Hey there Testy ヾ( ´・∀・`)ノ
Just a quick check from me so that you could rank this quicker \:3/
Anyway, since the map has been starred, I'll just mention a few major things and small stuff neating in general :3 Thanks!~
let's do this i was replying to the mods and my chrome crashed ;w; so i'll just say i changed most stuff01:52:687 (6,7,8) - Consider using less of this triplet-ish circles, most beginners usually only uses mouse to play, so clicking while moving the cursors won't be easy to them. Try to use a rhythm like how you did on 02:06:805 (5,6) -, which is a slider + circle combination. Though if you want to keep that, using the triplet circle on the last part should make more sense as the tension of the song is higher there; switch the rhythm of the parts that I mentioned, should be better that way imo[Yurun's]If there's something you didn't understand or if the images and links are messed up, feel free to state so and I'll try my best to explain it better!
[General][Insane]
- Do use an audio leadin of 1500-2000 here as the map starts a bit too immediately here
[Hard]
- 00:00:745 (3) - This jump doesn't played really good imo. Beside the fact that it's still in the very beginning of the song, compared with all the part that's similar with this one (00:01:451 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - for instance) doesn't has any jump this far, thus making the play flow a bit inconsistent. Try to move these notes closer with each other by swapping a few notes' position like this (mind the notes' position). This pattern should played better imo, besides that it fixes the big jump problem, the flow will now become a triangular pattern
- 00:07:098 (1,3) - Blanket these two better? The current overlapped position doesn't looked exactly neat
- 00:09:922 (1) - Dunno but the tail here doesn't looked really nice imo. You can try to either rework the shape of it entirely or you can try to move the slider a bit and shape it up like this I prefer the later but of course the decision's yours :3 Either way, just try to neat this up a little
240,16,9922,6,0,P|256:64|208:136,1,140,2|0,0:0|0:0,0:0:0:0:
79,156,10451,1,0,0:0:0:0:
112,233,10628,2,0,P|204:225|245:276,1,140,2|0,0:0|0:0,0:0:0:0:- 00:30:392 (5) - I don't really see why would this slider should be shaped like this :< It looked a bit off compared to the other neat pattern at 00:28:275 (1,2,3) -, the sharp point doesn't really needed imo. Try this shape instead
- 00:32:157 (4) - Having the downbeat unclickable deosn't played really well imo, especially since it's ended with a finish. Try using this rhtyhm(and also pattern) instead
- 00:35:334 (3,4,5) - The flow here can be made better imo, currently the flow from (2) to (3) is a bit sharp and required a cranky cursor movement to reach. Try swapping a few of the notes to make the flow smoother; 00:35:334 (3) - and also swap (3) and (4) to make the flow
- 00:42:039 (4) - The rhythm is a bit uncomfortable here imo due to the downbeat at 00:42:392 - isn't clickable since it's on the slider's tail. I'd recommend to just use the same antijump flow like you did on the next notes at 00:43:098 (1,2,3) -, just try to make it clickable and it should emphasize the finish better there
- 00:52:275 (3) - Consider using ctrl + g here? The jump here is quite big compared to all other jump on the set imo, and also there isn't something that should be emphasized by a jump this big for this part. The flow should be smoother too with it reversed imo
- 00:54:216 (2) - The finish here isn't really imo, only one finish on 00:53:687 (1) - is already enough, having another finish here is a bit too loud for this part. And also since you used a finish on 00:53:687 (1) -, it would make sense to use another finish too on similar part like this - 01:04:981 (1) - should be fit here. Also consider turning the volume down for the finishes there since there aren't really something on the background music ouo
- 01:00:392 (4,5,1) - Consider using a jump somewhere between these notes? The play is a bit awkward atm due to how 00:59:334 (1,2,3) - is filled with jump whilst (4) and (5) don't. So yeah, try to put a few more distance for (4) and (5) since I'm pretty sure players will expect a jump here :3
