When captains will be notified that their registration was accepted?
Is it going to be on the end of registration period, or just in few days?

I'll go through all registrations once every few days. I haven't started yet tho. I'll send out the first pms soon, but the teams self will be released at the end if the registration phase. I just did not even start sending teams into a pending state, but you guys will all kept updated

Good luck to all participants, and also good luck to all tournament staff again! As a fellow tournament organizer on another game, I know just how much time and effort is required to make sure everything runs smoothly. With 4K and 7K brackets, this will be the biggest tournament yet, so it will require ever more effort than ever before. You guys needs more appreciation for what you do!

Would be nice if first place also "won" a o!m beatmap from a song of their choice. (in the sense that they would pick a song and someone would map them with highest priority).
It kinda feels to me that the staff doesn't put much effort in the prize (there are other nice things beside cash). But then again, I'm just a random player, not sure how these stuff works.

Team Scandinavia (or Fennoscandia I guess) huh, I have this deja vu feeling even though I can't remember if we actually ever had one like that. There have been teams with people from mixed countries before, at least, so I don't see why it wouldn't be okay here as well (as long as it's not abused and would be pretty much limited to countries without enough players).


Too bad I suck so I'm probably not joining (and I'd throw a wild guess Finland has even less o!m players)

Think that was Sound Voltex, even then those songs were selected from a original song contest. Rest of the KAC songs were already in the games, IIDX, Jubeat, DDR, Gitadora and Reflec Beat.

All of our matches are at around 8am but one of our best players lives in Hawaii so it's like around 3am...

TL;DR: Twitch now scans VOD's for copyright infringement in 30-minute blocks(0:00-0:30, 0:30-1:00 etc.), and if it finds any, it mutes the whole 30-minute block. Imports will also be muted. No mention of whether infringements mean bans or not, so you should prepare an alternative stream on a different site just in case.

That was definitely a great day. I guess it's a same for Color or Ono but we really enjoyed streaming/commentating with a lot of good matches.

Why does USA take a map win even though SK's players won by points. Yes one of the SK player was accidentally on USA's team but he's still playing for SK, not USA... Seems pretty ridiculous to me.

SK player didn't really exist, it was a bug with results, you can see that his result is the same as in previous map.

Well, against South Korea, it was quite the battle. We got lucky once when Fal3c somehow dc'ed. -A-' Either way, we owned Indonesia and USA. Though to be honest, I feel kinda bad for USA... :/ I'm serious about that, the song we picked last kinda made me feel bad for them xD

We need harder 4K mappools (map pools? Whatever.)... Hopefully it'll be harder during Round 16 and above. Seriously, I'd like some 4.5+ star maps pls.

God damn, China will meet Korea in the quater finals. If the Round of 16 stages are not Knock Out stages, China has high possibility to beat other teams except Korea and win the second place. Spro and zfloveys are all LR2 Kaidens, and Fate yakumo and also zfloveys are top chinese o2jam players as well. Not to mention innocentfake and he's gonna be back.

I believe the match group division is not completely random and should be redone, or I suggest there should be revival stages. Otherwise it not fair.

But that's how tournaments work basically. Some times drawings are unfair and thee's nothing to be done about it, at least we'll have exciting match soon :P
