offset is 1935? there was a sense of incongruity in Kantan. /*There was no inconsistency o.O

[Kantan]
00:36:220 (37) - move to 00:36:593? /*I'd want to keep simple rhythms here.

[Futsuu]
00:42:928 (74) - remove? /*This beat is strong for vocals, so removing it would feel weird.
01:14:605 (31) - k? /*Change the whole 01:13:863 (28,29,30,31) - for kats

[Muzukashii]
00:26:344 (78) - k? /*Keeping as in the next kats the vocals are more emphasized.
00:28:767 (86) - ^ /*^
00:39:388 - add d? /*That'd make it very similar to Oni, and I want iost different as possible.nt as possible, though I made a few changes based on this
00:41:810 - ^ /*Same
00:42:928 (128) - remove? /*Same as in Futsuu
00:44:605 (134) - k? /*Changed 00:45:354 (136,137) - to kats, I want to kee the d d k d there as it somehow fits better in the whole song even if I mapped mostly on vocals.
00:51:313 - add d? (same as 00:39:388) /*Same
00:53:736 - ^ (same as 00:41:810) /*Same

[Oni]
00:34:543 (155,156) - Ctrl+G? /*I'd prefer to keep this part d kkd kkd as all the dons would cover the same tone.
00:42:928 (183) - remove? /*Same as in other diffs

Good luck!

Thanks for modding!

[General]
  1. remember to remove widescreen support on all diffs
[ Kantan]

  1. 00:36:223 (37) - i suggest you move this note to 00:36:037 - ,it is more fit the drum and music
  2. 00:42:931 (43,44,45,46,47) - this pattern is a bit offbeat to me, try this to follow the drum more precise
  3. 01:06:037 (5,6,7) - move these three notes 1/2 forward,to follow the drum clearly
  4. 01:12:000 (13,14,15) - ^
  5. 01:17:962 (22,23,24) - ^
  6. 01:23:925 (30,31,32) - ^

[ Futsuu]

  1. 01:07:155 (12) - try to remove this note, it sounds more clear to me.
  2. 01:19:081 (43) - ^

[ Muzukashii]

  1. 00:35:851 (110) - remove the finish, the beat on 00:36:037 (111,112,113) - is more powerful than 00:35:851 (110) -
  2. 00:36:969 (114,115) - also try to remove finish, to enhance the power on 00:37:528 (116) -
  3. 01:08:087 (210) - move to 01:08:832 - more fit the drum and vocal
  4. 01:20:012 (258) - ^

[ Oni]

  1. 01:06:969 (292,293,294,295) -how about try this? it can make a consistency with 01:04:733 (279,280,281,282,283,284,285,286) - also make the rhythm more clear
  2. 01:18:987 (355) - remove? same as above, the rhythm would be more clear

  3. 01:06:037 (5,6,7) - move these three notes 1/2 forward,to follow the drum clearly /*Newbies will likely have a hard time figuring the notes not being on the main beat, so I want to keep these ones.

Thanks a lot for modding qoot, had to check my Kantan countless times in that part, did a few modifications more before the kiai, but nothing else.
Also added a small kiai time in the beginning as it looked a bit sad.

rechecked, and everything is fine to me

This has been sitting around for quite awhile

[Oni]
  1. 00:34:919 (157,158,159,160,161) - This play here was a bit awkward and didn't really flow well in regards to the previous pattern. I suggest changing it to dkd ddk. Fit and played much better IMO. Another good alternative would be ddk ddk
[Muzu]
  1. 01:15:913 (240,241,242) - I know you are going for a bit of variety here but I think it would be a better idea to stick with what you had at 01:09:950 (215,216,217) - . Sounds nicer to the music and plays better.
[Futsuu]
  1. 00:49:453 (90) - big d would be nice here, like you did in the muzu and oni
[Kantan]
  1. 00:36:223 (38) - Perhaps it would be better to have it at 00:36:037 - to keep consistency with the rest of your other patterns and rhythms. Also follows the music more closely imo
  2. 01:25:416 (32,1) - tbh this is a bit too close to eachother. When I was a newer player I had struggles figuring out what the sliders were even for, and with a big D at the end I think this will be a hard pattern to have in a Kantan

Thanks for the mod Lust :D

Also increased HP in Kantan to 4 since 3 isn't that challenging, even for newbies.

We changed the bg to 1366x768 (was 1365x768), resnapped all notes, and made some changes to the metadata.

Qualified!

There is no TaikoBAT or any mode-specific BATs anymore.

To answer your question in a way that satisfies the new system, I can mod any game mode but I will not mod anything outside of my playing abilties. DakeDekaane's map here was well within my boundries in terms of what I can play.

As others have stated before, there are no more mode-specific BATs, rather there are people who are more experienced in some areas of the game than others. You can mod any game mode if you so chose, but remember that if you are lacking in experience you always run a higher risk of disqualification.

He's modding Taiko sometimes but probably the first time qualifying in this mode.

Congrats for qualify!

Qualificaiton was fine. Suprised me a bit that it was Lust.
Anyway, really nice mapset DakeDekaane. Lower diffs are not too hard and in general all diffs fit really good to the song itself. Looking at all these monotonically patterns and breaks in Kantan for examples makes me feel good and happy. I like the way you map. Told you before, huh?

Congratulation!

Fun fact, while I can map Kantan really quick, this one took a lot of time for testplaying, remapping and adjusting, due the song having a considerable ammount of strong beats in offbeats, clashing with my style, it was fun to map though.

Thanks everyone for playing and the comments.
