"Niva"
Hi grumd!~
As I said in our in-game PM yesterday I haven't done a full mod for two and a half years so to be honest I'm not really that confident of my modding nowadays... I'll try not to disappoint, though :
[General]
-> Add 'bangarang renai circulation' to tags?
added except of "circulation", it's in the title
-> There are inconsistency in the Widescreen Support setting, as the Insane diff has its Widescreen Support disabled while the others have it enabled
disabled it everywhere, also disabled countdown
-> I personally feel the gap between Insane and Expert is quite huge though - perhaps an additional Extra diff would work in-between as the gap's filler? idk o.o and so is the gap between insane and hard, and so is the gap between hard and normal. basically, the gaps between diffs are maybe big, but almost equal. at least star difficuties differ by 1.5 stars. if i'd add a new Extra, i'd need to add something between insane and hard and a new easy or normal+ of some sort. i don't want to add tons of diffs :c i might maybe make insane and hard a bit harder to smooth the spread, but i don't want to add many diffs
[Expert]
-> This is just a suggestion, but I really feel that parts like 00:09:735 (8,9) - could be emphasized a lot more / made to be a standout compared to the others due to this part's unique sounding... An usage of 3/4 sliders or sliders with a different (lower / higher) SV would work beautiful here imo - here's an outcome of my experiment for example, feel free to try and see if you liked it http://i.cubeupload.com/VxDPp8.jpg
this was hard to do, but i did something. had to rearrange some patterns. i didn't follow your rhythm since 3/4 doesn't fit on the second slider, but it does fit on the first. also i didn't change sv. honetly, this part doesn't sound THAT outstanding to change too much, but some rhythm changes were good, they gave me the variety
-> Consider using Tick Rate 2 here? I know it'll only affect a single slider throughout the diff (00:47:735 (4) -) but if you listened carefully there are a hi-hat sound from the song at 00:47:985 - and the slider tick's sound - when applied - beautifully blends in there with the hi-hat~
well yep, i use tick 2 on all diffs now
-> Also, I do believe that the rapid triples here on the chorus on can be experimented further in a fun way by applying manual stacks such as http://i.cubeupload.com/1a7M0p.jpg - really, it's fun!
nah, i didn't even manually stack those. editor now does it on his own. i just feel like the usual stack everywhere is the best classic solution. i never liked those different ways of stacking, they confuse me while playing
...umm, I'll just leaving this here for now and edit the post little by little over time - I'm really sorry if I can't do a fast mod anymore orz ._. (I have to go for now, though)
I hope my mod's helpful though - it feels great actually to be helping people this way again after a long time (:
the mod was helpful a lot, thank you, my modding god

- 00:04:235 (1,2,3,4) - Consider manual stacking the notes here so that overlap with (5) won't happen? Something like the image below perhaps also worked, idk (:
that (5) was 10 years ago, nobody really will notice that. or what (5) are you talking about? i don't really wanna change to the thing you screenshotted, too tricky for this slow part - 00:05:235 (1,2,3,4) - Same as above
- 00:07:235 (1) - Consider using a bigger jump here (something like the image below perhaps)? Your current pattern is basically a sudden spacing change from 1.7x to 2.0x and while it's still readable it can be misleading sometimes (plus a jump emphasizes the dubstep's strong drop a lot more, imo)
did what you suggested - 00:08:985 (5) - Just a small suggestion, to make this looks more natural perhaps move this a tiny bit more to the left (~x:351 y:142 would suffice I think) and then re-shape the slider to encircle (3) perfectly?
i very rarely encircle objects, here the intention was to place a slider in the triangle of 1-2-3 - 00:09:735 (8,9) - Stated above
- 00:11:985 (9) - CTRL + G? Basically this is so the players kept their jumping momentum throughout (8,9,1) as your current (9,1) anti-jump feels quite awkward imo after (8,9)'s jump ._.
if you look closely, you'll see that 00:11:235 (6) - is a high-pitched note, and 00:11:235 (6) - is a low-pitched note, so i was slowly decreasing jump sizes from 00:11:610 (7) - to 00:11:985 (9) - to emphasize the downstream of pitch. something like that - 00:12:985 (4) - Make this slider's end stacked to 00:11:985 (9) - ? Just a suggestion though (:
i don't like such things because they make no sense in-game, nobody will notice this while playing. and i like the current pattern with (3) overlapping (4) - 00:13:485 (6,7,8) - Again with the CTRL + G here, but in addition of that consider using a 120-degree rotation like this perhaps?
this is the "stated above" case, i added 3/4 here so your suggestion doesn't work - 00:18:610 (2) - Missing whistle on slider's head here? (refer to 00:11:235 (6)'s hitsounding)
these are different parts in terms of hitsounds, but this whistle doesn't make it worse so i added it (didn't add in other diffs though) - 00:19:485 (6) - Suggestion, add a slight downward curve so that (7) will be 'encircled' somehow? Feels more beautiful this way imo~
yep seems fine - 00:22:610 (4) - Make this encircle the next (7) here for aesthetics?
nope, it must fit the (5) slider shape - 00:27:235 (8,9,10) - To avoid clustering too much here imo it's better to make these three not touching the (4) - I tested this simple pattern as below for example and it already played well :
did something similar - 00:31:235 (8,9) - Another small suggestion, make these encircle (5) like this? (works well with your next (10) too!~)
as i said i rarely encircle, but this time i like it - 00:38:235 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - Rearranging this bit by a tiny margin wil actually provide a neat star pattern - really (:
i usually prefer nice playability and angles to bigger patterns, but changed this one anyway. now i don't like few angles (since horizontal and vertical lines etc, but it looks cool - 00:40:735 (2) - Try clap instead of finish on slider's start, considering there are a clapping sound from the music here? (or just use clap + finish at the same time, it works well too imo)
doesnt sound like a clap for me at all honestly - 00:44:985 (6) - Perhaps consider using (1)'s shape here after being flipped (CTRL + J CTRL + H), as it - aside from bringing further consistency - also encircled (3) in a fancy way here?
for some unknown reason i wanted to use 1 straight and 1 curved slider in each measure of this part ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - 00:47:735 (4) - Refer to the tick rate 2 suggestion above~
- 00:48:735 (2) - Same as 00:40:735 (2)
- 01:01:235 (1,3,4) - Small suggestion here, these three can actually be made to encircle (2) without harming your current pattern at all like this :
nope, this is my christmas tree pattern :v top secret - 01:02:235 (1) - Consider using Sampleset : Auto Addition : Drum here and then add Finish?
yeah changed in all diffs, idk why whistle here - 01:10:235 (1) - Same as above
