very helpful for me to review my hitsound policyUmo- wrote:
hi

[NM]00:13:452 (13452|2) - this should be a LN like other notes[HD]
00:13:890 (13890|1) - ^
00:27:905 (27905|2) - ^
great point,
I think it's due to forgetting the two notes
00:13:233 (13233|1)
00:27:248 (27248|1)
and the synth sounds not that long here(compared to previous part)
00:32:503 (32503|3,32503|0) - remove clap from one of those notes because 1 in enough
00:33:160 (33160|0,33160|1) - ^
remove all notes that have double hitsounds
i don't know whether it is too loud or not, since i feel it's a bit quiet now.
waiting for further mods.
or maybe it's not the problem of volume?
but triple hitsounds on finishes are fixed
00:41:262 - I belive you missed a note here
I can't hear a hi-hat sound there
01:11:919 - missed a double here
01:15:423 - ^
01:18:927 - 01:29:438 - 01:30:533 - ^ and so on
true, but i think it is too hard for 1.5* to hit so much objects while holding.
so finally i choose to follow only snares here now.00:27:467 (27467|0,27905|2) - these should be LN like other notesGood Luck!
same as NM
00:43:014 - it would be nice if you changed the pattern here, change it to 232323 and dont repeate 121212 pattern since it can be a little boring
00:46:518 - same here but change to 14141414
fixed
00:57:029 - could rearange some notes so that they are not same as in EZ difficulty
i don't know which it's better,
try to follow everything in easy diff for consistency,
or try to rearrange everything for variation.
at least i think i'm a believer in consistency, if it doesn't break the ranking rules
01:07:540 - could map hihats here every 1/2
true.but then the SVs will make it too hard to play.
01:07:540 - I didn't check if you did but make sure that you average your SVs
here is the formulaclickbut you can use http://zardoru.github.io/sv-tools/ but I'm not sure if it works lol• Y = average of an SV sequence
• S1 = Starting SV value (the one you choose)
• S2 = Second SV value to make the sequence average 1x
• U = Units (counted by snaps)
• U1 = Total number of units
• U2 = Remaining number of units
Here are two equations you’ll probably end up using a lot:
• Finding average SV of a sequence when given both values
(S1 × U + S2 × U) ÷ U1 = Y
• Finding S2 when given the average SV, U1, and S1
(U1 – S1) ÷ U2 = Y
since i use a concept of how to map SVs in StepMania
expand the two white snaps to three white snaps by 1.5SV
shrink the two white snaps to one white snap by 0.5SV
then it will remain 4 white snaps in total, keeping the snaps going properly.
this may be another way to check easy SVs for ppl who are bad at arithmetic like me
01:10:496 (70496|2,70606|1) - ctrl+j. feels better while playing imo
fixed
01:14:109 (74109|0,74547|0) - this shouldn't be in same column since they are not the same pitch, same applys for other ones
i think the synths are.
but it's true that there are guitars in different pitch
01:22:430 (82430|3) - I belive this should be double
same as normal, i double them for snares,
but i think this is a kick or something i can't describe.
thank you so much
