  2. It only matters for Nightcore, converts and the pulsating logo in song select but it triggers me that the timing is so off in the break, making it offset 60.037 with 179,0 BPM would be much better HOLY FUCK THAT EVEN LINES UP WITH THE NEXT SECTION I DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO ACHIEVE THAT LOL NOICE

  2. 00:19:818 (2,3) - If you keep this rhythm I'd at least not space this more than any other regular 1/2s, = don't make it have a visible followpoint because the rhythm is already quite unconventional so irregular spacing doesn't really help xd
  3. 00:41:055 (1,2,3,4) - Why is this spaced so low all of a sudden o:

Coming from the higher diffs I don't really like how you did the four-beat-patterns in this diff, each combo is vastly different to the others and especially the stack-pairs felt pretty awkward to play for me, also I find it a bit weird that you only do the custom-stack-thingy after the last of those patterns, imo it's confusing especially there because that gap is only 1/1 whereas the others would be 3/2 and thus less potentially confusing, also music-wise I'd not custom-stack the last ones out of all because a 'different part' starts there.. :/
    (also for some reason I misread and fucked up 01:32:843 (2,1) but none others for some reason lol wth)

I also tried to do somethign with the bass but it's not rythmically consistent so it doesn't sound very nice to me. I'll try a few more things but i doubt they will work out

Anyways i decided to do this kind of stuff because : having a regular 1/2 pattern with distance snap for each one would just feel super bland and messy, having only sliders would be too easy compared to what i do in normal and insane and having 4 jumps is too much for obvious reasons. double jumps are absolutly no problem for people sigle tapping. I get your point with the different part but things are way easier to read when they are stacked then when they have random spacing. As for the confusing part, i think we made a nice compromise with the last mod, i suggest you read it and give me your opinion

  2. 00:46:739 (4) - Are you sure that you don't wanna curve it a bit? Flow is so cut off this way.
  3. 00:59:371 (3,4) - Spacing error.
  4. 01:21:791 (2,3) - Lower density comes out of a sudden lol.

    Other than that I find it quite random how you used the 3/2 repeat slider, maybe place them like every third measure or whenever the guitar is the most audible? That would make the diff itself probably easier too since the SR is kinda high due the 1/1 spam at some places.

When drum layer comes in the song's rythm becomes very consistent and thus my mapping tries to reflect that.

It serves as an introdution to what notes are snaped to. The first one is different to teach the player that in further repetitions of that chorus the he will have to be careful because it is 1/1 and not 1/2 (even though imo, approach circles should be enough)

The beat with the bass sound is the second most important beat in the measure (it's a syncope of the 3rd beat)

  2. 01:41:685 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - The design of these definitely puts the emphasis on the wrong notes. Note how the 3,4s of both get less emphasis than the initial 1,2s and also how the 2>3 spacing gets the most emphasis by a fairly good margin.
Yeah, call me back when you get another BN and I'll do a more thorough check then. Or if you can't find one which seems to be a common occurrence now-a-days just call me back in a week or two.

Finish hitsound is extremely loud, consider lowering the volume of green lines whenever you are using them on the Kiai. 00:52:424 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Turns out to be super loud, for example. Try around 50%~55% volume on sections like that. And same applies whenever you are using any Finish hs.

As for the Hard difficulty, the only thing I am able to say it might look weird is 00:50:055 (1) - (and 01:27:948 (4,1) - of course). Better spacing them like every other double+break. If you do that, you might want to reconsider changing 00:54:634 (2,1) - since it'd be the only time you'd overlap 1/1 after a break... or are you doing it anywhere else? For example, in the other Kiai (the one at the very end), there are two examples of an overlap being stacked after a break with a slider.
Also, 01:04:897 (1) - placing that circle in the other side of the triangle flows way better with 01:05:370 (1) - .
Last, but not least, 00:21:476 (1,2) - these should be stacked.

Uhm not sure what to say tbh.. the first and third ones are totally mapping to a background guitar/bass sound, second is like introducing vocals for the next pattern. I don't like much silencing sliders, they tend to destroy the harmony I want to create. All are on purpose ;( thank for mod!

I think it won't benefit me in this case as the concept in itself (spacing increasing gradually) is respected throughout the whole map. Gameplay isn't affected by this as the DS used shouldn't matter as much in the higher difficulties, i usually place my objects without using any DS at all and try to juge if things look and feel consistent by testpaying. If anything i think changing this would be detrimental to my map, because the human brain adapts very easily to repetition and considering i use very similar patterns i think having slight inconsistencies helps (Side note : this concept of avoiding repetition is applied in music too where artists manually unsnap notes - by amounts that are often too small to notice - so the brain can't "adapt" to the melody that easily. This is the reason why some songs are such a headache to time sometimes, musicians are well aware that their timing is inconsistent, but they are also probably aware what benefits it has on the listener. If you think these things are interesting you can google it, i think the term for it is "swing" and there should be a few articles talking about it.) I hope this wall of text makes sense to you lol

I think its probably because it doesn't start deceling until 00:32:055 (8) - and so it just ends up looking like you ran out of room and had to condense the end. i remapped that part in reverse, that's why this was a thing lol. I guess it looked cool so it didn't bother me that much, shoudl be fixed now.
  2. 01:41:685 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - The design of these definitely puts the emphasis on the wrong notes. Note how the 3,4s of both get less emphasis than the initial 1,2s and also how the 2>3 spacing gets the most emphasis by a fairly good margin. your timestamp is weird but it should be good now

Finish hitsound is extremely loud, consider lowering the volume of green lines whenever you are using them on the Kiai. 00:52:424 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Turns out to be super loud, for example. As for the Hard difficulty, the only thing I am able to say it might look weird is 00:50:055 (1) - (and 01:27:948 (4,1) - of course). Better spacing them like every other double+break. If you do that, you might want to reconsider changing 00:54:634 (2,1) - since it'd be the only time you'd overlap 1/1 after a break... or are you doing it anywhere else? For example, in the other Kiai (the one at the very end), there are two examples of an overlap being stacked after a break with a slider. These are intentional, i strongly feel 1/1 gaps are wayyyy more readable when they are close to each other. Each 1/1 gap is stacked here i think except the first which should have been the first iteration of that pattern. The one who suggested that is Joezapy, i think doing this is a smart way to introduce the player to the complexity of the rythm and the pattern while not overwhelming him by doing both at the same time. The idea is that the first time the player will encounter the rythm he will learn how it goes and that should be making it easier when he encounters the stacked 1/1 pattern later on. Would be cool if you could read his mod and tell me what you think about it. The guy is 60k too, so his feedback might be valuable on this i feel.
Also, 01:04:897 (1) - placing that circle in the other side of the triangle flows way better with 01:05:370 (1) - . done i think?
Last, but not least, 00:21:476 (1,2) - these should be stacked. yes

The map was already hitsounded before he arrived with the same patterns lol. If he would have provided the new samples and suggested his changes (which there arn't many of) via a simple mod it would have achieved the same thing. I think the KD was very well deserved as he provided time and ressources I wouldn't have had to try and improve my map.

Nobody really cares how this stuff is treated and it doesn't really matter either, either grab your kudosu or feel free to icon it lol, I grab kds for timings too / have nominated mapsets where I reworked a lot of complicated timing too, it's not like there's gonna be any issue with that anyways~
