nope. I didn't touch the score...but after rerank, only the score of A32's Challenging remains. This might be a bug.

How did this get ranked with slider tick rate 1 !? this is unreadable... needs TR2
I have talked with other staff members and yea, that's true. I'm sorry but the mapset needs to be unranked again ;_;
Actually with slider tick 1 SV changes are unreadable, this is an example 00:42:567 (1,1) - but it is the same for other parts.

EDIT: sadly scores needs to be reset as well because slider tick change implies max combo change

First of all, set a Slider Tick Rate 2.

BakaNA
  1. I'm not touching your style, not touching the overmap. Let it be. I'll only talk about readability or useless speedups.
  2. 01:09:267 (1) - 01:11:667 (1) - Music has nothing special here. It doesn't get higher, faster or stronger. These speedups are just your imagination, the only thing they do is confusing. Remove the speed up here.
  3. 01:15:567 (1,2) - Here the only excuse is finish sound. Yeah, this is something kinda special for the music, so the speedups can fit. But don't forget to fix the slider tick rate, it's the only thing that makes this readable.
In general, I'd not suggest to use 2.0x speedups. It looks exactly the same as usual 1.0x, but is actually faster. This brings the biggest confusions into osu!, try to place 1.5x or 1.7x instead. But this is in general, your choice to use 2.0x here is fine.
  4. 02:14:967 (1) - Well. Two similar sliders before, but twice faster... That is confusing. Slider ticks make it a bit better, but still... You should change this slider's shape. If this one is different from others, they will not confuse so much.
  5. 02:46:617 (2) - Placing this one at the same distance as previous two is a bad idea too, it looks too similar to previous rhythm. Make it closer for better readability: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/584050
  6. 02:59:817 (2,3) - I'd make something similar here too: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/584052
  7. 03:32:367 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This part is the most intensive in the whole map. You really should reduce these jumps. It's too much. Edit: go check Aqo's post below, he provides a nice idea of a fitting fix.
  8. 03:54:192 (1) - To make this slowdown more readable, I'd add a new combo to the circle (2) and would make them closer to each other. This reduces the change in speeds to something more lenient. http://puu.sh/1SF6j
Lunatic
  1. 00:47:767 (8,9,1) - This 1/3 is unreadable. Different snapping is always unreadable if not shown directly by obvious rhythm consistencies or sliders. We have never seen before that this song has some 1/3s, so it's impossible to predict. Just replace 1/3s with sliders, it will make it clear. I'd make it like that: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/584068
  2. 02:01:467 (2,3,4,5) - This rhythm is actually very hard to read. The anti-jump under the slider is quite bad and meh. Just redo this part without stacking that all under the slider.
  3. 02:02:442 (7) - This way of placing the repeating slider is bad. Here you start a slider from a blue point, but it's offbeat and fits the rhythm poorly. It's better to place a circle there, but starting repeating slider from the next line, white or red tick: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/584081
  4. 03:07:017 (4,5,1) - This is unreadable. 4-5 and 5-1 positions are exactly the same, but the rhythm is totally different. I suggest you to stack (1) under (5) and (2) under (4).
  5. 03:14:067 (7,8,9) - Again, that's quite hard to read due to lack of 1/3s and huge amount of 1/4s. Just replace this by a slider.
Well, that's all for now, I have to sleep now... Will continue later.
wonders
I LVOE THESE SV CHANGES, HOPE NO FIX. :(
Aqo
ahaha I didn't mean that the sv changes or the jumps need to be toned down... with slider tick rate you can read any sort of speedup since: on TR2, slider with no ticks: move from start to end on 1/2 tempo. On slider with one tick: move in 1/1 tempo. Not hard to read, even with extreme 50%~200% changes. But with TR1 it's impossible to distinguish 1/2 and 1/1 slider so that was the only problem (TR1 = completely impossible to read = problem. TR2 = Hard but possible = not problem).

grumd you wrote some suggestion like to tone down from 2x to 1.5x and to tone down intensity of 03:32:367. I do agree that 03:32:367 felt awkwardly too hard compared to rest of map BUT this *is* readable and playable and it's the mapper choice, so something like this is opinion and doesn't have to be changed (basically what I'm saying here is: I do think it would be better off toned down BUT this kind of thing IS FINE and it's mapper choice, mappers shouldn't be forced to change their maps due to difficulty as long as it's playable)

However the problem in 03:32:367 is the fact that timestamp is overmapped. 03:33:042 (7,8) - those two objects are misleading because 03:32:967 this is a jump when in fact in the song there is a drum hit here which is the most clear hit, making the player want to click here if he plays by the music.

