The only funny anime I've watched was Nichijou so that's kind of a freebie

Azumanga Daioh was charming, but I didn't think it was funny

No show has made me laugh harder than both seasons of Ai-Mai-Mi. It is complete nonsense; nevertheless it is absolutely hilarious and the fact that each episode is only 3 minutes means you can get through both seasons fairly quickly.
