please let me know if there is anything wrong with my mapProtastic101 wrote:
sorry for the late mod, but i just have a few minor things
0:25:749 LR4_BassKickReverbXD.wav@65% - tbh, I would have preferred this be moved onto a note like 00:25:749 (25749|5,25749|1) - so it plays when the player hits the note as opposed to giving feedback despite no player input fixed
0:59:631 LR4_BassKickReverbXD.wav@65% - ^ ^
00:34:219 (34219|5) - shouldn't this be a sample imported soft-hitwhistle3 at 30% vol similar to 00:31:396 (31396|4) - ? hmm, ok i change it
00:41:984 (41984|6) - Missing clap? This section has claps on the second beat of every measure except for this one which feels a little inconsistent
ok add clap
01:15:160 (75160|3) - More of a nitpick, but I'd import this at 80% to match the double hitsound volume of stuff like 01:10:925 (70925|2,70925|6) -
[fixed hitsound to 80%]
01:13:749 (73749|4,73749|5) - and so on ^
01:15:866 (75866|0,76219|1) - ^ ^
01:27:866 - For this build up, I'd try to keep the hs volumes consistent, at least with the whistles since the constant wavering between quiet and loud is a bit disturbing. Basically remove the hitsounds on places such as 01:28:043 (88043|4,88396|1,88749|2,89102|1,89455|3,89808|3,90160|2,90513|1,90778|5,90866|1,91043|5,91484|4,91572|1,91749|5,91925|1,92102|5) - . P much just needs to have a bit more volume consistency. fixed
01:50:455 - ^ ^
01:58:572 (118572|1,118572|0,118572|4) - There's one too many finishes here. Remove one for volume consistency ok i check this
02:28:572 (148572|6) - Missing whistle? Actually, for this entire burst, I feel like it's not really consistent with other 1/4 jumps you've done where you used two whistles instead of one, like at 01:51:866 - check
02:35:631 (155631|3) - Similarly, this should be a whistle so there's two whistles on the chord ^
02:35:984 (155984|5,156337|2,156690|0,157043|0,157396|6,157749|4,158102|5) - ^ ^
02:38:455 - I think double hitsounds are fine, but putting four of the same sample onto one chord creates the same problem I mentioned earlier about the oddness of constantly shifting between a quiet and loud sample. fixed
02:51:866 (171866|3,171866|1) - I think this is supposed to be soft sampleset? I don't really see how suddenly changing the sampleset helps here since the music doesn't change drastically or have any added sounds. fixed
02:58:219 - Again, volume consistency like I mentioned previously at 02:28:572 (148572|6) - ok add hit sound
03:02:808 (182808|6) - Seems odd to leave out the soft-hitwhistle3 here when listening to the hitsounds. I'd include it since I can't really tell if there's a different sound or something there to warrant it. ^
03:47:278 (227278|6,227322|5,227366|4,227410|3,227455|0,227499|1,227543|2,227587|3) - I would completely exclude the whistles here since the music has them fade to an almost inaudible volume. Similarly, right before that, I would make the whistles on 03:46:925 fixed(226925|1,226969|2,227013|3,227058|4,227102|5,227146|6,227190|2,227234|1) - a lower volume, such as 20% or so. add
04:00:337 (240337|1) - Just a minor thing, but you could consider adding a soft-hitfinish here that's from the default sampleset to act as a crash
umm..i don't understand
04:22:925 - I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but it seems like you've flipped the order of the finishes and claps. The transition going into it sounds a bit unnatural since the player's used to hearing clap - finish - clap - finish rather than clap - finish - clap - finish - finish. I think in this case you should put the finishes on the first and third downbeat like 04:22:925 (262925|1,262925|0,263631|1,263631|4) - onto the second and fourth downbeats such as at 04:23:278 (263278|2,263278|1,263984|5,263984|4) - and vice versa for the claps. fixed
Overall really interesting map. I love how much attention you put into making the hitsounds feel like they're part of the song and stand out even in places where the music may not have them. Great creative rhythms!
