Your background is larger than 1366x768

[Summertime]

00:11:392 (3,4) - This generally feels really inconsistent with these two being so close to eachother and 00:11:230 (2,5) - being somewhat big jumps
00:23:554 (9,1) - This again feels really dumb to play when these two are really close to eachother after a big jump. Maybe stack these two?
00:25:662 (4) - Move this a bit upleft. Feels better imo.
00:33:608 (3) - I feel like this could be further away from 00:33:284 (2) -
00:38:797 (3,4) - Reduce spacing. Don't forget to adjust the coming notes.
00:41:230 (4) - 1/1 slider? Follows the vocals
00:44:311 - I think you should map this since there are vocals here also
00:49:662 (1) - Move this a bit up to get some angle to the jump.
00:59:554 (5,6) - This jump is just so big
01:12:041 (3) - x:220 y:175 ?
01:20:473 (5) - I would have made the jump go over the (2) to x:235 y:204 (not really excact) and go from there but that's just what I would have done. I would still like to give the jump some more angle.
01:25:014 (3,4) - Stack?
01:43:987 (6) - Remove this and make 01:43:662 (5) - two jumps so at the red tick there is a small break. Also make the jump between 01:43:338 (3,4) - bigger.
02:03:608 (5) - Ctrl+g?
02:15:933 (2,3,4) - Move these further away from 02:15:284 (1) - and make them have the same spacing
02:16:581 (1,2,3,4) - ^
02:17:878 (1,2,3,4) - ^
02:19:176 (1,2) - Fix blanket
02:20:473 (1,2,3,4) - Again this. U know what I suggest
02:27:446 (3,4) - This jump too big again
02:38:635 (1) - Ctrl+g?
02:44:473 (3) - ^
02:59:068 (7,8) - This just feels really awkward again to have such a small jump suddenly
03:06:365 (3,4,5) - This is too linear compared to the other jumps in this pattern
03:24:365 (4,5) - Fix blanket

Sorry I can't really mod anything lower than Insane except point out some overlaps lol. I didn't even find anything particularly wrong with Normal and Hard.
Good luck with this mapset! :)

Your background is larger than 1366x768, Oh! I forgot to change that, thanks

[Summertime]

00:11:392 (3,4) - This generally feels really inconsistent with these two being so close to eachother and 00:11:230 (2,5) - being somewhat big jumps - Yeah, I think rotating the slider would solve this one.
00:23:554 (9,1) - This again feels really dumb to play when these two are really close to eachother after a big jump. Maybe stack these two? - yeah, it really feels awkward, so I will replace the gliding pattern for it here.
00:25:662 (4) - Move this a bit upleft. Feels better imo. - moved
00:33:608 (3) - I feel like this could be further away from 00:33:284 (2) - moved to the slider start so it will resembles the intro pattern.
00:38:797 (3,4) - Reduce spacing. Don't forget to adjust the coming notes. - spacing and the 3-4 jump shortened
00:41:230 (4) - 1/1 slider? Follows the vocals - I think I'll follow the drums here
00:44:311 - I think you should map this since there are vocals here also - repeat slider added and the circle can be on the vocal, really feels better.
00:49:662 (1) - Move this a bit up to get some angle to the jump. - I think it's fine here, the position will be reused by the jumps later.
00:59:554 (5,6) - This jump is just so big - circle moved to 00:58:743 (1)
01:12:041 (3) - x:220 y:175 ? - the position will be reused so I kept it as it was.
01:20:473 (5) - I would have made the jump go over the (2) to x:235 y:204 (not really excact) and go from there but that's just what I would have done. I would still like to give the jump some more angle. - I think the jumps are not necessary here so I just made it flow here (jumps removed)
01:25:014 (3,4) - Stack? - Yes, I think it was mispositioned during the mapping, it was once stacked.
01:43:987 (6) - Remove this and make 01:43:662 (5) - two jumps so at the red tick there is a small break. Also make the jump between 01:43:338 (3,4) - bigger. - This really sounds better, thanks
02:03:608 (5) - Ctrl+g? - yes
02:15:933 (2,3,4) - Move these further away from 02:15:284 (1) - and make them have the same spacing - I think I'll keep it like the intro pattern here
02:16:581 (1,2,3,4) - ^
02:17:878 (1,2,3,4) - ^
02:19:176 (1,2) - Fix blanket - fixed
02:20:473 (1,2,3,4) - Again this. U know what I suggest - same here
02:27:446 (3,4) - This jump too big again - it was big, so I just repeat the slider and rotate the circle square
02:38:635 (1) - Ctrl+g? - yup
02:44:473 (3) - ^ - yes
02:59:068 (7,8) - This just feels really awkward again to have such a small jump suddenly - I see, gliding patterns seemed useful here, so I put it there
03:06:365 (3,4,5) - This is too linear compared to the other jumps in this pattern - I changed only the (8) but that's a lot less linear. (3 triangles here)
03:24:365 (4,5) - Fix blanket - fixed