The main drum hits are on:
03:32:367 (1)
03:32:592 (3)
03:32:817 (5)
03:32:967
03:33:042 (7)

Those five. And then there are silent ones around them. I feel this part is not hard because of the spacing but because of how the timing there works. Had there been another circle on 03:32:967 everything will be a lot more clear, but then you have to remove 1 jump. You can remove the circle 03:32:892 (6) and then make the jump there instead if you want to keep it, and then the timing will be a lot more intuitive with the song.

  2. 02:01:467 (2,3,4,5) - This rhythm is actually very hard to read. The anti-jump under the slider is quite bad and meh. Just redo this part without stacking that all under the slider. okay, i moved (5) to cover with the previous combo (7)'s start.
  3. 02:02:442 (7) - This way of placing the repeating slider is bad. Here you start a slider from a blue point, but it's offbeat and fits the rhythm poorly. It's better to place a circle there, but starting repeating slider from the next line, white or red tick: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/584081 thanks for advice, changed.

personally, i think the sv changes on BakaNA is fine. but they are all depend on what bakabaka think. :3
grumd
I don't ask to change speedups to 1.5x. 2.0x is fine as long as: 1. You set Tick Rate 2; 2. They fit the music.
The only speedups that don't make sense, that don't represent anything in the music are: 01:09:267 (1) - 01:11:667 (1) -

Taiko diffs do not need any Soft timing sections. Soft sampleset in taiko is not recommended to use ever. Please change that to Normal.

Taiko Guidelines wrote:

Custom Hitsound Volume
Keep volume at a constant level (e.g. 80%) with the beat still somewhat audible. Use the "Normal" audio sample set.
Other diffs are fine.

Double posting for the win.
The taiko oni has another kind of issue, it's about ticks on the drumroll. This thread explains: t/98917
This occurs here: 02:34:767 (291) -
But anyway, I think it's not the map's problem but an editor-sided issue. This should be fixed by dev team and not by the mapper. The slider is properly snapped and the pattern is fine. So I'll follow MMzz's opinion (p/1799240) and finally rebubble it!

Bubblie!

