[Easy]
  1. 00:06:527 (6527|0,6850|3,7172|2,7495|0) - Those 4 notes should mirror the 4 previous ones considering how the pitch evolves in the opposite way. If you want to push this idea to the next level you can also make it go 4 3 2 1 1 2 3 4 to imitate playing a piano like you did at 00:15:559 (15559|3,15882|2,16205|1,16527|0).
  2. 00:37:495 (37495|0,37817|3,38140|2,38463|0) - ^
  3. 00:18:785 (18785|3) - There should be a note at the end of this LN just like there is on the one before for consistency.
  4. 00:49:753 (49753|3) - ^ Applied above
  5. 00:20:721 (20721|3) - Double here ? 1/2 repeat conveys the idea that it's the same sound but not the overlapping of the 2 instruments. i dunno, maybe i keep it single, bcus 00:21:366 - has higher sound than that
  6. 00:51:688 (51688|0) - ^
  7. 00:56:850 (56850|2) -

Feel free to explain if I just didn't get what you were going for. gl

Even if it only appears 3 times, they already stand out a lot by being doubles so no need for them to be exactly the same. well, there's no need for them to be different either, as it doesn't make the map more interesting nor challenging in any way. If it's mapped the same however, it would stand out much more.

@Muu kayaknya maksud Slaerd itu note numpuk yang kayak gini 00:06:850 (6850|3,7172|3) - . Yang di 00:07:172 (7172|1,7495|0) - ga numpuk, jadi beda sendiri.

As requested in Crumpey's Mod Queue!

Easy
00:29:108 (29108|2,29753|3) - move to cols 2/3
00:30:398 (30398|0) - move to col 4, makes more sense for the music

well refined diff, pretty good to see

Eraser's Normal
00:01:366 (1366|0,1527|2,1850|2) - in regards to how the song sounds, this looks bad, not sure if it needs changing but it seems a lil out of place.

so okay, not gunna beat around the bush, sections look copy pasted from other diffs of the song (this isnt the first time i've seen you do this and im sure you know this)

Screenshot is of Eraser's Normal compared to Easy

00:10:076 - map this sound

00:20:398 (20398|0) - col 2 for pr

00:23:624 (23624|1,23785|1,23946|2,24269|1,24430|2,24753|2) - overusing cols 2/3 here, spread them out a bit

00:51:043 (51043|1,51366|0) - move to cols 2/3

00:55:721 (55721|2,55882|3,56205|1) - control+h, after that move 00:56:205 (56205|1) - to col 1
00:56:527 (56527|3) - move to col 3
00:56:850 (56850|1) - possibly move to col 4, not that big of a deal but i think its probably better

im not sure to what to say about this diff, im dissapointed to see more copy and paste from you.
I feel that this diff would need the most work done to it

muu's Hard
00:09:430 (9430|1) - move to col 3
00:09:592 (9592|2) - move to col 2, helps with flow

00:17:495 (17495|0) - move to col 2
00:17:817 (17817|1) - move to col 1, this feels funner to play for me

00:32:817 (32817|2) - move to col 3

00:34:592 (34592|2,34592|0,34753|2) - you use this and it represents a low sound, thats fine, but you use this 00:35:237 (35237|2,35237|1,35398|1) - to represent a higher sound?? move these into cols 3/4

00:35:882 - I Understand not much can really be done to this section, and its objectively fine, i just feel that the patterns are a bit repetitive

00:40:559 (40559|1,40721|3) - in regards to pitch relevency, these are backwards, control + J fixes that, but look for other solutions to

This diff feels pretty good, no major faults that i could find

Overall the mania diffs seem pretty good, although i dont think theyre ready quite yet (see my comments at the end of each box)

Pm me any questions you might have, or if you dont understand something
Caput Mortuum
Look pal, regarding the copy pasted section, it's not copy pasted. In fact, I never copy pasted from any people, it just happened to look similar.

Why don't I change it then?
1. It's the best way to map it. Or are you telling me to map that descending-ascending section as 1324 instead of 4321 because it happened to look similar to other diffs?
2. The screenshot you provided is nowhere near copy pasted, even in terms of looks.

This is starting to tick me off. I'll see the rest of your mod later.

