Rest in peace Lewa, definitely one of my favorite entertainers from when I started osu. Really hard to believe he's gone.
Although I never really got to talk with the guy, he’s always been an inspiration for me and so many others throughout the years. My deepest condolences, he deserved better than this.

Rest in peace, you were a really nice guy.
This is so sad for me personally. He was the biggest inspiration and benchmark for me back when I started in early 2014 when he was at the top and even still to this day. His streams were the most entertaining out of every other person I have watched and I always tuned in when he went live. I always hoped that he came back when he took long breaks from the game and when he did it made me so happy and filled me with motivation to go play more and try to become as good as him some day. I hoped that I could have gotten to talk with him more and get to know him better since he had some similar ideals as I did and I admired his intelligence, but in the end I wasn't able to. He will always continue to inspire me as a player and I will never forget who he was as a person.

What he left is what he gave us to remember him by. Though he may be gone, what he left behind for us to remember will allow him to live on forever in our memories.

thelewa was the most accurate player back in the time, setting scores Cookiezi himself was struggling to beat and was inspiration for every HDHR player back in the day.
Not many people were able to play HR yet thelewa was ahead of modern times too, he was just amazing as a player.
I want also to add that he was probably the most entertaining osu! streamer I ever watched, he was constantly bringing out arguments to discuss about with his chat, instead of just playing.

I'm not going to lie and say that we were the closest of friends, but I have fond memories of the few times we spent talking together. It's unfortunate now to realize that I'll never be able to make any more memories with him.

I guess im not at a point where lewa was, but i can only imagine him watching this film dude... Watched it just a week ago, and it was actually more depressive for me than i thought it would be. Stay Strong guys ! You did your best, you just cant control the life of others !

can't believe i used to watch your streams not that long ago, and you're no longer here. was nice to see you have such an influential community presence when at the time it was it was much rarer. seriously one of the greatest community members of your time. we always tried to have your back, it must have been so hard man. i hope you find peace, you were dealt such a shitty hand. rest in peace