thx for recheckProtastic101 wrote:
recheck
01:21:866 (81866|1) - needs to be imported at 80% for consistency with the other double hs fixed
01:49:749 (109749|0,109837|1,109925|2) - These should either be removed so there's only one hitclap on each chord, or 01:49:219 ok delete clap sound(109219|4,109308|4,109572|2,109660|2) - imporrted at 80%
01:10:175 - SV wise, this should be 4x to average to 1.0x which is consistent with the overall SV average of the section beforehand. If you don't want such a large value, moving the SV to 01:10:131 - and using 2.4x instead to average might be a little easier. delete SV
01:27:602 - This really isnt that important, but rounding wise, this should be 0.77x ok fixed
01:33:513 - Hm, I think you're trying to do a bump SV here, though it feels a bit unnatural to catch due to the fact that it only has the speed up portion of it and not the slowdown. Might also extend it across the LN, like so:01:44:808 - 02:41:278 - 02:52:925 - Same as above
- 01:33:513 - 1.5x
- 01:33:558 - 0.83x
- 01:33:690 - 1.0x
that's not too bad but i changed SV like that
01:33:513 - 1.4 01:33:572 - 0.9 01:33:631 - 0.7 01:33:690 - 1.0 / 01:44:808 - = same
02:41:278 - 1.6 02:41:337 - 0.8 02:41:396 - 0.6 02:41:455 - 1.0 / 02:52:925 - = same
01:56:013 - Should be 1.99x to average properly to 1.0x like the rest of the section i changed SV 01:55:749 - 0.75 01:56:013 - 1.75
02:13:043 - This green line doesn't actually do anything so you can remove it. ok
02:16:043 - 02:16:308 - 02:16:572 - 02:16:925 - Should be 1.11x to average, or the 0.89x should become 0.78x i changed SV
02:15:866 - 1.6 02:15:955 - 0.6 02:16:043 - 0.8 02:16:131 - 1.0 and other part is the same 02:16:219 - ~ 02:16:352 - / 02:16:396 - ~ 02:16:660 - / 02:16:749 - ~ 02:17:102 -
3:3:866 LR3_Snare FCSRL.wav@65% - Might be better to move this onto one of the notes at 03:03:866 (183866|4,183866|5,183866|1,183866|2) - for actual player feedback ok i fixed
04:31:396 - Can delete this green line since it doesn't do anything (doesnt change vol or sv) ok

Let me take some issues for this[Solitude]
- 00:13:043 - 00:14:455 - This part should be same with 00:07:396 - 00:08:808 - , but you made it just normal structure as 00:15:866 - 00:17:278 - , two type of LNs are placed at each col continually. and you should add one note more at 00:14:278 - as other part did.
00:13:043 - 00:14:45 applied to the part ( 00:07:396 - 00:08:808 )- 00:15:690 - I can't find why it is a void space. 00:07:219 (7219|1) - , 00:10:043 (10043|4) - , 00:12:866 (12866|4) - has each note.
00:15:690 ok i check this sound. added note- 00:17:102 - You used LN at this voice effect like 00:11:455 (11455|3) - , 00:08:631 (8631|2) - , 00:05:808 (5808|1) - , but didn't for this part. If it's not for voice effect, what's it for?
that is my miss. i add LN note- 00:22:749 - Same issue with 00:17:102 -
^- 01:43:043 (103043|5,103219|5) - If you wanna make this part smoother, avoid the same col. For melody progress, just another pitch, it has no clue to use same col, even the space is enough to rearrange it. col 4 is better.
i changed this same col.- 01:46:043 (106043|4) - Only this part has one note more than others, you should remove it.
ok, i check this.- 01:48:690 - 01:49:043 - Any reason to make the LN at same col? 01:48:690 (108690|6,108866|6) - not same pitch, you didn't make it before, 01:45:866 - 01:46:219 - for example.
ok,i chaned 01:48:690 (108690|6,108690|5) - this col. ->01:48:690 (108690|4,108690|3) -- 01:52:572 - 01:53:278 - It has 1/8 sound. I recommend to use it, just making same with before 1/4 part is not good and looks questionable. You already use 1/8 pattern for this map so this should be same.
yeah, i apply 1/8 snap- 02:19:043 - 02:20:808 - You focused on 1/1 so did triple rather than drum, but 02:23:631 - 02:24:337 - you put triple at drum & vocal part. For consistency and focus, I recommend to change it as them. You should check these part 02:18:690 - 02:35:631 - all.
ok i fixed this part. please check it- 03:00:337 - 03:01:043 - It has 1/8 too.
check- 03:26:455 - 03:37:749 - I have two concern about this part.
1. Distribution of note amount
when I saw 03:26:455 - 03:26:984 - first, I think that there is one note for melody and drum, so 03:26:631 (206631|3,206631|1) - is double and 03:26:719 (206719|5,206896|3) - they have one note each. but 03:27:249 (207249|5) - it's not, even though it has melody & drum. it makes that part ambiguous thing,
just there are some notes on stream. My concern can be looked too strictly, but consistency is really a thing that should be followed tho.
ok, i fixed. please check this
2. Questionable LN concept
03:28:572 - 03:29:278 - and 03:31:396 - 03:32:102 - have same melody progress but different drum structure. However, for pattern concept, I can't find a reasonable difference of both structures, there is a triple 03:31:396 - and 03:31:660 - single only I can find, yeah and difference of LN length that is just placed for noodle hole. Make them same structure or focus on drum also plz, it's for your concept.
^- 04:31:396 - only 1/8 LN of overall chart, why should it be LN for 1/8 roll chart? I recommend to change the LN length to 1/4 or make 04:31:043 - 04:31:396 - them all rice notes.
i don't want to change that. because i want to express an going up sound
Sexy concept, keep it up!
