Hi, this is my part of m4m, sorry for the lateness
[General]
and I hope my mod was worth the wait lol
[General]
- Make the spinner start at the same part for all the diffs (Futsuu and above). You have the spinner at 01:19:086 (1) - on Futsuu, but then it starts half a beat later in Muzu and it apparently goes back 1/4 of a beat in the hardest diffs. Not very neat.
- yes I can see these things c:
- You can add the full name of 'REFLEC BEAT plus' to tags if you want, though remove 'MUSIC PACK 67' from tags, there's no point having it in tags of a song (that's not part of the game name, it just says which music pack you have to buy from KONAMI's overpriced shop to get the song).
- Diff gap between Muzu and Oni is slightly larger than what would be ideal spread, though you can probably just ignore that as star rating isn't always best for gauging actual difficulty.
- This is my opinion but I think the finishers are placed unjustly. For example, based on your logic of a heavy sound at points like 00:06:438 (3) - and 00:07:735 (4) - , shouldn't notes such as 00:16:816 (21) - and 00:18:113 (22) - have them as well?
- 00:25:897 (35) - Why not just use red note here? I think 00:25:248 (34,35,36) - are similar sounding enough that they can just be monocolour for a Kantan diff, not to mention that it would emphasise these: 00:24:600 (32,33) - more.
- 00:45:357 (65) - Maybe use red note here as well, it sounds similar to 00:46:005 (66) - .
- 00:47:951 (72) - Probably could add a finisher here like you have done on 00:42:762 (63) - , these both have pitch changing in the music (can't describe it well so feel free to decline if you don't accept it)
- 00:53:140 (80) - Add a finisher here? You're even starting a new kiai here, so I think it would be good to show this part as a new section.
- 01:21:681 (118) - I would say a finish here is unnecessary, it would emphasise 01:22:978 (120,121,122) - these more (and some other reason which I can't really describe well w)
- 01:25:248 (124) - Move this 1/2 of a beat 01:25:411 , I know you can really put one note here for kantan but I still think it's more suited to be put on the second beat.
- 00:16:816 (37) - Why is this note kat? It's a don note in every other diff.
- 00:34:167 - What about adding a kat here and change 00:33:681 (86) - to don? I think this section would make it contrast well with 00:32:384 (83,84,85) - .
- 00:53:140 (148) - Similar with kantan.
- This is just a general statement and I do understand that you were trying to put some variation into the map here, but I don't understand the choice of not putting any beats on the solid white lines in the section from 00:53:140 (148) - to 00:57:357 (162) - . It just sounds a bit strange and awkward to play for the player. I would say either fill the gaps in or do something similar to the previous kiai.
- 01:14:546 (212,214) - These could probably just be left as don note since they have similar background sounds to 01:13:897 (211,213) - .
- 00:16:816 (34) - Starting to think that you could add a finisher here for flow (and maybe to the previous easier diffs as well).
- 00:35:951 (14,15,16) - I would suggest a triple kat pattern here, these sound more similar to the previous two 1/2 kats in my opinion. Triple-don notes sound a bit flat here imo.
- 00:45:194 (58,59) - I'd suggest swapping these two and changing 00:45:681 (60) - to a kat, it *just* makes use of the synthesised sounds better.
- 00:50:384 (81,82,83) - Same here.
- 01:05:140 - y u no put note here ;w;
- 01:27:843 (26,27) - I would swap these, to make it sound more unique compared to 01:26:870 (20,21) - .
- Increase HP drain to 6 or something, 5 is too Muzu like and easy imo
- 00:15:194 (40,41) - Maybe swap these two, I think it's better for flow (even if you say don-kat because of music pitch or something).
- 00:16:816 (52) - Same as Muzu
- 00:47:789 (95,96) - Swap these two, I think in this case it's better to follow pitch.
- 01:38:222 (26,27) - Same as the first suggestion for Oni diff.
- Increase HP drain to 6, 4 makes it too easy to pass imo (I basically didn't press anything whenever I saw 1/6 or a stream longer than a few notes and I still passed it)
- 00:41:140 (113,114,115,116,117,118,119) - Maybe you can change the first note or first three of this 1/6 to dons instead, this entire sound effect sounds more like it increases in pitch.
- 00:47:789 (167) - Change this to a don note, I think with having three kats before 00:47:951 (168) - this finisher becomes very forced to play, and it doesn't really match well (won't consider the fact that only your Inner Oni diff has a finisher here).
- 00:49:248 (177,178,179,180,181) - This pattern feels a bit forced to play, not sure what you're trying to match in the music here to be honest.
- 01:13:573 (18,19,20,21) - Probably unnecessary to have four kat notes to lead into the finisher note there, you don't even have anything mapped before the finisher in your easier diffs. Just a simple note or two here would suffice.
