: This image should be ready to use straight away.
