Hi there. Sorry for my late reply (you asked for a mod request in June).

Whatever I say is my opinion so you do not have to follow it if you want to. Changes are separated into boxes.

General Changes
None needed so far.
Easy
1) I don't know whether to go with AR 0. It may be slow. Try experiment with ar 1-3 and see which one fits, or just stick with AR 0.

Everything else seems fine.

Normal
1) 00:46:963 Shift the note down. New coordinates: x: 336, y: 140

2) 00:47:213 Stack the note on the next slider. Makes more sense when playing the map.
3) I feel that you should have hitclaps every 2nd and 4th white ticks (small ones).

4) 01:23:546 Copy the shape of the previous slider.

5) 01:36:212 Make it look better:




Hard
1) 00:21:546 Copy the slider at 00:20:213 because it looks really good.

2) 00:36:213 and the rest of the combo. Right now it does not look right. Try this:
3) I feel that you should have hitclaps every 2nd and 4th white ticks (small ones).

4) 00:41:213 The repeating slider. While this rhythm pattern works, it looks awkward. I would remove the repeat, and just copy the pattern and place it like so:

Insane
1) 00:14:380 Shift the slider to the right. New coordinates are x: 36, y: 124

2) 00:14:880 I would copy the slider at 00:14:380 and place it like so for symmetry.
3) 00:18:880 The current shape looks weird to me so I would just make it a simple curve.
4) 240 Bpm section: 00:40:463 and every 2nd and 4th white tick in this section. Shouldn't you add hitclaps to the music to make it more interesting and provide feedback for the player?

5) 00:39:713 Shift this note up. New coordinates are x: 388, y: 114

6) 00:39:838 Shift the slider up as well. New coordinates are x: 388, y: 195. If you made changes based on points 5 and 6, you get this:
. It looks a whole lot better compared to the previous position imo.

7) 00:41:213 This overlaps slider 3 in the combo and does not look good. I would move it away from the slider like so and remove the overlap (in this instance I rotated the slider but you do not have to)
8) 00:52:213 The shape is weird but the more important problem is that there it looks cramped with the shape, which ruins the flow of the map. I would go with a simple blanket curve:
If not, try a shape or position it such that it does not feel cramped there.

9) 00:54:713 The slider is just brushing the edge of the playfield. I would shift it up by 5 to 10 pixels. Other instances where it occurs: 01:15:212 The single notes.

10) 01:32:212 See point 7

11) 01:08:712 Move the note up a little bit so it does not touch the previous slider. Try and avoid overlaps as it can get messy.

Final thoughts: The map is really really cool. When playing the insane I got caught out at the last bit but still fun and feels like a proper insane difficulty. Hitsounding is a little bit of an issue and placement of the notes on the playfield is a small issue as well. However everything else is spot on.

We have found some potential issues that we feel are important enough to address before continuing:

Insane

Inappropriate Spacing

  • The following pattern use illogical Distance Spacing changes which are not supported by the song and feel agressively forced/unnatural. The best way to resolve the issue is to re-consider your distance spacing usage.
  1. 00:13:546 (5,6,7) -
  2. 00:16:213 (4,5,6) -
  3. 00:43:213 (5,6,7) -

If you disagree with these suggestions, please reply to this thread justifying why so we can discuss alternatives.

Otherwise, please reply to this thread when these issues are resolved.

  1. 비디오가 어떻게 생겼는지는 모르겠습니다만, 어두운 BG에 어두운 콤보 컬러를 사용하셔서 궁합이 잘 맞지 않네요. 특히 진한 파랑은 거의 안보일 정도여서.. 개인적으로 콤보 컬러들 조금 더 밝게 설정하시는 것을 추천합니다.

  1. 그냥 앞으로 매핑하시면서 기억해 주셨으면 하는 부분인데, 이 맵의 경우에 2/1의 박자 간격이 있지만 그 만큼 배치상의 간격이 너무 긴 경우도 많습니다. 오스 초심자들에게 이런 먼 간격은 부담으로 다가오므로 다음 부터는 간격 좀 가깝게 만들어주세요.

  1. 00:28:213 (1) - I got some opinions from #modhelp that this slider looked quite sloppy. So, to improve the aesthetics and neatness, try this kind of slider positioning. It would look better:
  2. 00:39:713 (5,1) - Well, the spacing here made a little gap by 0.04x. Since you've used 1.1x over this diff, try it here.
  3. 01:14:879 (1,2) - This might be the same as above.
  4. 01:39:546 (1,2) - Why would this be 1.2x spacing?! I bet this would be mistaken or sth.
  5. - Sorry for being a little picky on the object spacings, but just trying to polish things up.

  1. 00:21:380 (3,4) - For consistency's sake, you haven't stacked any notes like this one. Since this is the only stacking in the intro, it's best to unstack them for better cursor movement on game play.
  2. 00:48:963 (2,3) - You could've done sth really interesting here, instead of linear and straight sliders. Try sth like this (in the box below), to adjust smoother flows and cooler game play. Just a sample, you don't need to use exactly the same as this:
  3. 01:06:879 (1) - This flow is quite pretty linear, it's fine and solid. But I prefer curving this slider for an improved flow for the smoothness cursor movement.
  4. 01:42:879 (3) - You could've rotate this 16° clockwise for nicer flowing, or might be a blanket at least.
  5. 01:46:379 - This inherited point doesn't look like it's used for some star fountains or sth. So I suggest removing it.
  6. - Quite a solid diff, I can't tell but to mention a few flows.

  4. 01:01:546 (1,2,3) - I don't know, But this doesn't really play great imo. It's just too linear, I bet you should use a better pattern formation for this kind of part and rhythm. Try sth like this, as a sample. It can improve flows and patterning greatly, A sample:
  5. 01:11:879 (3,4,1) - You were trying to stress up the incoming downbeat by using slightly and progressing higher spacing but the difference is so low that it is not really noticeable. It doesn't really look enough imo, I'm not gonna say "increase the spacing" or some stuff like that. It's just an indication.
  6. 01:17:212 (8,9,10,1) - Circle (9) somewhat doesn't follow any hi-hats you're trying to follow in the song track. But in the other hand, it's actually on 01:17:379 - , so yeah. Try moving there to produce better rhythm and good emphasis with the song's rhythm and yours. Don't forget to balance up the spacing after moving it.

  8. - Another solid and good diff, It seems like you wanted to put jumps but didn't quite do it well on some parts you'd like to add a few little jumps on the intense beats. Anyway, the mapping is fine.

  1. 00:43:963 (8,1,2) - This would also face disqualification of having an incorrect spacing. Since (8) and (1) have a few gap, but suddenly (1) and (2) gets really short even though the song track is still intense enough. So maybe you should increase the spacing here for an equal balance spacing.
  2. 00:47:963 (4) - Pretty minor; you could move this a little far left to avoid this tiny overlap. Take care with the spacing too.
  3. 00:52:713 (3,4,5) - This'd be the same as 00:43:963 (8,1,2) -, just don't backfire any more spacing issues.
  4. - Likely almost the same comment as the previous diff, you had some issues on jumps being at the verse, not at the stronger parts. You should reconsider checking those spacing and rebalance them. By the looks of this diff, it still needs a few mods for aesthetics and basic spacings in harder diffs.

That's not really all, get me back for a recheck once you're done!
