ive moved from 4k autoconverts to nonautoconverts and can do 4 and a half stars fine for the most part :D, these songs are so much more enjoyable although causing my membrane keyboard stress as it can only manage 3keys at once :< on a side note need more ranked 4k nonautoconverts~~

Try out different keys and see which ones will let you hold more than 3 keys at once. Really helpful for keyboards that has limited key rollovers.

I'd still play normal maps. Not often will more than 3 keys be pressed causing you to fail a map. Honestly, if you can press, practice and prepare for conversion onto real maps, then you'll be set for when you actually get a good keyboard. Even if you get bad scores, you can't blame it on yourself. As long as you try your best. Also, autoconverts are a terrible way of gaining skill as a player. The more you play normal maps the faster you will become a better player overall

Try that, almost every keyboard has combinations of 6 keys that work together, even the cheapest ones.