Sorry I can't really mod anything lower than Insane except point out some overlaps lol. I didn't even find anything particularly wrong with Normal and Hard. - Nevermind, I think it's really hard to mod normals and Thank you very much for the mods, they are very helpful. Actually you can have a look at this map later, one insane GD is coming. (PS : The star is 4.71 now haha XD)
Hoping that it will be my first ranked mapset

  1. The Summertime difficulty is one of the best Insanes maps I've ever played; not much I could find to be honest. Keep it up.
  2. Maybe use this as a video: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21737751 ???
  3. Idk if it's just me but I hear a LOT of hitsound inconsistencies especially when you use normal hitsound.
  4. For Summertime, OD7 would make much more sense.
[Summertime]

  1. 00:14:311 (7,8) - The momentum from 00:14:149 (6,7) makes this stack awkward; maybe do something like this?
  2. 00:26:149 (8,9) - Maybe have this lead into 00:26:311 (1).
  3. 00:52:257 - A kiai burst could be added as it's sort of a bridge between verses.
  4. 01:24:851 (2) - You should stack this on top of the next two notes to follow the lyrics or you can pull 01:24:851 (2,3) away from the slider.
  5. 01:27:608 - Maybe add a note here. I hear that she stopped singing but you're following the beat, not the vocals.
  6. 01:43:662 (5,6,7) - I feel this should be stacked as the current pattern gives the vibe of "where do I go next." Yeah I didn't know how to word that.
  7. 01:49:338 (1) - This can be extended to a slider ending at 01:49:498.
  8. 01:50:473 (7,1) - The momentum is broken again as I pointed out in my first point. I think it would play better spacing these.
  9. 02:50:960 (4,5) - I think it would read better if you did this.

This map gives off a nostalgic feel, doesn't it?

  3. Idk if it's just me but I hear a LOT of hitsound inconsistencies especially when you use normal hitsound. - I'll make some HS changes later, Thanks for pointing it out.
  4. For Summertime, OD7 would make much more sense. - I think 9 is fine (for me)
[Summertime]

  1. 00:14:311 (7,8) - The momentum from 00:14:149 (6,7) makes this stack awkward; maybe do something like this? - Good point, but I made a triangle here instead.
  2. 00:26:149 (8,9) - Maybe have this lead into 00:26:311 (1). - positions are changed, but I think stacking is okay here.
  3. 00:52:257 - A kiai burst could be added as it's sort of a bridge between verses. - I don't know how to do that hehe :?
  4. 01:24:851 (2) - You should stack this on top of the next two notes to follow the lyrics or you can pull 01:24:851 (2,3) away from the slider. - I repositioned the circle here, It was weird, thanks.
  5. 01:27:608 - Maybe add a note here. I hear that she stopped singing but you're following the beat, not the vocals. - Added, nice one
  6. 01:43:662 (5,6,7) - I feel this should be stacked as the current pattern gives the vibe of "where do I go next." Yeah I didn't know how to word that. - Okay, stacked
  7. 01:49:338 (1) - This can be extended to a slider ending at 01:49:498. - Circle changed to slider, (2) circle removed

This map gives off a nostalgic feel, doesn't it? - Yes it does

M4M from my modding queue:

Normal

  1. Isn't OD2 a little low? I think 3 would do better.
  2. 00:06:851 (3) - Ctrl +H and place it in the same spot for better flow.
  3. 00:51:284 - There's a really strong snare here. Place a circle.
  4. 01:26:960 (2,3) - Blanket these two on each other.
  5. 01:34:743 (2,3) - This blanket could also look a bit better.
  6. 01:37:987 (5,6,1) - Better blanket.
  7. 01:46:743 (1,2) - Better blanket.
  8. 02:02:311 (1,2) - Curve these two or something of that sort. As they are, they look really boring. Maybe even place a circle on the white tick between them.
  9. 02:29:716 (3,4) - Get a bit more spacing between these two or add a circle on the head of (4) at 02:30:041
  10. 03:20:149 (1,2) - Better blanket.
  11. 03:27:933 (1,2) - Better blanket.
  12. 03:43:824 (2) - Maybe straighten this curve out a bit. It doesn't look too good especially with the slider coming after it.
  13. Nice and solid Normal difficulty. Personally, I would have used more 1/2 but this works.

