Because they CAN ban cheaters, not they SHOULD ban cheaters.
You don't need 'definite proof' for things like constant 477rpm spinning, when you watch some of the replays on maps like this (http://osu.ppy.sh/b/52922&m=0) where people are spinning in squares and shit it can't be legit. Don't give me that "it's just because they play with higher mouse sensi", because even with high sensitivity you still can't spin perfect squares, and I mean perfect fucking squares.JesusYamato wrote:
More like because they have no definite proof.
But for multiaccounting and whatnot it takes more time I guess? Although some of the reports have been untouched over 6 months, and some of them are damn obvious.
That would be more believable if he actually starred any of those maps where he "FLed before they were ranked". If you liked a map and FLed it to death before it gets ranked, wouldn't you want it to get ranked faster thus starring the map?JesusYamato wrote:
You know, some people "drill" maps before they get ranked, when they're still pending. Maybe that's his case too?
I wouldn't be sure about that. All we know is that peppy's anti-cheating system supposedly sends the list of processes when a score is submitted and it can tell if there was any change done to the game's DLL, if peppy's system was really THAT flawless, there would be no more spin macroers like they are still rampant nowadays. So I'm assuming that it can't detect people that record their plays and run the macro on FL/HD either.KRZY wrote:
Also, if he is a cheater, peppy would have found out in his two mass-purging of cheaters, especially if a player is someone as high profile as he is. Don't you think?
