hi hi m4m here sorry i'm late lol kano's vocals do not fit the video all that well tbh
[Easy]
hope this helps!
[Easy]
- 00:09:494 (1,2) - i think the issue is obvious here, but just in case, the (2) is slightly touching the (1) and it looks pretty bad aesthetically since it looks unintentional. rotate the (2) counterclockwise a bit?
- 00:17:160 - i wouldn't ignore this beat since it sounds like you're following vocals here but then forgot this vocal note. consider adding a circle here
- 00:39:827 - there's a really audible kick here i don't think you should ignore either; consider adding a circle here
- 00:46:827 (1) - just my opinion here, but sharp corners on a slider like this look kind of bad on easier difficulties due to how squished it feels. consider spacing it out a bit more? alternatively, you could add another pivot point and make the slider look something like this?
- 00:09:494 (1,2,3,4,5) - umm i think you should follow the vocals more with this pattern since all the other patterns before the spinner follow the vocals and then this one is like not following vocals all that great
- 00:38:827 (1) - hmm consider dividing this up into 1/1 slider at 00:38:827 - and circle at 00:39:327 - ? 3/2 slider here feels strange here because it's the longest slider here
- just an idea here, but why not consider reversing the order of 00:24:493 (2,3,4) - ? the piano does this interesting thing here where it places emphasis on 00:24:660 - so i think it'd be cool to map to that emphasis
- 00:43:327 (2,3) - consider stacking these like you stacked 00:41:993 (2,3) - ? i think stacking would be neat since the vocal composition and rhythms are near identical for these parts so it'd be cool to capture that repetition by making the patterns similar
- 00:44:660 (2,3) - ^yeah that could apply here too
- 01:01:493 (1,2) - nothing wrong with this in particular, but i do have to wonder why the pattern here is much simpler than everything else in the chorus? it just feels out of place to me :v
- 01:14:827 - consider placing a circle here and starting the spinner on the blue or red tick after it? downbeat here is pretty emphasized so i think it'd be a wasted opportunity for it to not be clickable
- 01:20:493 (2,3,4) - same suggestion that i suggested at 00:24:493 (2,3,4) - but it's not really necessary; just something i thought would be neat
- 01:11:160 (1,2,3) - pattern here just seems really simple in comparison to the rest of the difficulty.. doesn't really fit imo since this is one of the most intense parts of the song, and then it feels like something that would be in an Easy or Normal. i'd consider buffing up the patterning here
- 00:16:493 (1,2,3) - should probably be a triangle and you should probably start a new combo on 00:17:493 (4) - . reasoning is because of the pitch in vocals; 00:16:493 (1) - matches the increase in pitch well, but then 00:17:493 (4) - doesn't
- 00:21:743 - forgot a note here? you mapped one at 00:27:077 (3) - which is basically the same piano pattern
- 00:38:410 (6) - using a 3/4 slider you skipped a pretty emphasized beat on 00:38:493 - . why not try a circle at 00:38:410 - and a 1/2 slider on 00:38:493 - ?
- 00:42:327 (6,7) - i think the clap on the slider end should be clickable. why not try reversing the order of notes here? you could stack the circle over the slider head if you do-
- 00:46:327 (5,6) - ^similar thing about how i think reversing the order of notes here would be better because of emphasis on clap should be clickable
- 01:22:827 (1) - not gonna map to the blue tick at 01:23:077 - ?
- 00:32:827 (3,4,5) - so the thing is, you ended up skipping the kick that's on the white tick at 00:33:160 - by going with this pattern that doesn't really fit with the drums all that well. why not consider using a pattern like in Kib's Extra? this applies to the patterns at 00:35:494 (5,6,7) - and 00:38:160 (5,6,7) -
- 00:41:827 (1) - uhhhh why does this clap sound different from the rest of the claps 00:42:494 (2) - 00:43:160 (1) - 00:43:827 (2) - etc.
- 00:45:160 (2) - why is the slider end quiet here? none of the other slider ends in this section are quiet like this..
- 00:52:160 (1,1,1) - what are these mapped to? the music here isn't strong enough to support beats like these.. i think using a spinner or one long slider like in Karia's diff would be better than using three 3/2 sliders that aren't really mapped to anything
- 01:06:493 (5,1) - don't you love blanket mods?
- 00:12:660 (3) - okay so the opening part before the drums start coming in sounds like you're mapping to the vocals more closely than to the piano, but then you have this long slider that goes over the vocal note at 00:12:827 - so yeah i'd consider splitting up this slider and making that white tick at 00:12:827 - be clickable as well
- 00:13:493 (3,4) - minor thing that people will end up pointing out so i'll point it out first; stack here is a little screwed up
- 00:32:827 (5) - consider extending this to the blue tick and making it a 3/4 slider? kind of doesn't fit the rest of the next few patterns since 00:35:493 (5) - 00:38:160 (7) - and 00:39:493 (5) - are all 3/4 sliders
hope this helps!