Its clearly control+H'd i'm not the only one who picked up on this. '
'it happened to look similar' is not a reason, nor is it an excuse

I get that the map is hard to make it play different, but things like this are pretty disappointing to come to.
Caput Mortuum
No, I didn't ctrl+H that. It was originally 43211234, but I had to improvise because of the object before the section.
And yes, it is an excuse. You can't lynch me because some object is in some column in a specific timeframe by accident.

Even IF I did ctrl+H'd it, so what? It looks different and plays differently from the other one, so what's the problem here?
Even IF I mapped it using the same pattern as in easy, so what? People mostly only play the diff on their skill level. They won't play the higher diff until some time. They won't notice some similarity in a specific and negligible section. Even if they do, do you really think they will care? I don't think so.

If "b-b-but doing that is not creative!" is your argument, then you won't hear any more serious argument from me to you, because you can't possibly call placing ONE brick per line creative.

the final call is, whether you did copy paste or not doesn't bother me, the fact that its an exact control+h of the other diff you didn't create is what bothers me, coincidental or not
Caput Mortuum
An exact ctrl+H would be 4321 1234.
DDMythical
you moved one fucking note in it
Caput Mortuum
Like I said before- it's a similarity in a very specific and negligible section. If I just switched that section with the other similar section, this argument would've never happened.

why dont you? just move the notes so its not the same, its a quick fix.
Caput Mortuum
Ok, I should move the part I "copied" to appear later.
Why are you even arguing.
AyeAries
oh no :(
DDMythical
dumb stupid argument

mirroring another chart, editing it slightly and then calling it your own is fucking plagarism and scummy as fuck

what you have here is a mirror of another difficulty

you've also done this on other charts you've gd'd on

not only that but the things you've moved in the copy and paste actually ruin the PR the original difficulty was going for so basically you're showing your incompetence at even editing a mirrored chart

as for the actual set owner here:

I recommend you actually remove his difficulty and do an NM yourself. Don't give 'chart-stealers' like this exposure.
Caput Mortuum
Have it come to your mind that I did it first? I didn't brought it up because I don't really care.

Why you are arguing right now is just something created by a mapper's ego. It's only one part, which consists of exclusively singles. It doesn't affect the gameplay, it doesn't affect the quality, you're just arguing because something hurts your "pride" as a mapper. Plagiarism? I guess making a reverting stair is plagiarism now.
DDMythical
you're right

it's just my ego that is causing every chart of yours to be a mirror of someone elses difficulty on a set

first time i just passed it off as a co-incidence but this is like the 3rd/4th time now

seriously

Regarding the "plagiarism"

if you have multiple people calling you out for "copying" another diff, regardless if you actually did or not, the fact that it's similar enough to something else that people think you're plagiarizing is reason enough to change it.

It's not the intent that matters, it's the end result. I think you should alter it enough so that all parties are happy.
Caput Mortuum
Y'know, calling it plagiarism when it's just a flipping reverting stairs (it's even a different kind of stairs) kind of bothers me. But don't worry, I'll change it.

eh, gonna jump on the copy pasta band wagon here. I mean, I've already seen this as a problem with your kano - paranoia map where you copy and pasted from yourself, so Im probably biased when I go into this but w/e, that's irrelevant here

[Eraser's Normal to Easy Comparison]
I already compared this to Muu's diff and while there are some similar parts, 00:00:076 (76|0,398|2,721|3,1366|0,1527|2,1850|2,2334|3,3301|2,10398|1,10721|2,11043|3,12656|3,13301|1,13624|2,14592|3,14753|3,15237|3,17979|3,18463|2,18785|1,18946|0,19269|0,20398|0,20721|0,32011|0,32334|1,32495|2,32817|2,33301|3,33946|1,34269|3,34592|1,34753|1,34914|3,41366|0,41688|1,42011|3,42334|2,42817|3,43140|3,43624|1,45559|3,45721|3,46205|3,47495|0,47656|0,48946|3,49430|2,49753|1,49914|0,50237|0,57495|0,57495|2,58140|1,58140|3,59766|1,59931|1,60096|2,60631|2,60984|2) - being all that I picked out (I tried to exclude stuff that was most likely for PR and just coincidental), a lot of it can simply be chalked up to coincidence due to it being a fairly slow 4k map, but there are still some jarring similarities I feel where it's the same same patterns but with less chords like at 00:32:011 - or 00:41:366 - which are pretty close mirrors of each other. I dunno, most of it is probs a fruitless accusation to be throwing around but eh.I believe the real issue is between the easy and normal instead since they appear closer in rhythm and chord size.