Hard

  1. 1.10 SV is really low for a hard but turning it up at this point would be a lot of work so just stick with what you have.
  2. 00:19:662 (1) - I am pretty sure it's not okay for a slider to exit the grid this much.
  3. 00:47:878 (3,4,5,6,7) - This is a lot of 1/2 rhythm for such a simple part. Consider just following the vocals here.
  4. 01:00:689 (2,3,4) - I think doing like this instead would make much better flow.
  5. 01:12:203 - Why not do a triple here or at least a repeat slider like you did the other times?
  6. 01:13:987 (3,4) - I don't like the rhythm you use here. There's a strong vocal on at 01:14:311 and you also skip a snare with (4). Consider changing this.
  7. 01:15:933 (2,3,4,5) - Same thing here. You completely ignore the rhythm of the song.
  8. 01:34:581 (5,6) - Same here.
  9. 02:17:068 - Why no circle here? Actually, for this entire part I recommend you follow the guitar the whole time. It has a really nice rhythm.
  10. I think I saw a couple more weird blankets on this difficulty. Just letting you know, since they aren't really too pretty to look at. I'll also say that I think you curve some of the small sliders a little too much, which doesn't look too good either. Otherwise nice Hard difficulty.

55567's Insane

  1. Wow. Just playing through this I can already see this is a really solid map. I'll see how much I can find.
  2. 00:09:770 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - I don't like this back and forth pattern into this weird angle. See if you can move (6,7,8) else where while keeping a good flow. I'd suggest moving the triple on top of (1) and making 00:10:581 (9,10) into a 1/4 slider.
  3. 00:42:365 (2,3,4,5) - This flow seems really awkward. I'd recommend moving (3) and (4) a bit to even out the spacing. Something like this.
  4. 01:11:716 - I know you're following the vocals but are you sure you don't want to do something with these bass drums here?
  5. 01:23:230 (8) - There isn't really anything here. It would probably be better to make (7) into a slider.
  6. 02:39:122 (2,3) - This spacing is kind of weird. Just make it as you've done every other time.
  7. 02:50:149 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - I'm not sure if this is the right place for a jump section like this.
  8. 03:07:176 (1) - I know you don't really do this but a NC here would look a lot better imo. And probably also before every other break.
  9. 03:27:446 (1) - NC?
  10. Nice job. This looks really nice.

Summertime

  1. Okay, something I really don't like about this difficulty. You keep making these weird 1/1 pauses e.g. 00:35:554 (2,3) - 00:37:987 (1,2) - 00:49:662 (1,2) - 01:04:257 (4,5) - and it continues. It might work in hard but in an Insane difficulty they feel really awkward to play since the flow is constantly stopping. This would all play a lot better with 1/2 sliders or 1/1 sliders. Seriously consider fixing this because I'm not seeing this getting ranked any time soon as it is.
  2. Another thing I spotted was that the hit sounds seemed really inconsistent. A lot of snares were missing throughout the song. I'm sure if this counts for all the difficulties but consider listening to the hit sounds without the music and check anything that sounds off.
  3. 00:20:635 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - Don't make a stream where there's not supposed to be one. That's what we call overmapping.
  4. 00:27:446 (1) - This slider could look better. Try making the angles slightly less pointy.
  5. 00:41:878 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This jump pattern doesn't fit at all and you also skip a vocal with the 1/1 slider after it.
  6. 00:45:770 (1,2,3) - Really awkward flow both because of the angle and because of the spacing change. Maybe you could try something like this.
  7. 01:23:716 (2) - Making this slider have the same curve as the other ones.
  8. 01:39:608 - Here you even skip a bass drum even though it looks like you've been mapping to the drums most of the time.
  9. 01:53:230 (1) - Just to give an example of what I meant with the hit sounds. You often completely forget to put the snare in, but at other times you use the drum-hitnormal instead. Which I don't understand at all. It's almost inaudible. Please just use the normal-hitnormal (the strong snare) for all the snares.
  10. 02:15:284 - Like with the Hard difficulty, please just follow the guitar at this section. It'll play much better.
  11. 02:54:203 (1) - Random different slider sound.
Aaand that's about what I had to say. I hope I helped!

  3. 00:20:635 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - Don't make a stream where there's not supposed to be one. That's what we call overmapping. - Well, yes. Thanks for pointing it out, just realized that - fixed
  4. 00:27:446 (1) - This slider could look better. Try making the angles slightly less pointy. - an S shaped slider would do here - fixed
  5. 00:41:878 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This jump pattern doesn't fit at all and you also skip a vocal with the 1/1 slider after it. - fixed
  6. 00:45:770 (1,2,3) - Really awkward flow both because of the angle and because of the spacing change. Maybe you could try something like this. - changed to this
  7. 01:23:716 (2) - Making this slider have the same curve as the other ones. - copied the (1) slider and rotate it to be (2) and (3)
  8. 01:39:608 - Here you even skip a bass drum even though it looks like you've been mapping to the drums most of the time. - added
  9. 01:53:230 (1) - Just to give an example of what I meant with the hit sounds. You often completely forget to put the snare in, but at other times you use the drum-hitnormal instead. Which I don't understand at all. It's almost inaudible. Please just use the normal-hitnormal (the strong snare) for all the snares.- I'll find a hitsound sampleset that will match the song's snare drum, because I really think that the normalhit is too strong for many hits of the song, and it ruined the song as I've tried it already, even with reduced volume
  10. 02:15:284 - Like with the Hard difficulty, please just follow the guitar at this section. It'll play much better. - okay fixed, but I still want to stick to the stronger drum hit for some beats here
  11. 02:54:203 (1) - Random different slider sound. - hitfinish added
Aaand that's about what I had to say. I hope I helped! Yes, it was a very good help for a new mapper like me, Thank you very much

