That is the extent I am willing to mod to, as most of it is just the same kind of mapping, with mostly the same "issues". It's a pretty damn good attempt for a first Wub map though.I don't want to come off as a mean guy or as a soul-crusher, but I think this map is fundamentally badly designed, and would need to be remapped from the ground up. Most of this comes down to how you use concepts, where you use them, et cetera. Despite being someone who has passed a couple of 8* maps, and fc'd several 6* maps, I found it rather surprising that I failed quite early in. I'd ordinarily put this down to me being bad, but it looks more like the map is the issue
00:04:955 (1) - From a design POV, I don't see why this goes into 00:03:340 (2) 's slider body. Moreover, I would have personally used slightly low SV at this start and/or did slider art with 00:03:340 (2) (though the sound it's mapped to does not appear to support slider art :/ ).
00:09:801 (1) - Slightly overlaps with 00:08:878 (4) during fadein/fadeout. Suggest that you avoid doing this, since it can give the impression of a cramped or messy map.
00:28:032 (4) - Try avoiding notes that are "overlapping" with recently faded in/out objects just for visuals. If you want to do this, it's gotta be neater, and in a more consistent way.
00:28:724 (2) - Should also be a linear slider for visual consistency.
00:28:724 (2,3,4) - Visual spacing for these is horrible, and actual spacing isn't the greatest either. Not a fan of the implied and actual movement between 00:28:724 (2,3) .
00:28:955 (3) - Overlaps with 00:27:801 (3) and slightly with 00:28:032 (4) .
Also, consider angular consistency (having the angles, or variations of angles) for sliders and/or jumps when designing your map. It's not as important with Wub maps, but shouldn't be ignored.
00:40:032 (4) - I can barely hear a noise, let alone the hitsounding :/
00:40:263 (5) - Not hearing anything other than the hitsound here
00:40:609 (8) - ^
00:43:032 (1) - With this spinner, I'm still able to hear distinct sounds that are mapped earlier on in this section, so it seems a bit undermapped.
00:46:724 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Try and use consistent rhythms, rather than changing out for so much variation, where there isn't really any in the music.
00:57:801 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - Personally not a fan of this stream-pattern. It feels awfully cramped into just that little area of the screen, even with the varying spacing used. I also don't think the song warrants so much variation in the shape of the stream.
01:03:570 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - Inconsistent spacing between each of the triples :/
01:08:993 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Would have thought this would be larger spacing than 01:08:647 (5,6,7) because of an increase in intensity.
01:10:724 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Looks messy and inconsistent.
01:28:955 (4,5) - Why overlap these like this? looks ugly as is.
01:30:340 (8) - Non-existent hitsounding?
01:32:878 (1) - Not a fan of the shape, it looks a little off (in fact a lot of them do!)
01:37:955 (4) - More unintentional overlaps during fadein/fadeout, with 01:36:801 (2) sliderend.
01:40:724 (2) - WAY too close to 01:40:263 (1) , slider end of (1) overlaps with body of (2) slightly.
01:49:493 (1,2,3) - These seem pretty randomly placed, as they overlap in odd places.
01:53:186 (1) - Slider body overlaps with 01:52:493 (5) in messy way.
02:11:070 (2) - Overlaps with 02:11:647 (1) .
Not a fan of hitsounding or pattern for 02:29:301 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) .
02:30:686 (2,3) - Messy overlap with 02:31:493 (7) .
02:32:532 (2,3) - Almost unhearable hitsounding again :/
02:33:455 (6) - ^
02:35:186 (5) - Not a fan of how this is overlapped completely by the blanket slider.
02:38:878 (5) - ^ Same story here.
02:39:801 (1,2,3) - Would look nicer, and maybe play better if the arc/curve of these followed 02:40:147 (4) better.
02:43:609 (2) - Going to stop mentioning hitsounding since It's clear I'll be saying it several times. Just listen through your beatmap very slowly with default skin and You'll find all of the issues with hitsunding.
02:43:840 (4,1,2) - All mapped in the same way despite having different time gaps (all stack yet 1/2 and 1/4 time gaps are here, which can confuse a player).
Decided to skip to one of the Kiai Times just to save time and to avoid making this into a wall mod.
02:59:878 - For this section I strongly advise beginning by passively mapping 1/12 or 1/6 timing.
03:09:187 (5,6,7) - Not a fan of this kind of pattern, especially when you have 03:15:340 (1,2,3) which looks so similar.
03:24:340 (8,9,1,2,3,4,5) - Done by hand or with slider? Inconsistent spacing between notes, excluding (5), since I know why that's done.
03:27:570 (1) - Why map one of the more interesting parts of the track as a slider