00:04:269 (4269|3,4914|3,5237|0) - P much same as easy, except normal just has an added 1/4 jack (more like 1/2 with the bpm as low as it is)

00:05:559 (5559|2,5882|1,6205|0,6527|3,6850|1,7172|2,7495|3) - I agree with CrumpetFiddler here in that this is just a mirror of the easy but without the 1/2 stack which is correct in terms of PR as the sounds aren't similar. But, this is more correct PR wise as it rolls in the direction of the pitch for most of the time whereas the easy is the opposite (ascending with pitch descends, vice versa). I don't know who did what first, but I would try to vary this just a little to be different from both diffs as even an accidental thing like this could still be a noticeable repetition to a player who goes between diffs. Maybe something like this would work instead, while still keeping to PR? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9626237

00:14:592 (14592|3,15237|3,15559|0) - Mirrors again.
00:19:753 (19753|3,20076|2,20398|0,20721|0) - ^
00:45:559 (45559|3,46205|3,46527|0) - ^ pretty much both you and Poi are guilty of using this same placement all over the map lol

00:47:495 (47495|0,48140|1,48463|2,48946|3,49430|2) - After the first note, these are also mirrored, the difference being that the normal has an extra note at 00:48:624 -

What I find more pressing though is the fact that you copy from yourself, like the transitional measures of 00:20:721 - , 00:51:688 - and 00:56:850 - which are the exact same despite one being in the first half of the song and the second being the last half. I mean, I get that this is pretty easy and meant for lower levelled players, but it's not like the players won't be able to tell they're playing the same thing in the same one minute period of time.

00:00:076 - and 00:31:043 - do have some differences, but also so there's pretty much only the 1/2 only measure that's arranged slightly differently, the 1-3/4-2 is just control H'd
00:10:721 (10721|2,11043|3,11688|1,11850|2,12172|2) - Suppose you could also compare this measure too with the first SS at 00:10:721 (10721|2,11043|3,11688|1,11850|2,12172|2) - since the only different note is the first note and two notes preceding the 1/4 hook

Even if you do argue that you can't really arrange it any differently cause of whatever reason, you should probs still be able to have a different note placement for the majority of both halves of your diff if only to avoid having the player play what is essentially a thirty second map looped twice cause then you're just not adding anything to the player's enjoyment if they just get the same thing rehashed only slightly differently.

Hope this helps in some way(?)

Edit:

I disagree partially with your statement, specifically the fact that you think that if enough people say something, then it should be changed. This is true for a lot of cases, but not always. Intent is important here because with how little there is to map, following pitch is what most people are bound to do, and unless you've got a terrible sense of pitch, most people will hear it and arrange it in a way that looks the same but maybe shifted a column or so to the right, or control H'd to avoid having the map always rolling in the same direction, so it's totally plausible that that's what happened here even if the similarity between note placements suggests otherwise. In this case, maybe Eraser doesn't want to alter his pitch relevancy too much (assuming that's what he did for the majority of the chart), and calling him out as plagiarizing might be a tad bit too harsh given what little he has to work with. Yes, Im basically saying the song is partially to blame. Anyways, I do agree that it should be changed just to avoid any future accusations of plagiarism, but I just dislike the notion that it should be changed because x number of people said so even though it's probably the right thing in this situation.

Ugh, I need to stop posting late at night cause I can't even write coherently.

according to prosheep's mod(suggestion)

yeah somepart have rly simillar pattern, like you mentioned above (also CF told me in discord)
i can say that the melody/flow just go that way, and thats why i mapped it like that, also it changed so many times bcus mod and suggestion i get
i mapped the sound that i feel important or dominant, maybe eraser do the same like i did, and then accidentally we have same pattern (imo)

i'll discuss about this with eraser and muu as well, bcus they have more knowledge about mania mapping etc2
DDMythical
Its not so much you guys its more that this is the 3rd/4th time 'Erasers' Chart has had a significant portion of it mirrored from someone elses chart

This is important as while i have checked a lot of files in my time its not normal for this many similarities to occur consistently throughout someones chart portfolio. also benefit of the doubt that each one of yhe charts 'mirrored' coincidentally has extremely similar layering and pr to a similar difficulty but yknow.

to eraser:
Come on now, something's up. This shouldn't be happening so much so you're obviously doing something. Playing the victim card helps nobody and makes you look like an idiot. Your recent post stating that this was only about your chart here is silly; One of the main reasons behind this shit is that this is a consistent theme within your guest diffs -- A slightly edited mirror of another diff.
Caput Mortuum
Since everyone seems to be convinced that I'm the bad guy here, I won't argue about it anymore, it's tiring.