Hi, from modding queue

General
-Instead of changing to sampleset to drum for those drum hits i would recommend changing it to a clap instead, then adding in custom hitsounds. (Ex. 00:07:824 (1,3))

Normal
00:13:014 (4) - map this note
00:24:689 - ^
00:29:878 - ^
00:37:662 (2,3) - improve blanket
00:41:554 - map this
00:58:743 (3,4) - slight blanket improvement
01:04:257 (3) - why is this a whistle? I think it should be a drum. (if you use my general suggestion, it will be a clap)
01:12:689 - theres an interesting sound here
01:16:906 (2,3) - these sliders feels uncomfortably close
01:18:203 (1,2,3) - fix the DS here
01:21:770 - map this
01:35:392 (3,1) - improve blanket
01:39:284 (1,2) - DS
01:41:230 (4,2) - get rid of the overlap, then move other objects as necessary
02:16:257 (2,1) - improve blanket
02:20:473 (1,2) - DS slightly off
02:37:014 (2,3) - blanket
02:49:014 (1,2) - ^, also DS slightly off
03:23:068 (2,3) - blanket
03:26:960 - map this note maybe?
03:31:824 (4,1) - stack directly on top

Hard
-For future reference, I think you could use a higher slider SV
-I think hard difficulties should contain fewer breaks throughout the song. 00:31:500 - contrary to the opening sequence, I think there should be fewer breaks within the lyrical portion (can change from song to song though)
00:12:365 (4,5,6) - this DS looks weird to me
00:11:230 - map this note?
00:15:770 (5,6) - overmapped
00:16:906 (3,4) - blanket
00:18:527 (1,2) - flow doesnt look good
00:24:203 - map this note?
00:30:203 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - i think this is a good place for jumps (if they already are, then make them bigger)
01:17:878 (3,1) - blanket
01:34:581 (5,1) - ^
01:35:554 (3,4) - ^
01:48:365 (2,3,4) - make them all the same DS, 2 is farther from 3 than 3 is to 4
02:00:365 (3,4) - i think it would look better if you moved them farther apart
02:38:635 (1,2) - blanket
02:39:770 (1,4) - i think you should move 2 and 3 up, then stack these
03:35:716 (1,2) - dont like how this looks, maybe move 1 down and lead more into 2

55567's Insane
-Overall, very fun! Seems easier than the star difficulty (is that a good thing?)
00:05:554 (1,2) - blanket
00:17:554 (2,3,4) - blankets
00:28:581 (4) - 00:29:554 (3) - stack the tail of 3 onto 4?
01:11:392 (3,4,5) - i dont really like this jump
02:24:365 (1,2,3,4) - consider making smaller jumps

Summertime
00:21:770 (3,4) - blanket
00:24:284 (3) - overmapped
00:34:014 (6) - overmapped
00:39:243 - lyrics starts here (1/8 tick), that happens for a lot of the song actually
00:43:743 (4) - overmapped
01:03:284 (2,1) - maybe you could move them farther apart
01:06:689 (1) - curve less for better flow into 2?
01:35:878 (5) - overmapped
01:36:203 (6) - ^
01:37:906 (3) - ^
00:55:014 (2,3) - ^
00:57:203 (5) - ^
00:57:284 (7) - ^
00:58:662 (7) - ^ im going to stop pointing those out, go through your 1/4 beats on 25% playback
01:43:987 - map this note?
-I dont have much experience with maps as hard as this, sorry I couldnt catch flow/jump stuffs. But I think what tripped me up most was the constantly changing DS, just putting it out there.

Good luck, and thanks for your business!

00:08:797 (2,3) - Blanket (If I only say "Blanket", it means there's something wrong with it, although it might be slight) fixed all blankets
00:10:743 (1,2) - Make the slider tail point to (2) looks nice

