- you might wanna look for a 16:9 background cause atm it looks a little awkward in the beginning, before the video starts. cause borders on the side
- video is missing in Normal diff
- I am kinda concerned about the driff spread.. you have a nice Easy, but in comparison to that the Normal seems a little too hard (cause of patterns) and the Hard is too hard as well (imo, espceially looking at the jumps >< ..). and only judging by SR the increase from 1.98 to 3.72.. uuhm. I don't really feel comfortable with that.
looking at these three diffs, I'd suggest to rename Normal to Advanced or something similar and increase the difficulty slightly with more 1/2 rhythms. and then add another standard Normal diff. Would be best for the spead, I think, but all of that is up to you ofcourse ~
- 00:04:642 (5,1) - movement could be smoother (= easier to play), rotate 1 and 00:06:460 (2) - by -45° and place them like this http://puu.sh/eShwh.jpg ?
- 00:07:672 (1,1) - this is too less recovery time for Easy. no object should be on-screen until the spinner isn't visible anymore, cause that's confusing. you can read more about this here: t/241019
> shorten the spinner or remove 00:10:096 (1) - so you have a full measure recovery time, preferably 1500ms - 00:13:949 - gap feels so empty, I'd add a circle here
- 00:20:004 (2,3) - this might confuse beginners, cause when they follow the movement indicated by 2 you end on 3's end instead of the end. ctrl+g 3 and move 00:22:206 (4) - to 28|236 ?
- 00:31:013 (4,1) - movement here could be better, too. you can move 4 up a bit and rotate it, then adjust 1+following to match DS, screen: http://puu.sh/eSicZ.jpg
- 00:38:719 (3) - aah, nitpicking, move the last anchor a grid to the left xD
to avoid confusion I'd prefer if you rotate this by ~ -35°, but that's not a must - 00:43:123 (4) - is this missing a NC?
- 00:51:930 (1,1) - mentioned above, too less recovery time. you could replace the slider or shorten the spinner. replacing the spinner with another long slider would work, too
- 00:59:637 (5,1) - gap feels off, you could follow the background.. Idk what thy're called-sounds. might play more interesting cause variety :3
- 01:04:040 (4) - imo, this should be split. cause of the absolutely unnoticeable break after 01:04:316 - try this:
(if you do that you might want to put a NC somewhere in this combo, it gets a little long, maybe 01:07:343 (3) - ) - 01:11:196 (3,1) - as mentioned, this is confusing because of the movement indicated by 01:09:545 (1,2,3) - . you can rotate 1 to avoid that
- 00:10:921 (1) - cause the downbeat is waaay louder than the sliderstart I'd prefer if you replace this with two circles, or circle + slider on downbeat. http://puu.sh/eSkjj.jpg
same applies to the following sliders then 00:13:123 (2) - 00:15:325 (2) -
- 00:25:508 (1,2) - feels a little off to ignore th white tick cause it's slightly louder than the red ones, consider alternating the rhythm? examples:
( ^ my favourite, cause it's more consistent than the others) - 00:35:967 (3,1,2) - placement of 2 is very confusing for beginners, cause it's visible before 3 is finished > players might accidentally let go of 3 and hit 2 (they don't pay that much attention to reverse arrows when the supposed next object gets that close x: )
so please place 2 differently, example: http://puu.sh/eSlMD.jpg - 00:40:921 (1,2,3,4) - very tricky to read, considering the Easy is super easy you might want to reconider using patterns that are confusing even for some Hard players.
- 00:45:325 (1,1) - iirc the distance from object - spinner should be 1/2 at least for easier difficulties. (better confirm that with some other people, just ask in modhelp or wherever)
same for 01:22:756 (1,1) - ofc - 00:56:334 (1) - downbeat should be clickable, not only is it way louder than the rest, it's also a new sound you can follow. so I'd prefer if you split this into slider + circle
- 01:07:343 (1,2,1) - don't let them overlap, that's super confusing. also, what's with the distance error of 2-1? that's too much of 'variation' for Normal, why don't you just use a copypasta-version of 01:07:343 (1) - , ctrl+g it and place it somewhere on the left?
- 00:07:066 (3,4) - increasing DS for just one object seems a little awkward. '_' what's with all the othes before? the rhythm/volume/speed/pace doesn't change so this should be the same as all the others, imo
- 00:11:196 - downbeat is clearly louder than the other beats but the only one not mapped. you could move 00:11:333 (6) - to here or replace it with a 1/2 slider starting on the downbeat. or two circles..
- 00:20:004 - ^
- 01:11:747 (1,2,3,1) - 3.1+ DS jumps seem a little exaggerated, even if the music is louder than everything in the beginning, it's overdoing it a little, imo
and compared to the following Kiai it's so much harder.. to me the Kiais sounds more exciting and faster paced than the rest of the song, but here the build-up is much harder.. :n
