Hitting my keys realy hard when I feel I can't keep up on streams. Hitting hard when jumping too.
Sometimes tapping to the beat using the two keys at the same time during breaks especialy on songs I realy like.
Readjusting my pen almost every breaks.
I like to spin my cursor everywere in the game and during breaks but on spinner I get slow RPMs.
Almost always lucky 100/50 hit notes after a spinner that seam to be the end of the map.
Checking combo/accuracy/position in MP... while playing and missing.

I tend to daydream/think deeply when I'm playing OSU....
When I'm bored.:P
Thus causing me to lose combo! :O
Or fail the map......
But 95% of the time I don't fail or lose combo~
So-i somehow can play OSU while daydreaming/thinking which is weird......

I tilt my head to the right whenever it gets hard for me, it usualy results in horrible neck pain :c

I wear my headphones even though I play with speakers on most times

I tug my shirt during every break even thought the song might be easy

I can't play unless i sit on my left feel and shake my right.

When playing with AutoPilot, I always press the smoke key on a spinner.

I don't think it's uncommon to start thinking about other stuff in osu!, so instead I'll list my other habit :

I start tilting my head to the left the more I play. It's pretty noticeable. The harder the song, the more the tilt.

I sometimes predict spinners in the middle of nowhere and spin, I also sometimes smash my head on the keyboard when I miss sometimes...

I shake my left foot when I get really into a map.
It's not even to the beat of the song, I just have random foot spasms.
My accuracy always goes up when I do it though.

Isn't really a bad habit but it started happening lately to me....

Forget my pen grip until i warm up, and when im already warm up i want to stop playing for now , then the cycle repeats so my improvement is kinda stuck .

Any time the song decides to play notes to the beat, but you have small little "breaks" in between each note, I decide to do a little swing of the mouse or something.

... which happens to make me miss sometimes.

Same here; I've also developed a habit of flipping the bird (middle finger) on my monitor whenever I'm frustrated and miss a note/fail a song, in a way to release the stress.

the closer i lean to my screen the better my accuracy and speed becomes. sometimes by the end of the beatmap im less than 5 inches away from the screen

Whenever I get really focused, I tend to hunch my back and/or lean to one side. No wonder my chiropractor says I have a bad back :(

I took a drink of Red Bull right before a song started, played the entire thing, then realized I didn't swallow until after the song was over. I literally sat there with Red Bull in my mouth through the entire play and had no idea.

I can't find the bad habit thread now, but if there's a double that's sufficiently fast enough where I think I'll break on singletapping it, I'll just do a triple.

It feels really dirty.

I'll tap my feet to the rhythm and hold down the mouse one button for better aim idk if it actually does or not but generally I cant play without holding down the mouse one button it feels weird.

I play the game while laying down on my side on the top bunk of my bunk bed. kek
I can't play for shit if I try playing while sitting up or in any other environment.

not sure if this is a good habit or not

but i have a rather low stamina

so what happens when I really start getting tired

i kinda just shut off that part of my senses

my eyes are burning but they don't blink at all

my hand is burning but it refuses to stop

my pen is getting really hard to hold but it stays in my hand

my breathing's intense as hell

and it's really freaking scary when that map happens to be a marathon

I constantly change my playstyle, like really, almost to the point that I use a different playstyle for different parts of a song. I can start off tapping z then switch to alternating then switch to x and so on, all in the middle of a song :lol:

I really like to cursor dance near the end of maps I retain full combos on.

Eventually that combo dies as a result.

I have a bad habit of blinking my right eye really hard while playing resulting in me pretty much closing my eyes and losing any combo I have I haven't made any plays at all in the last few weeks cause of it. It's only when I play/watch, think about Osu too so trying to stop thinking about it is hard when it's associated with Osu

I'll never get PP again ;-; (PS If anyone has had anything similar feel free to pm.. save me)

I get this too, except with both of my eyes. Still haven't found a solution.

When I'm playing osu! I have to move my keyboard further then I usually do when I use it because I have small area for mouse (or I just have low DPI maybe). Also I don't even notice changes after increasing sensivity. Slowly making progress to be able to play on mousepad and with usuall keyboard location in future.

If I'm coming off of a slider immediately into a double tap, I usually do K2 for the slider, then K2 K1 for the double tap, instead of doing K1 K2 K1 or K2 K1 K2.

I also cursor dance at slow parts to the point where I end up missing a lot of the time ;~;

idfk if people can even see this considering how old of a thread this is but I saw a few of those who lean their head left in some occasions. I do it and when I notice it and correct it my already bad performance turns even worse - does anyone know the reason for it? Tablet/mouse too far away/tapping fingers in a "bad location"... it annoys me

1.I think while playing a song how am i going to fail this time? A sliderbreak or something..
2. I think 100's are a bit worse than 300 but still good.
3. I think failing or getting 100's or 50's are exceptional on streams,bursts cuz i just cant do them.
4. Sometimes thinking to blame my keyboard for being to slow on the fast bursts/streams even tho i think its my fingers problem that pressing too much my fingers gets frozen in place.
5.Cannot learn from the mistakes i did to fail the x map. ( I mean doing the same mistake )