00:31:824 (2,3) - Blanket
00:32:797 (1) - Slider tail should point to (2) nope
00:36:689 (1) - ^ alright, this one's fixed
00:37:824 (1,2) - Blanket, and while you're at it have the slider tail of (2) point to (3) blanket fixed, but the (2) slider is fine for me
00:41:878 (1,2) - Blanket
00:48:203 (5,1) - Make this a straight slider for better flow don't think it's better, a curve one is fine
00:53:392 (1) - Slider tail it would be awkward if the slider tail points like that
00:58:743 (1) - ^ the slider tail is fine here and it takes the position of 00:57:446 (1)
00:59:716 (6,1) - Blanket
01:01:500 (2,3) - ^
01:02:635 (1) - Slider tail fixed
01:03:284 (2,3) - Blanket
01:05:716 (2) - Slider tail (I'll stop since you should get the idea) fixed, some are not that required but I'll take it into consideration
01:08:797 (1,2) - Blanket
01:14:635 (2,4) - ^
01:21:446 (3,1) - ^
01:25:987 (1,2) - ^
01:26:960 (3,4) - ^ I'll stop with these as well
01:32:311 (4,5) - What's with this sudden jump? not that sudden, it's just got along with the lyrics here
01:46:743 (1) - Make this arch downwards instead (Ctrl+H, Ctrl+J, Ctrl+G) umm, not here
01:47:554 (2,1,2,3) - Bad flow how?, but I'll keep that in mind
02:04:419 (2,3,4) - Have the triplet go in the same direction as the follow point as I said before changed it to look like the one in the intro
02:19:824 (3,4,5,6) - Bad flow not for me
02:39:608 (3) - Rotate by 40 degrees selection centre straightened the slider
02:42:689 (5) - Move the end anchor point to X:195 Y:162 moved
02:49:338 (3,4) - Bad flow swapped (2) with (3)
02:51:608 (1) - Make this a Ctrl+G'd copy of 02:51:284 (6) maybe not
02:53:230 (6,1) - Flow (5) slider changed
02:54:041 (3,1) - ^ fixed some of the sliders, but I don't think there's a problem with the flow
03:03:770 (6,7) - ^ don't think it's a problem here as well
03:22:419 (4,5) - ^ here as well
03:27:122 (3,4,5) - Triplet direction not changed
03:33:122 (1) - Remove middle anchor point going to keep it curved

I still keep the style of the triples, it seems fine to me maybe because it's somehow like that in Idola no Circus (https://osu.ppy.sh/s/147177)
Good luck! Thank you

Here's my part of our M4M :3

[General]
  • Put your GD-er's full name into tags (bestza55567)

[Summertime]
  • The OD can be higher, we are on an Insane after all. At least 7 or even higher could work.
    Same goes with the HP

Just wondering why 00:20:635 (3,4,5) - and 00:20:960 (6,7,1) - have different spacings... Tbh, I would have stacked the second one, since there is a really strong beat on slider's head which gets a little wasted with a stream imo

00:26:635 (2) - The passage 2 --> 3 feels a bit forced and doesn't flow well as the rest of your map till now. Try using 124:28 for this object and see if it fits your idea (you can even stack it under the previous object's end)

00:29:878 (3) - I'd rather click the last beat of this object, like you did for the pattern above ^. Remove the repeat and add a circle at 256:196. It should keep a good flow with the next pattern and emphasize the beat I mentioned

00:33:608 (3,4) - This isn't consistent with all the other similar patterns, like 00:32:311 (3,4) - . See if you can increase the spacing

00:35:554 (2) - This is a really forced pattern imo: there isn't really a flow, I'd say it is more like a simple line here. Maybe try something like this

00:42:527 (3,4,5) - Being 3 --> 4 larger than 4 --> 5 you lose emphasis on that beat I mentioned for 00:33:608 (3,4) - . Try to increase spacing here too to make it consistent (probably even 00:42:851 (5,1) - is too small...)

    00:55:014 (2) - Probably you don't need this whistle...

    00:55:176 (4) - Missing whistle?

Ugh... ok, from now on your whistles start to be a bit screwed up... As long as you place them each 2 measures it should be fine, so try to keep that rhythm

00:52:743 - Maybe add a circle at 200:192? (Just personal preference)

    00:59:716 (6) - Ctrl + G for a better flow?

01:01:176 (1,2,3) - Maybe use 2 as a center for a mirroring: like this maybe

01:03:122 - Again, this missing notes breaks up the rythm, so what about a circle at 132:140?

01:05:230 (1) - Another Ctrl + G for a better flow with the next object?

01:24:689 (1,2,3,4) - This pattern feels a bit unclean, I mean, there aren't many solid basis, just flow. What about this? (3 stacked under 1)

    01:32:473 (5) - Ctrl + G ? + 01:32:960 (6) - Another Ctrl + G ?

01:49:338 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Woohoo, what's this large spacing out of the blue. This is really too much imo

02:02:311 (1) - Ctrl + G to keep the oval flow's direction of the other sliders in the same combo?

02:19:662 (2,4) - Was that supposed to be a stack of any sort? xD If not, please increase the spacing, if yes, stack them properly

02:25:662 (1,2) - + 02:25:987 (2,3) - Spacing inconsistency: as you can see, between the first 2 objects you have 1/1 while between the last t2 you have 1/2 yet the spacing is visually the same. Try to fix this by increasing the spacing between the first 2 objects (or decrease it between the last 2, but it's not recommended)

    03:07:176 (8) - Imo, you don't need this

    03:34:581 (2,3) - Ctrl + G?