14:54 Strawberry: hey chewin~
14:54 Chewin: yo straww
14:54 Strawberry: http://osu.ppy.sh/s/59049 finally rebubed ;w;/
14:55 Chewin: well
14:55 Chewin: I will recheck it wait
14:55 Strawberry: yeaa.~ ty :>
15:01 Chewin: [normal]
15:01 Strawberry: yea
15:01 Chewin: 02:23:817 (1) - what about to move this slider 1/1 later so you can add a circle on the downbeat? I mean on 02:23:967
15:01 Chewin: it seems there is a missed sound there
15:02 Chewin: maybe circle with finish would sound nice :3
15:02 Strawberry: sounds good. added~ :p
15:02 Chewin: http://puu.sh/1TVlK
15:02 Chewin: oki
15:04 Chewin: 02:43:017 (1) - soft default finish (50% volume) on this slider tail to match that clash in the cymbals
15:04 Strawberry: changed :3
15:06 Chewin: 04:05:517 (1) - this spinner should start 1/2 earlier, the flute sound starts there
15:06 Chewin: and I'd say to end it on 04:07:467
15:07 Strawberry: yep
15:07 Strawberry: fixed
15:07 Chewin: 04:10:167 (1) - I highly suggest you to reduce it till the previous red line because 04:13:596 (1) - is placed too soon after the spinner for the easiest diff.. :\
15:08 Chewin: checking A32's diff now
15:08 Strawberry: ok, changed to end at 04:12:867 -
15:12 Chewin: 01:10:767 (2,3) - I'd stack them with 01:09:267 (4) - because it's bad to see in testmode
15:13 Chewin: 01:15:567 (2) - add finish to emphasize those cymbals
15:13 Strawberry: done~
15:14 Chewin: 01:15:567 (2) - this isn't easy to read and play to be honest with this low ar
15:14 Chewin: I just would place the 02:12:567 (3) - under the slider (2) to blanket it
15:16 Chewin: 02:23:967 (1) - what about to add 3 finished here, because of those cymbals
15:16 Strawberry: all fixed :3
15:16 Chewin: 02:44:367 (2) - what is this clap on the slider tail D: remove it, it sounds bad IMO
15:17 Strawberry: and also ctrl+g this slider 02:13:167 (1) for balance spacing
15:17 Chewin: drum sound should start from 02:45:567 (1) -
15:17 Chewin: nice
15:17 Chewin: it's better :4
15:17 Chewin: :3
15:19 Chewin: 03:29:967 (5) - new combo? :s squares are easier to play with new combo on each one
15:19 Strawberry: ok. added~
15:19 Chewin: 03:53:817 (5) - i'd set new combo here as well
15:20 Chewin: because of slowdown
15:20 Strawberry: done.~ :3
15:21 Chewin: 04:19:357 (1) - 5% volume on the end pls
15:21 Chewin: passing on the hard diff
15:22 Strawberry: x3
15:22 Chewin: 00:14:988 (5) - new combo to keep consistency with 4 elements
15:22 Strawberry: fixed~
15:23 Chewin: 00:56:217 (1) - whistle?
15:23 Strawberry: sounds good. added~
15:24 Chewin: 01:10:767 (5) - I was thinking that this slider had only 1 repeat.. what about to remove 1 repeat and add circle on 01:11:667?
15:25 Chewin: like you did for 01:13:167 (5) - for example
15:26 Chewin: 01:20:217 (6) - new combo? because of new flute sound, also I would remove it from 01:21:117 (1) - since the spacing is still the same ;3
15:26 Strawberry: yea.~ fixed
15:28 Chewin: 01:37:017 (7) - this circle with the next "small" break doesn't convince me to be honest.. I wanted to suggest you something like:puu.sh/1TVMo
15:28 Chewin: http://puu.sh/1TVMo
15:30 Chewin: 01:50:217 (6) - there is a sound on the downbeat you didn't map, mh.. I would make this rhythm in this other way: http://puu.sh/1TVOt
15:32 Chewin: 02:44:367 (5) - new combo removing it from 02:44:967 (1) -
15:32 Strawberry: all done~
15:33 Chewin: 03:46:467 (9) - x196 y84?
15:34 Strawberry: yea~ changed :3
15:34 Chewin: naisu, passing on lunatic diff
15:35 Chewin: 00:14:988 (6) - new combo?
15:36 Strawberry: added.
15:37 Chewin: 01:13:167 (7,1) - improve this stack?
15:38 Strawberry: oh, fixed xp
15:39 Chewin: a bit hard for a lunatic diff lol ;P
15:40 Strawberry: i think the hard diff can be a transition. x3
15:43 Chewin: 03:07:467 (1) - I'd avoid the stack with 03:07:167 (5) - because the 03:07:167 (5,1) - are snapped 1/1 while 03:07:017 (4,5) - are snapped 1/2 and you are using the same spacing even if it must be different
15:43 Chewin: I highly suggest yo to change it D:, at least moving the (1) some grid up don't staking it with (5)
15:44 Strawberry: moved (1) to x.208 y.56
15:44 Strawberry: i think it's much better now :p
15:47 Chewin: 01:15:567 (1,2) - orz o3o

Eh eh, the map is cool however:

00:06:588 (1,2) - These are actually on 1/12 ticks (this means that your bpm here is wrong, it should be 175, so that means that other 2 digit BPMs around here are wrong as well. :P ) Took from BakaNA diff.

00:17:983 - This -5 offset seems really fishy to me. Songs arranged in this way almost never have an offset change, usually it's the case of a bad mp3, but this one is fairly good.

These two critical things have been missed sadly, but I don't think this is actually worth another unrank & score reset, because it's right at the start and somewhat easy to compensate for.
Just be sure such things don't get missed again. :3

Just downloaded this map in Beatmap Pack #284.

I am experiencing sound problem while playing this song. The volume suddenly rose out of control at about 42s mark and lasts for about 4s before returning to normal.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem or is it part of the design intention?
