I met with my old friend from osu! and we were reminding ourselves how the game looked like back then, a few years ago. During that time we talked about thelewa. Watched replays of some of his scores, talked about his rivarly with Cookiezi, discussed how amazing of a player he is...

...was. Truly devastating to hear that he's not with us anymore. Always been an inspiration to me as an accuracy player. Wish I could get to know him better as a person rather than an avatar in a video game, but apparently this is not possible anymore.

Wishing you all the best on the other side, man. Rest in peace.

Found this out through Twitter, rushed to get my word in. I frequently talked to lewa even before he became one of the strongest players of his time. I’ll never forget the fun times we had together. Rest in peace man, I enjoyed every minute of your company.

I really love Nanahira. Like, a lot. Like, a whole lot. You have no idea. I love her so much that it is inexplicable, and I'm ninety-nine percent sure that I have an unhealthy obsession. I will never get tired of listening that sweet, angelic voice of hers. It is my life goal to meet up her with her in real life and just say hello to her. I fall asleep at night dreaming of her holding a personal concert for me, and then she would be sorry tired that she comes and cuddles up to me while we sleep together. If I could just hold her hand for a brief moment, I could die happy. If given the opportunity, I would lightly nibble on her ear just to hear what kind of sweet moans she would let out. Then, I would hug her while she clings to my body hoping that I would stop, but I only continue as she moans louder and louder. I I would give up almost anything just for her to look in my general direction. No matter what I do, I am constantly thinking of her. When I wake up, she is the first thing on my mind. When I go to [size=50]school, I can only focus on her. When I go come home, I go on the computer so that I can listen to her beautiful voice. When I go to sleep, I dream of her and I living a happy life together. She is my pride, passion, and joy. If she were to call me "Onii-chan," I would probably get diabetes from her sweetness and die. I wish for nothing but her happiness. If it were for her, I would give my life without any second thoughts. Without her, my life would serve no purpose. I really love Nanahira.

I still remember the time when I was starting to play osu and I heard someone from Finland was the world #1 player. My reaction was just purely "woah.." since this country doesn't have too high of a population. May you rest in peace Lewa, you are the true legend.

RIP Thelewa.
Though I wasn’t here when he was #1 in his prime, I still have known since 2016 his amazing scores which astounded me. So sad to know he is not with us, I hope everything is fine for his family.

This hurts so much. When I joined, he had barely stopped playing for a while, but I watched so many videos and watched so many of his plays. He was the accuracy god for the meta before Bikko. I've read so many of his forum posts, and genuinely appreciated them.

I've been playing for less than a year and I've never even seen him, but hearing about him from time to time, about how good he was and that he was able to do it all trough hard work and not talent always made me smile and try harder. Hearing this, I feel awful. Rest In Piece dude, you not only were, but still are a legend.

I remember watching almost every stream Lewa did back in 2013-2014. He was one of the most entertaining osu! streamers back then. He was really a funny guy, and his stream was a place you could come and just feel welcomed. Even though I never got the chance to talk to him, and tell him all of this, I really hope he knew what his stream and him as a person ment to the osu!community. I also wish he could've seen all of these messages being written about him, he would've deserved to know. It's sad and unfair that this has to happen at such a young age, but I hope he is happy now. Thanks for everything you did for us, and also for the osu! game.

I'm not gonna say anything really innovative, the others covered pretty much everything. thelewa has always been my favorite accuracy player, it's because of him that I am so hard on myself when my accuracy drops below 99%. His streams were always entertaining to watch and his ask.fm was always fun to read. I remember how happy he was when he briefly became #1 back in 2014. It actually blows my mind that some people don't know who he is. For me, he will always be an osu legend, one of my idols in the game, an amazing player and a genuinely funny person.

He is definitely in a better place, but it's still heartbreaking that he is not here with us.

I haven't talked to him a lot, but knowing what influence he had on this community, how many people have looked up to him as a person and as a player it's really hard to take these kind of news and it's devastating to see him go this early..

It's deeply saddening to read what happened to thelewa. I wasn't anybody back when he was active but even in my early days of playing osu I knew of him and many of his incredible plays. He always seemed like a fun loving guy and someone who cared deeply about both the game and its community. This is a devastating loss; may he rest in peace.

thelewa was someone who i'd love to have gotten to meet
his personality which i loved, his skill and achievements made him an idol to me and he definitely has influenced me at least a little bit.

sad to see him go, i wish i was around back then to watch his streams.

thelewa was one of the things that kept by day going bright and in high-spirits. I would take part watching his streams in a period where my own mental health was terrible and that by itself was just so cheerful to the point where I would almost every time forget about my own problems. Fast forward and I had someone who I'd sporadically talk to and he was a gem. He could get along with essentially anyone and everyone regardless of how good or bad in the context of the game the person was. He was having fun and didn't mind sharing a good chunk of that fun with other people.

I am heartbroken that this was the end, but I am thankful for all the great moments involving him. Take his healthy period and you have a role model for anyone who strive to become something in this game or simply who wants to be a great friend.

I hope his family does well and is proud of how amazing of a person he was. Let this guy be eternal

lewa was a huge inspiration to me. His streams were so much fun to watch and his ask.fm page was always a great read. I never talked to him personally, a few words in #finnish is all we exchanged, but he seemed like, and was a great person all around.