03:43:987 (2,3,4) - I just have an alternative pattern for this one, since there is a waste in beat of the end of the slider: Here

03:51:284 - End? .-. I'd rather finish where you set your second bookmark. After your spinner there still is a long kiai time which you waste D:
Generally speaking, this map isn't bad: it has good flow overall and I like it, but some passages are really forced on the player and compared to the flow of the map they feel really off (and I mentioned most of them, I hope).
Another "issue" (if we can call it that way) is regarding some general constructions of your patterns: some of your objects give me the idea that you placed them where they are just because they had a good flow there. While I do agree on that I can't agree on leaving just that a reason to place them. Try to give the while pattern a meaning, like a geometrical figure or something the player can recognize easily while playing: it will give a better impression.

[55567's Insane]
  • OD and HP can be increase here too. It's still an Insane, so at least use something like 7 for both

00:42:527 (3,4) - If you want to put such jump in the middle of the combo I'd suggest to do something like 00:09:446 (1,2,3,4,5) - or avoid the jump completely, otherwise the player gets confused with 00:37:176 (2,3,4,5) -

    01:23:392 - Break? o.O I don't think it fits there, really...

01:46:095 - Please, add a circle here, otherwise the rhythm screws up after so many 1/1 pauses

01:48:689 - Same ^ (same goes for all the other pauses of 1/1 you have after a 1/1 slider with repeat. It really breaks down the rhythm too much)

    01:54:041 (5,6,7) - Intentional "half stack"?

    02:33:608 (1) - I think this normal-hitnormal should go on 02:33:122 (4) - 's tail

    02:37:662 (2,3) - Another intentional half stack?

02:56:149 (4,1) - Short spacing killer D: Why such spacing now? I mean, there isn't really any reason to do so...\

    03:21:933 (5,6) - This overlap would have been fine if it wasn't for 03:22:743 (1) - . Maybe move 03:22:419 (6,1) - a bit to the bottom

    03:39:284 (4) - What about stacking this on top of 03:38:797 (2) - ?

    03:48:689 (10) - NC?

03:51:284 - Same as for the other Insane, it is a waste to finish here. Finish it at the last bookmark you have
Nice map, tidy and flow-ish.
Good job

[Hard]
  • 00:17:878 (7,1) - Not so cool overlap

    01:13:014 (1,2) - Ugh, this feels really odd to play. What about adding a circle stacked on 1 at 01:13:176 - and a Ctrl + G on 01:13:338 (2) - ?

01:55:338 - This note may help read the next 2 notes, since as they are now, the reprise from 01:55:500 (3) - onward feels rushed

02:25:176 (3,1) - If possible try to avoid such anti-jumps. Even with 3/2 of time to read it it's still a bit hard for this difficulty imo

    02:34:419 (3,4) - Sudden DS decrease, why? .-.

02:35:716 (1) - Better stack it under the previous object wherever you're going to move it, this way it will feel more natural to speed up

02:46:257 (4,2) - Another not so cool overlap

03:02:635 - There is a note on the vocals you mapped before but you here skip, why?

03:38:149 (6,1) - I wonder if players on this level can catch this...

03:51:284 - Same as for the other diffs

HP and OD can be increased once again

[Normal]
  • 01:48:041 (3,2) - Little overlap I'd rather avoid...

    01:51:933 (1,3) - Same ^

Those settings are way too low for a Normal: AR should be at least 5, while OD and HP can be increased but I guess they are fine in this case (you should still increase them imo)

Ok, I have a lot of concerns on the gap between Normal and Hard: it's hella huge.
The Hard has quite often some 1/4 triplets, while the Normal has barely any 1/2 at all: consider making a new Normal (harder than the current one) and making a proper Easy. The BPM is pretty high and you can't cut it short like this just because it takes time to make an extra diff :/

That's all from me, good luck~

02:49:014 (1,2) - ^, also DS slightly off
03:23:068 (2,3) - blanket
03:26:960 - map this note maybe?
03:31:824 (4,1) - stack directly on top