Had a blackout when writing so I will only give my overall changes here.

@Prot
Don't worry, you probably has the most neutral argument here.

Changed most of the similar sections you provided. Had to sacrifice some pitch relevancy but I hope it's enough to make it a bit different.
I won't change the doubles because I feel making it different is unnecessary, as it won't change anything for the player. It won't be more memorable, it won't be more challenging, it won't be more unique. Thus, I prefer them being the same.

@Crumpet
00:10:076 - I only map the melodies, and 00:23:624 - using only 2 and 3 there is intentional.

Thanks.

Feel free to reject my mods! :)
|1|2|3|4

Easy
00:31:043 - Taking this pattern from left to right again complements the raising tone here 00:28:463 (28463|0,29108|1,29753|2,30398|3) - , just a suggestion, I can't think of much to mod here
Eraser's Normal
00:09:592 (9592|1) - Maybe add a jack on the white tick after this sound. There's a full measure between the two notes so it should be okay as far as density is concerned(?) (maybe)
^ perhaps moving this note to |1| instead of |2|? The sound here is sharp so a column jump like that may complement it well
00:40:559 (40559|1) - Same as first mod
00:48:463 (48463|2,48624|0) - Maybe utilize the same pattern direction as when this sound was last mapped? 00:17:495 (17495|1,17656|2) - (with different column placement of course)
Muu's Hard
00:32:334 (32334|2,32334|3,32495|1,32656|0,32817|1,32979|2) - These sounds form a stair here instead of a split stair like the other instances in the map with these sounds. Just wondering if this was for emphasis since this is near the beginning of the kiai.

Not much for me to point out here either, the patterning is good imo.

Thanks for the request and good luck with your map!

@Muu kayaknya maksud Slaerd itu note numpuk yang kayak gini 00:06:850 (6850|3,7172|3) - . Yang di 00:07:172 (7172|1,7495|0) - ga numpuk, jadi beda sendiri.
Oh gitu.. well itu karena yg sebelumnya pitchnya naik jd kubuat stair gitu sama kombinasi chordnya.. jadi ya begitu.. kalau yg atasnya udah beda pitch.

I'll keep those for note placement, i'm trying my best to make the pattern based on pitch.. also these are already through many mods ;-; sorry hwww

whoa.
it's beautiful.
So, because it's kind of music box song, i'll mainly focused on pitch relevancy here
Feel free to reject this. it's already good i think.
[1|2|3|4]

Easy
  1. 00:06:527 (6527|3) - i suggest move this into column 2 so they don't jack with 00:06:527 (6527|3) -
  2. 00:17:495 (17495|2) - the keysound is a bit off here. Change into F5 instead
  3. 00:18:463 (18463|2) - maybe move this into column 2 to avoid layering?
  4. 00:48:463 (48463|1) - F5 too

Eraser's Normal
  1. 00:00:076 (76|0,1043|1,1366|0) - maybe swap the columns here to follow with the pitch
  2. 00:20:076 (20076|1,20398|2) - might as well ctrl+g this (works well in pitch relevancy)
  3. 00:20:721 (20721|1,20721|0,21366|2,21366|0,22011|3,22011|1,22495|1,22495|2,22817|0,22817|2,23140|0,23140|1) - i think the pattern is too weighted on the left hand. Maybe put 00:23:140 (23140|0) - on column 4
  4. 00:51:688 - same as above
  5. 00:56:850 - same stuff

Muu's Hard
  1. 00:02:979 (2979|3,2979|1,3301|0,3301|2) - make into 12 34 to follow the pitch maybe?
  2. 01:01:160 (61160|0) - make it into LN like 00:24:914 (24914|3) -

i'd like to see this on ranked
good luck
