yeah, it's really expensive after all...

But i need to be careful, since my tatacon is atm in a low condition (because of my stupid hitness o.o").
Something that i can't understand, is: If you played a long time Taiko with buttons and starts with the tatacon, you'll already be good enough to play Oni after all xD

Wait, what? Did you hear someone that had this experience or what? Because I really think that I'd suck when I try on the con... Though I have been practicing switching using improvised Taiko-drum-like thingies, lol

I've set my snare drum from a drumkit up like a tatacon and recited all the fun songs. Doesn't seem to hard for me. >_>

On my fist day (when i've got Taiko Wii1) I started with Kantan with the Tatacon ... but i got bored after an half hour and switched up to Muzukashii (I have to unlock Oni first). When the 2nd Taiko wii was released, I played again with the remote, FC most songs below 9 Stars, unlocking as much as possible ...
Since it's getting everything harder, i didn't want to play with the tatacon, since i'll fail maybe.
Started this year again with the Tatacon.... I was able to FC 8 Star Oni songs o_O stucked at least on 9 Star oni songs. 10 Star is impossible for me :( (but not for Yozakura Ura XD)

Maybe I'm just a stupid player or something like this x_x

oh, forgot to mention: before taiko wii 2 was released, i played with the classic controller too

First red point should be 134.00-2190 . After that there'll be quite a lot of fixing for the next red points since those will be screwed up then too.

Ah, I see you've finally taken a liking to that song :P I'll fix it on my next update (should be tomorrow or Monday if I'm busy)

@Mitten: Same here, I've got all 200 crowns on DS2 (but still can't perfect DS1, there's this one stream on Tenjiku that ALWAYS kills me...)

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only that noticed, but Futsuu/Kantan of Lalala Happiness has an HS of less than 1.00. I have no idea how much that is; does someone know the exact HS? I'll post the video comparison later once I rip it

YES. That one. I only cleared it by luck(twice, on Wii1), and then it's off to FC Tenjiku.

I think it's HS 0.8 for Lalala Happiness, correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, finally, can someone find me a YT/Nico (latter preferred) link of the final AMV of Taiko Wii 2, the one with the credits AND DOES NOT HAVE THAT "PRESS + BUTTON TO SKIP" THINGY IN THE UPPER-RIGHT?! I need to get some images from the credits, in particular. Arumi-chan~ ♥♥♥♥

Hehe, I'm one of those people as well. :3

I can full combo most songs up to 9-star, and even full-combo a few 10-stars with the classic controller, even better on Owata. I can pass every single song too.

Actually, I have very few experience with the Tatacon, but even then, I can pass most songs too. I still fail most Tatacon 10-stars though...

Also, in Hello! Halloween, did you really intend that the go-go time glitch be replicated here? Kiai time should start at the previous sequence (4 beats earlier) but in Taiko, the glitch is happening because the go-go time actually starts not on a barline. This glitch still happens pretty often, say, 25%, in Wii2, and 0% if you put in a speed modifier. Same issue with Koibumi2000, which I'm surprised that the glitch still exists, since on no-speed modifier the barlines before the go-go time somehow do not exist, maybe because they're using the old engine to run Koibumi's first part or something...? Also, Koibumi has a much higher chance of this happening, for some odd reason, but again using speed modifiers reduces the chances of the glitch happening to 0%.

This happens with Kitasaitama2000 (not 200) as well. Go-go time (it's GO-GO TIME not KIAI TIME dammit!) would appear 2 bars after what it's supposed to be.

However this is pretty rare. Dunno how that happened lol.

Huh? I wasn't aware of any glitch in that part. So I should put the go-go time 4 beats earlier than in the current map, right?

Lol, notice how you put the kiai later than when the chorus started. WHAT THE HELL, the wikihouse entry also replicated this glitch. The part where the 140BPM starts is where the actual kiai should be.

It's odd since this existed since Koibumi2000, and they still haven't fixed it :|

@PC: Call it Kiai Time for osu!Taiko and go-go time for Taiko, lol.

AH. So THAT's why Kiai always starts late in Koibumi 2000. When I was playing two-player Koibumi, the Kiai starts late for Player 1 but works fine for Player 2. WTF.

It seems to be some conflict with using the old engine or something, but I have no idea why this glitch also exists in Hello! Halloween; putting in a speed modifier fixes this glitch since the barlines suddenly exist lol.

I think this glitch is what makes Koibumi never picked for score battles or something; well at least I've never noticed a tournament that has Koibumi

As long as it includes Kharl's Saitama2000, that pack should totally be made.

Also, I'm on a freaking roll today. Two achievements! First:

I think he made Saitama way before osu!Taiko even existed; the fact that it almost was an authentic TaikOsu makes it eligible for the first ever TaikOsu map ever made.

osu!Taiko never existed back then, and there was actually no idea how to make the hitsounds match the Taiko colors. With this in mind, it must have been destiny that Kharl almost got everything down. He also freaking mapped the most popular Namco Original song of Taiko 13 lol, and I'm not sure about it, but Saitama's popularity has been pretty high ever since it was first created?

Whatever's the case we know that Kharl has made quite an impact on the osu!Taiko community :D

Anyway...

@aqua: no progress on the credits of Wii2 yet? :(

Hey,Saitama's pretty much -the- most symbolic(and most mashup-able) song of TnT-dom.
Oh,and the very first 2000 series song.

So I guess it's popularity is high right from the very start?

@Zekira: I have to admit, if it wasn't for Kharl mapping Saitama and LuigiHann making the Taiko skin, I wouldn't have even come to the site :3 And I really can't find that Wii2 video.....WAIT I found it. Youtube. Perfect, with no skip button.

Yes. 1st Ranked Map = Tenjiku was not TaikOsu ;_;
And that have online-offset :3< indignity ;_;

But here's one guy who can play Kita Saitama2000: Setoh Kaiba.

He can even Full Combo it, wtf?



All he needs is that magic card that summons some sort of gamepad or something as his Taiko controller, then he's off to play Taiko PS2 7 to do this.

B is used for Katsu while A is for Don.

Common pictures here include Wada-Don normal pose, Wada-Katsu normal pose, that wallpaper sized Don face, Wada Inu Normal Pose, Neko to Sakushi (sp?) Normal Pose, and sometimes Wada Jon (sp?) Normal pose, and I cannot find a decent quality of any of these pictures at all! I wanna SB some of these so I'm looking for stuff, but... D: D: D: D: Maybe you have them, or at least know where to get them?

Actually...no,I'm afraid I have no idea how to get those pictures...
there are probably some images of Don and Katsu's face (aka the notes),

Errr what. I kinda saw it coming actually, when I was going for the highest rank. Hell I even finished this challenge way before I unlocked Haya, lol.

There's actually one challenge where it uses the generic 'Taiko Tower' music, but it puts in parts from many 2000s, also in Wii2. I don't remember which one, but I'm pretty sure it's the same section as this Oso Saitama2000