Hard
-For future reference, I think you could use a higher slider SV Yeah, I know but it seems a little bit too late. But if the problem does grow I might remap this - Thanks
-I think hard difficulties should contain fewer breaks throughout the song. 00: 31:500 - contrary to the opening sequence, I think there should be fewer breaks within the lyrical portion (can change from song to song though) I'll change some of this, but mostly I fixed the beats on the drums, but I agree that in some parts I should follow the lyrics rather than the drums
00:12:365 (4,5,6) - this DS looks weird to me yep, it's weird, fixed
00:11:230 - map this note? umm, no but I'll keep that in mind
00:15:770 (5,6) - overmapped removed
00:16:906 (3,4) - blanket fixed
00:18:527 (1,2) - flow doesnt look good fixed
00:24:203 - map this note? maybe I'll keep on to the drums here
00:30:203 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - i think this is a good place for jumps (if they already are, then make them bigger) okay, a star jump then
01:17:878 (3,1) - blanket fixed
01:34:581 (5,1) - ^ fixed
01:35:554 (3,4) - ^ fixed
01:48:365 (2,3,4) - make them all the same DS, 2 is farther from 3 than 3 is to 4 fixed
02:00:365 (3,4) - i think it would look better if you moved them farther apart fixed
02:38:635 (1,2) - blanket fixed
02:39:770 (1,4) - i think you should move 2 and 3 up, then stack these nice - I'll do it
03:35:716 (1,2) - dont like how this looks, maybe move 1 down and lead more into 2 improved the blanket so it might look better?

Summertime
00:21:770 (3,4) - blanket fixed
00:24:284 (3) - overmapped I think it's okay here since it's the hardest diff but I'll remove some of it then
00:34:014 (6) - overmapped removed
00:39:243 - lyrics starts here (1/8 tick), that happens for a lot of the song actually yeah, I know that but I'm going to stick to the music for an easier play
00:43:743 (4) - overmapped maybe considered to be removed later, but not now
01:03:284 (2,1) - maybe you could move them farther apart I don't think I can here, I quite locked up myself here
01:06:689 (1) - curve less for better flow into 2? made a two way blanket on (3)
01:35:878 (5) - overmapped I'll keep this one
01:36:203 (6) - ^ I'll keep this one (it's a pair)
01:37:906 (3) - ^ removed
00:55:014 (2,3) - ^ I'll keep this one
00:57:203 (5) - ^ maybe considered to be removed later, but not now
00:57:284 (7) - ^ maybe considered to be removed later, but not now
00:58:662 (7) - ^ im going to stop pointing those out, go through your 1/4 beats on 25% playback I'm going to stick to the drums here
01:43:987 - map this note? I removed it two mods before, so I'll just leave it like that
-I dont have much experience with maps as hard as this, sorry I couldnt catch flow/jump stuffs. But I think what tripped me up most was the constantly changing DS, just putting it out there. That was very useful - Thank you very much!!

Good luck, and thanks for your business! Thank you too

Here's my part of our M4M :3

[General]
  • Put your GD-er's full name into tags (bestza55567) - he named the difficulty as this one, Should I rename it? so that I'll ask him

[Summertime]
  • The OD can be higher, we are on an Insane after all. At least 7 or even higher could work.
Same goes with the HP - OD7, HP6

Just wondering why 00:20:635 (3,4,5) - and 00:20:960 (6,7,1) - have different spacings... Tbh, I would have stacked the second one, since there is a really strong beat on slider's head which gets a little wasted with a stream imo - fixed

00:26:635 (2) - The passage 2 --> 3 feels a bit forced and doesn't flow well as the rest of your map till now. Try using 124:28 for this object and see if it fits your idea (you can even stack it under the previous object's end) - okay, this is the second time mentioned : changed

00:29:878 (3) - I'd rather click the last beat of this object, like you did for the pattern above ^. Remove the repeat and add a circle at 256:196. It should keep a good flow with the next pattern and emphasize the beat I mentioned - changed the whole jump pattern to a geometrical shape as you said in the end

00:33:608 (3,4) - This isn't consistent with all the other similar patterns, like 00:32:311 (3,4) - . See if you can increase the spacing - spacings increased a bit here

00:35:554 (2) - This is a really forced pattern imo: there isn't really a flow, I'd say it is more like a simple line here. Maybe try something like this - Thanks, this is really nice

00:42:527 (3,4,5) - Being 3 --> 4 larger than 4 --> 5 you lose emphasis on that beat I mentioned for 00:33:608 (3,4) - . Try to increase spacing here too to make it consistent (probably even 00:42:851 (5,1) - is too small...) - fixed

00:55:014 (2) - Probably you don't need this whistle... - re-working on the histsounds, all of them

    00:55:176 (4) - Missing whistle?

Ugh... ok, from now on your whistles start to be a bit screwed up... As long as you place them each 2 measures it should be fine, so try to keep that rhythm

00:52:743 - Maybe add a circle at 200:192? (Just personal preference) - it might be handy later, I'll keep this suggestion even I didn't take it

    00:59:716 (6) - Ctrl + G for a better flow? - yep, it does

01:01:176 (1,2,3) - Maybe use 2 as a center for a mirroring: like this maybe - made it like this

01:03:122 - Again, this missing notes breaks up the rythm, so what about a circle at 132:140? - There are nothing here, maybe I don't want to overmap here

    01:05:230 (1) - Another Ctrl + G for a better flow with the next object? - okay

01:24:689 (1,2,3,4) - This pattern feels a bit unclean, I mean, there aren't many solid basis, just flow. What about this? (3 stacked under 1) - made it like this

