00:21:940 - This note is pretty strange considering that all the similar notes to this like 00:19:013 and 00:16:087 are at the end of a 1/4 cluster but this doesn't, which is probably why you mapped it to a big note here and not the latter two. But if I'm a player I'll be like "Why the hell is this is a big note while the previous patterns which have the exact same melody isn't"

tl;dr make this a small kat for the sake of consistency

Sorry for the short mod but the set is pretty solid as it is now especially the lower difficulties, I really enjoyed playing them!

If you're talking about the "build-up" before the stream from 00:32:550 - to 00:34:928 - being insufficient,, then I'll try and fix that by adding a kat at 00:34:471 - so that there's at least a 5-note cluster right before the long stream to serve as a build-up (This is my current opinion on this (and also on another one of the suggestions below that is similar to this) , but if more people finds it weird and points it out, I'll change it entirely)

Anyway, I'm just gonna give it a try and see if this pattern manages to slide through. If I get sounded for it again, I'll remove it.
(Another reason is also because I really like this pattern /me slapped)

Thanks for the mod cdh, alot of arguable suggestions that you pointed out, and I actually took quite some time to consider most of them. @@

  • I'm going to be very blunt about this difficulty, just keep that in mind.
  1. 00:18:831 (2,1) - Ctrl+G this, this would fit with the higher pitch of the guitar and remove 00:18:922 (3) + change 00:19:013 (1) to a D for a better emphasis on that.
  2. 00:23:495 (3,4,5) - Remove these, there's nothing going to this and would be fine as a triple if not removed entirely.
  3. 00:29:989 (3,1) - Ctrl+G this, this will fit the higher vocal pitch and leave more emphasis on the drums for the last part of this section.
  4. 00:35:111 (2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,2) - This doesn't fit at all. 00:35:202 (3,4,5,2,4,1) - Remove these and it would all fit.
  5. 00:36:574 - 00:48:282 - This could be mapped to the drums instead of the vocals since the drums stick out more. This has fewer notes than a lot of other parts of this map.

I recommend OD6 instead of 5. 6 works well with the density and pace of the map, also because this is an Oni.

00:18:282 (1) - Kat here. Fits nice with the rest of the pattern and changes up the note order by starting a pattern with a Kat. This helps the difficulty be less bland and more interactive.
00:24:135 (1) - Kat here as a follow-up to the previous suggestion. Mainly for consistently, but again serves the same purpose of the previous by changing up the notes positively.
00:36:300 - Add a Kat here to make a triple resembling the drum roll. I noticed you did this later in the map during the kiai and it works very nicely for the overall difficulty of the map. Also introducing this pattern earlier in the map helps the player recognize it in the kiai sections. They will know for sure there are more 1/4 triplets and prepare themselves for it. (This really only applies to sightreads, but it is a good thing to do for the spread of a map)
00:47:916 (2,3) - Change to kkk D. Again for the drum roll in the song. The big Kat is changed to a Don because the flow is much more natural and easier to understand. The reasons I stated in the previous suggestion about the 1/4 triple applies here too.

Other diffs look good. The Oni is very well made and was super fun to play! The Muzukashii also has a great vocal rhythm focus that I personally think makes it enjoyable to play and easier for players just starting on Muzukashii to understand.

Didn't played all maps before, that's why I haven't stated any concerns in my previous post.

[General]

All maps are made really nice. But the density of notes in Futsuu and Muzukashii is pretty high. The maps are mainly mapped in a consecutive way without any breaks, which makes the maps have no emphasis or bigger impact on certain parts. Especially in Muzukashii this is visible, since you map constently with 1/2 on calm, normal and kiai parts. For example at 00:57:062, where the part becomes calmer than previous one. You didn't tune down the density here, even though the song calls for it. I will give you some diff specific examples down below.



Additional to this, I'm concerned about the spread in this set. Futsuu to Muzukashii is quite high, compared to the others:


ND: (Kantan 193) ← 94 → (Futsuu 287) ← 265 → (Muzukashii 552 ) ← 195 → (Oni 747)

I can just repeat myself that the maps are in general really good. The song is also great. Even more does it make me sad to unrank it. lol
But you have to take care of possible spread issues and try to make patterns / stanzas / parts become more emphasized. Else the map becomes monotonically, which scratches on the quality itself.

Everything I said above should be followed and applied to the second half of the beatmap as well. If you don't want to change something, try to have own ideas to fix the spread issue and have more breaks. After you changed it, Modders and BATs should look at it and bubble / rank again.

There's one small thing I noticed while rechecking, and I'm fairly sure I'm right on this.

01:21:087 (6) - This is incorrectly snapped in both the Muzukashii and Oni. The note doesn't hit the 1/3 tick and actually starts on the 1/2 tick at 01:21:026.

02:21:087 (6) - Same as above.

Get back to me once you look at this and I'll rebubble.