- 01:04:981 (1) - The stack on these notes seems to kill the flow imo, since you usually put a jump between parts like this (01:31:863 (5,1) - for instance, and also almost all notes on this part), putting a jump would keep the flow consistent, though moving this slider snapped to DS shouldn't be bad too. Either way, just unstack the slider to make the flow keep going :3
- 02:07:863 (2,3) - The blanket between these two can be made better lol
- 02:07:510 (1,2) - Is the whistle-only hitsound intentional here? According to the previous hitsound pattern, there should be a finish on both head of these two
- 02:07:510 (1,2) - The 2 circles on the tail doesn't looked really neat lol. Try to make the distance between them consistent so it looked neater like this
[Neonat's]
- 00:04:981 (3,4) - Eh the blanket between these two can be made better lol, just move (3) a few grid to down and left, or you could just adjust the tail owo
- 00:06:216 (2,3,4,5,6) - The jump for this pattern is a bit too hard compared to other patterns in this difficulty imo. Consider removing the jump by putting the circles nect to each other instead of using this constant jump star pattern, not to mention that this part does feel calm and similar with the previous rhythm on 00:02:157 (3,4) - where you only use small jump
- 00:09:569 (4) - Consider using ctrl + g here? The flow will become a smoother circular pattern for the whole 00:09:216 (3,4,1) -
- 00:21:922 (4) - Considering that you used a finish on this note for the insane diff, insert a finish here to keep the consistency
- 00:59:863 (3,4,5) - As in 00:06:216 (2,3,4,5,6) - about the jump. The jump here is quite unexpected imo due to how you changed the rhythm that you followed, where you should've followed the piano (like the previous pattern on 00:48:039 (1) - and 00:55:098 (2) -), but you followed the uh guitar-thingy on the background, combined with a rather high jump, which makes the pattern even more unexpected imo :< I'd suggest to just remove the jump here by using ctrl g on both 01:00:745 (4,5) - to make the pattern more readable since changing the whole rhythm would require more work lol. So yeah, consider fixing this one :3
- 01:02:157 (1) - Eh why the sharp shape? It doesn't really emphasize anything on the background and it looked kinda not neat imo, just use a normal smooth trun for this
- 01:06:216 (9) - You forgot to NC here :b and also, consider using a small jump here due to the powerful finish and the SV changed drastically too, so a change in the distance should make it more readable :3
- 01:29:393 (1) - Just saying but I love the volume reduction thingy here, sounds creative! owob
- 01:54:805 (3) - You might want to check this part over for any missed finishes, since it currently has none and felt weird when played due to how loud the previous part is, filled with finishes.
- 02:02:393 (2) - Move this one grid to the right to make a perfect stack with 02:01:158 (7) -
- 01:50:569 (1) - Move this note more to the left since it currently is quite hard to reach it with natural flow, try somewhere around x184/y136
A bit unsure on a few of a rather high jump, but I guess it should be fine lol, and also please mind about the consistency of finishes on the last few parts of the kiai, some place feels like you forgot to add them
- 00:43:451 (6,7,8) - Considering how the previous rhythms are mostly 1/2 beat sliders, this part can be very tricky for beginners, especially how they are not stacked (you used stack on 01:46:334 (4,5) -, which is even easier for this one, even it's on the kiai). So yeah, consider to change these circles to a single slider so the rhythm become like this [box=]
[/box]
- 02:22:075 (4) - eh there's nothing in the background really, just remove this note and also the stack might confuse some beginners so yeah, just remove it
Pretty nice, it was really neat for your first map this is actually mu 37th mapset i think, but my maps were all pretty bad at that time :3 Though you may want to check the hitsounds for every diff to check the consistency since I find a few of the to be off. Anyway, good luck for the ranking, hope it'll get ranked soon! <3 going to use grumd's hitsound copier for everything lol
Chrome screwing up, everything screwing up, don't mind bad formatting.