    01:32:473 (5) - Ctrl + G ? + 01:32:960 (6) - Another Ctrl + G ? - maybe not right here

01:49:338 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Woohoo, what's this large spacing out of the blue. This is really too much imo - Thanks here, I've never noticed that, fixed now

02:02:311 (1) - Ctrl + G to keep the oval flow's direction of the other sliders in the same combo? - will keep in mind

02:19:662 (2,4) - Was that supposed to be a stack of any sort? xD If not, please increase the spacing, if yes, stack them properly - stacked

02:25:662 (1,2) - + 02:25:987 (2,3) - Spacing inconsistency: as you can see, between the first 2 objects you have 1/1 while between the last t2 you have 1/2 yet the spacing is visually the same. Try to fix this by increasing the spacing between the first 2 objects (or decrease it between the last 2, but it's not recommended) - right, so I just stacked (1) on top of the slider

03:07:176 (8) - Imo, you don't need this - I think it does as it represents the hi-hat closing sound and completes the pattern

    03:34:581 (2,3) - Ctrl + G? - will keep in mind

03:43:987 (2,3,4) - I just have an alternative pattern for this one, since there is a waste in beat of the end of the slider: Here - nice one, Thanks

03:51:284 - End? .-. I'd rather finish where you set your second bookmark. After your spinner there still is a long kiai time which you waste D: - I think it's okay here as I don't think I can map on the guitar solo

[Hard]
  • 00:17:878 (7,1) - Not so cool overlap - fixed

01:13:014 (1,2) - Ugh, this feels really odd to play. What about adding a circle stacked on 1 at 01:13:176 - and a Ctrl + G on 01:13:338 (2) - ? - didn't do that, but the pattern was fixed

01:55:338 - This note may help read the next 2 notes, since as they are now, the reprise from 01:55:500 (3) - onward feels rushed - added a circle at 01:55:500

02:25:176 (3,1) - If possible try to avoid such anti-jumps. Even with 3/2 of time to read it it's still a bit hard for this difficulty imo - changed to a 1/2 slider

    02:34:419 (3,4) - Sudden DS decrease, why? .-. - fixed

02:35:716 (1) - Better stack it under the previous object wherever you're going to move it, this way it will feel more natural to speed up - will keep that in mind

02:46:257 (4,2) - Another not so cool overlap - fixed

03:02:635 - There is a note on the vocals you mapped before but you here skip, why? - don't know why but I surely map it now :)

03:38:149 (6,1) - I wonder if players on this level can catch this... -agreed, pattern fixed

03:51:284 - Same as for the other diffs - same as well

HP and OD can be increased once again - will be reconsidered

[Normal]
  • 01:48:041 (3,2) - Little overlap I'd rather avoid... - fixed

    01:51:933 (1,3) - Same ^ - fixed

Those settings are way too low for a Normal: AR should be at least 5, while OD and HP can be increased but I guess they are fine in this case (you should still increase them imo)

Ok, I have a lot of concerns on the gap between Normal and Hard: it's hella huge.
The Hard has quite often some 1/4 triplets, while the Normal has barely any 1/2 at all: consider making a new Normal (harder than the current one) and making a proper Easy. The BPM is pretty high and you can't cut it short like this just because it takes time to make an extra diff :/ - now I'm thinking about making the normal an Easy while adding another Normal around 2.3-2.5 stars to fix this gap

That's all from me, good luck~
Thank you very much

00:30:851 (4,1) – Blanket fix?

hi modding dis

[Normal]
  1. 00:12:365 (3) - the snare here is quite loud and you have all your slider ends covering snares so move 00:11:716 (2) to 00:12:041. Then add a note 00:11:716
  2. 00:45:770 (3) - Perhaps turning (3) into a slider..?
  3. 00:27:608 (3) - change the angle for better flow
    OR
  4. 00:45:770 (3,4) - DS
  5. 01:01:014 (2) - the position of this note really breaks down flow. I recommend moving it to 312x 220y and re-pattern from there
  6. 02:50:311 (3) - turn this into a slider and a note
  7. 02:38:311 (4) - NC

[Hard]
  1. 00:26:311 (1) - turn into slider
  2. 00:31:014 (6) - reduce DS. The spacing here seems like an Insane
  3. 03:05:716 (1) - Delete NC
  4. 03:21:446 (5) - Have a slider here. It would match both the vocals and guitar
  5. 03:48:527 (2) - Turn this into 3 notes? It is the end of a song so you can end it on a harder to play pattern

Your hard diff is pretty good but your normal does have a few problems in flow

Anyways I hope this mod was useful. GL

Okay, after considering all the problems, I'll grave this thread for a short period of time as I'll remap most of the mapset
I'll bring it back to you as soon as possible :(
