am i allowed to back up my vocals with some double tracks (sung by me, of course) just for the sake of creativity or to make some phrases stand out?

Everything is collected on to the main google document we're using for entries and judging. Once auditions are complete and everything is processed we announce results and temporarily make the document public for viewing until next stage submissions. So yes people will hear you.K1nshiro wrote:

Is it alright if we record our performance with a device such as a phone just so we can move to a low echo environment and then overlay it on the music? Does that count as modifying the entry?

Ikanaide really doesn't do Will Stetson any justice, dud should've legit used his Hime Hime swing thingy instead.

I voted for Renril, singing at that speed with that stamina requires real talent.
Total noob here but I actually took the time to listen to all of these entries for several times and I still can't decide whos the best, it's insanely difficult. Will sounds like a professional, the producing quality is great, and the voice is totally on point. Thievley and Renril both can't match that quality but Renril sings at an enormous speed, must be such a difficult song to cover (would love that song as a beatmap btw.) and Thievley gets props from me just for picking an English song, that's brave. Not to mention the great voice, of course.
