Addiction is a different matter and there definitely are lots of negative effects to addictions, but as long as there is no interference with important stuff or crippling compulsion, watching porn is simply a matter of how people want to spend their leisure time. Now you're the one being nonsensical. The example you give has nothing to do with psychology. There is a root to all addictions and it can stem from something as simple as having an addictive personality, which is a problem in of itself. If you're going as far enough to drop other activities to the point it becomes bad and compulsive, there's something wrong going on inside your head, be it consciously or subconsciously.
