Scores are now updated in realtime (almost)
Results below top100 are also included. Only new scores unfortunately

as far as i know nobody else has gone down like that

Most likely some of your scores fell below top100 (Blame a global scoreboard update 4 hours ago)
Sorry for that.

Edit: It was a bug after all

But on the bright side - scores should never dissapear again from now on.

I'm full of 350-480 for agility and I only have an "average" of 116 now

yeah, my stamina, tenacity and agility have all gone down considerably even though i'm pretty sure only one of my stamina scores is top 100 (it's actually still there and in the top 50 lol), the rest are pp-based

also i checked a few other profiles and their values have also gone down a little bit but not as much as mine or minecraft570

The scores doesn't seem so "realtime" to me right now as I have scores that haven't appeared yet
#34 - 3 hours ago This hasn't appeared anywhere in my scores yet (Apink - Petal)

#15 - 44 hours ago This has. (Before the update probably) (Roses Epicurean - Yoru no Kodomo tachi)

#178 - about an hour ago And I don't know if Top PP Plays are still included, but this should be at the top of Precision with CS 6.5 (Blue123 - Caged Heart)

Website says it updated 4 hours ago.
Is "realtime" updates glitching? is it just my scores below top 100?
Or is this normal? I will try to wait a little longer for scores to update :|

It's not normal. It just crashed at some point woops. Investigating.
Edit: It crashed quite a long time ago (yesterday : ( ), I restarted it right now and it will track new scores.
I updated some stuff concerning this. Let's hope it will work alright now.

Why is that?
A. Too low score?
B. Glitch?
C. Limit on total maps listed?
This couldn't have been given a low score since it took me some time to memorize it and get an SS

Secondly, as you've said the second score wasn't included because it was too easy, therefore having a score too low that it was purged from the list.
Other scores seem to have appeared as well, as I'm seeing new scores popping up.
Seems like farming a lot of maps would bring down scores if its score was low enough to bring down your average in each category :o

Low point scores should never lower down your total skill points (similar to how PP works). Something else happened in your case.

Is there a reason that a 780x 0 miss gives the same amount of points as an fc about 200 combo higher? Talking about my Uroboros infinity in the stamina section.

Also, my current #1 in stamina is overrated because that map just has one short, hard stream section (20-30 notes?) and 90% of it is garbage in terms of stamina in my opinion. I even one missed it. I don't see a reason for it to be higher on the list than sayonara superstar.

The updates still seem to be kinda rigged.
Top100 updates for me at the same time as my personal Top Plays and I even got one play into my osu!skills that isn't on my Top Plays and also not Top100:
SENEZ - Misplaced Shadow (Jemmmmy) [Insane] (97.12%)
353 (in stamina)

I'm #700ish on it and also not Top100 for Selected Mods.

M2U - Quo Vadis (buhei) [Insane] (98.11%)
420 (in tenacity)

Nope, we take it from the live feed here. If there is a top score, then the api does stuff.

I don't think combo based systems are an accurate measure of skill. Accuracy comes closer, but still isnt perfect. Someday if and when we get replay analysis running, it may count but I don't think it will give such a big penalty for a slider break.

High bpm short streams/bursts are just pretty overrated in general, i heard they were working on new formulae though so maybe that'll improve the issue.

Shouldn't misses and sliderbreaks have significant loss in score? Looks like sliderbreaks doesn't affect scoring in the slightest.

7.13 Toumei Elegy is 400 combo score with 13 misses and its still equal to FC on Bull's eye in agility score. IMO play with that many misses shouldn't be worth that much.



Same thing here with for example Yui - Again which is pretty much spam through run with 2 misses. The score shouldn't be that much.

Rewrite is 2.7 stars CS9.1. The base gain for high CS is way too high while the scoring seems fair on more difficult maps in correlation to other skill values.

How about a speed skill? like tapping speed and BPM stuff? would be cool IMO

osu! servers are very unreliable currently and a lot of scores missed the database because of that :(

I have another suggestion...

I think you should add an "Update" button to the site, instead of updating it whenever it's been 12 hours after the last update, and someone accesses the user page on osu!Skills, for two reasons:

1: Since there is a very long time so we can update again, sometimes I have to keep a tab open in my browser with my osu!skills page, because if I open it after the 12 hours, it'll update, and I want to finish playing before updating it, yet I want to see my skills from before updating.

2: Sometimes, it's not necessary to update, because we don't make new highscores everyday, and on the day we don't make a highscore, we don't need to update it, plus... If we are waiting to stop playing to update it, we may end up forgetting to update. The server would make less effort to keep working, and it MIGHT make the "12 hours of wait" become lower, like 10 hours, or even 8, who knows...

I feel bad for you because my score is only 3.97 million. I'm starting to hate the insanes I played a year ago nomod with high ass scores I can hardly beat DT because DT they're like 6.5*+

So, it appears that hidden really doesn't do anything for osu!skills. getting a hddthr play with higher acc same combo as a hrdt play on a map gives the same precision. i don't really mind this since hidden really doesn't make circles smaller or harder to click, but with that in mind it doesn't appear to contribute to any stat, even though it technically makes the song harder to read. Maybe having hidden play a large part in the reading score? I've just seen so many hidden only players with great scores on maps have super low osu!skills. I just wish there was a stat that hidden really helped such as hr-precision/acc and dt for certain ones, not to mention memory being completely fl based, it must make the hidden mod feel sad for being left out :cry:

It actually does play slightly into the memory skill; my top memory score would be about 20 points higher with hidden. It's probably weighted more on actual hard maps too

I think longer maps should give more Accuracy points. One of my best play is worth next nothing while some random TV Size I randomly sightread gives a lot more.

The website seems a little bugged at the moment. I've lost a lot of scores, last viewed players is stuck on the same people and basically everyone is "worse"

New update.

- You can now easily compare your present with your past skills by opening the page again after scores reach our database.
- +/- skill change indicators now show the differences in comparison to points you last saw on the page.
Differences reset to 0 if more than 12 hours pass from the last time you opened the page
- NEW labels now appear for scores not older than 1 day
Your browser must support HTML5 localstorage for this to work. Don't worry unless you're using Opera Mini or some ancient IE / Safari.

i got 2 updates but my score on https://osu.ppy.sh/b/62636?m=0 didn't get added for some reason; the rest did though, even one i did after the first update and before the second

It should refresh daily now, independent on whether it was viewed before or not.

they still are, it's just that a lot of them are getting missed for some reason
