Hey, Tarrasky and GDers! I don't feel comfortable to mod harder diffs yet, I'm still practicing, will mod till Platinum diff.

[Mari's Bronze]
-Well, first issue that I note here is the gap between Easy and Normal - it's very bad. On Easy we have a lot of 2/1 rhythm with a low spacing and SV, and on Normal we have a difficulty with high SV, SV changes, and some 1/2 with the rest 1/1. To make the gap better, I'd suggest increasing SV on Easy to 0.80 and increase the spacing to 1/1.1 in order that 1/1 rhythm do not overlap each other. Consider adding more 1/1 rhythm too, otherwise gap would still be high.
  1. I feel your NC very inconsistent in a lot of parts, I'd recommend you let 2 stanzas cuz a lot of use of 2/1. I'll list the parts that you need to fix NC.

    00:08:662 (1) - Add NC.
    00:13:995 (3) - ^
    00:21:662 (1) - ^
    00:27:662 (1) - ^
    00:53:662 (1) -

    And keep doing like that in all parts you feel that is inconsistent (there are a lot more) Just let 2 downbeats on every nc measure and it should be fine :>
  2. Overall, I didn't like the way you ignored downbeats making slider finishes on them, they are important cause usually they have start of vocals and instrumentals, and ignoring them on slider ends feels weird.

Well, I'd say that's all. You need to improve in NCing and make rhythm harder to make a good gap between Normal (use tips that I listed above)

  4. 00:42:328 (3,1) - It completely seems that (3) is reversing twice with (1) overlaping under it, very bad idea if you ask me. I'd recommend removing that overlap between (1) and (3)
  5. 00:47:662 (2,1) - ^ And same for another parts like that on kiai.
  6. 00:57:662 (1) - Add NC here to fit your comboing pattern.
  7. 00:56:995 (3) - It'd flows better if you move (3) a bit higher on the grid :> x:344 y:68 seems good.
  8. 01:13:662 (2) - I really think that this is confusing for beginners, the way you put (2) close to (1)'s head will make Normal players will think that this is a faster rhythm like 1/2 and that's not what we want for a Normal diff. Consider moving them apart.
  9. 02:05:495 (3,1) - Mini DS problem here :3
It's a nice diff. I didn't like the way you guys increased slider velocity of sliders and make such harsh parts, but I think this is good for gap between Normal/Hard.

  1. 01:11:495 (3) - I saw maps getting DQeid because of that, just remove the gray point, it's useless.
  2. 00:07:995 (3) - A pity that the end of the slider is not clickable, you should do something clickable there, it's a really strong beat.

  4. 00:05:995 (1) - I understand the slider changes and etc, but this is not a reasons to make this spacing seems like 1/2, I'd suggest you spacing (1) more of (4).

You don't put that in the tags because it's not directly a part of the beatmap. He didn't create anything in the beatmap, just got the video. A video that he didn't make lol.

With that logic, I'd put people in the tags that suggest better BGs for my maps. Which is retarded.

  1. i think the gap between bronze and silver diff is quite big xd there are some places where bronze uses 2/1 gaps while silver it's filled with 1/2

  5. 02:00:328 (1) - I understood your idea of following voice with this long slider but it doesn't work that well imo, it should start from 02:00:995 - . i think that adding a circle on 02:00:328 - then starting the slider on 02:00:995 - will fit perfectly

the diff looks clean... however the hitsounding could be improved adding some claps, specially on the kiais which is the most rhythmical section

  1. 00:04:995 (5) - the sv change isn't intuitive, although it's a normal it should be straightforward (i don't really recommend to use sv changes in the normal diff, it just makes all things ugly lol)
  2. 00:09:662 (3,1) - so weird spacing... looks exactly like the one you used for the previous gap
  3. 00:26:328 (4) - i don't recommend to use this type of slider, a single circle works the same way and it's much more beginner-friendly
  4. 00:28:162 (3) - you could remove this circle in order to make the map focused to the main rhythm
  5. 00:32:995 (3,4) - kinda the same as previous, these type of stuff is not that good considering how easy the bronze diff was
  6. 01:17:995 (1,3) - the normal sampleset sounds odd tbh, it diminish the importance of claps... using adittions instead of the whole sampleset might be better
  7. 01:40:995 (3,1) - why 0,9x tho... normal should still have constant ds
  8. 01:46:328 (2,1) - ^
  9. 01:48:328 (1,2,3) - i personally don't like this rhythm, the clap being on the reverse arrow bugs me a bit... consider using 00:49:662 (1,2,3) - , works much better and it's also easier
  10. 01:51:662 (2,1) - check ds
  11. 01:59:662 (2) - pretty much the same as 00:28:162 (3)
  12. 02:02:995 (1) - the drum finish sound so random, you could add more of these in spots like 02:04:328 - 02:05:662 - 02:08:328 - etc. (basically the downbeats)

  1. the hitsounds seems to be copied from the other diffs so i'm not going to point that again, but yeah... check the drum finish usage at the end of the second kiai
  2. consider to decrease the ar a bit, the jump from 5 to 8 might be too much... i think 7 or so will be ok
  3. 00:25:662 (1,2,3) - i don't get the reason behind the jumpy pattern here, looks a bit exaggerated to me
  4. 00:34:995 (1,2) - i don't recommend to stack this i guess you wanted to follow voice with 2 so stacking it doesn't makes much sense because it kills the emphasis on it xd
  5. the distance between the objetcs throughout the kiai looks kinda random and it makes the whole section to look messy...
    for example
    00:40:328 (1,2,3) - 1,2x
    00:41:662 (1,2,3) - 1.3x
    00:44:328 (1,2,3) - 1.0x
    00:50:995 (1,2,3) - 1.5x (which is musically the same as 00:40:328 (1,2,3))
    in general words, try to keep the same distance (visually) in order to make the map more pleasant to look at

i'm gonna stop here... I took a brief look into the other diffs and i have no major concerns about them so pointing stuff would be useless... also i'm not planning to bubble this for now. i think the gap between E > N is too big xd (in fact this is the only thing that stops me from bubbling this)
