If I'm not mistaken, if this prize pool gets any higher it's the highest prize pool ever in the history of eSports.
Yet again, correct me if I'm wrong, I think 6,000,000$ is already the highest prize pool up until now in eSports.
Let's see though. If the community supports it, it might get bigger than the 2nd highest prize pool that has been reached in eSports so far

On a serious note though, I think with this new stretch goal we have the highest prize pool yet

It's overwhelming that the numbers grow rapidly day by day.

The power of the community shines in this one, lol

These new stretch goals are pretty nice, especially the favorite hero challenge. I'd love to see Spectre or something get a new voice pack as well, despite her being my favorite hero. Wouldn't mind seeing older heroes like Viper, SF or Zeus get new models as well (I swear to god I will shed tears if people vote for Pudge on all of these and valve obliges to it, he gets enough attention already imo). Updated creep models are badly needed too.

Overall these new stretch goals are very nice IMHO.

Personally, I'd start off on heroes like crystal maiden or lion, and support the more experienced players until you can get a good feel for the game. You can also queue up with coaches in this game which is extremely helpful, as they are able to draw on your screen, ping your UI and talk directly to you while you play, great learning tool for new players, feel free to add me if you'd like to try that.

As for the community, yeah, it can be volatile. Your best bet is to just ignore the ragers, and take the productive criticism/advice that nicer players give (they do exist!).
Remco32
I wouldn't recommend squishy maiden for new players.
Lich, Warlock, Lion, Shadow Shaman are quite simple supports.
Navizel
Are there any ways to avoid players who don't want to finish the game? It's really infuriating.

Good point, CM is super squishy and dies a lot. Her skillset and tools are very straight forward though, and you help your team just by skilling up her aura.

but her ulti deals many damages it'll be helpful for clashing and her skill 2 to lock the enemies

Game devs are now working on pairing leavers with other leavers and repeated offenders (reports) with their own type etc.

Sorry, but this is what playing on EU West (or any EU) means. DOTA 2 is the one game that ever makes me racist and it's because of cyka bljat fuc*%( rustard ($§)%"(!/(§!!!!
My tip is to mute them and if possible report. There isn't really much helping I'm afraid :o Or you just play with friends :)

"Get good" is wtf? Remco? So they're supposed to get to 5k MMR in <1 year so they can finally get out of "their own skill level" hell? I'm playing on 5k+ and there's still flamers everywhere, it's just a russian thing.

Essentially Miyu, to join a match with a coach all you have to do is invite whomever you want coaching you, into your party and queue up with them set as a coach (little check box above the party group icons).

I play waaaaay too much dota2 and enjoy coaching and spectating when i can, so as I said earlier, feel free to add me if you ever want and I'll gladly observe some rounds. My steam name = Directive?

Your MMR rating.
Yes, her ulti deals massive damage, but you are slow and have no healthpool so you die without much trouble. And since a new player will be out of position all the time you will probably feed a lot.

Play easy heroes such as Sven, Juggernaut, Dragon Knight, Death Prophet. Once you get the hang of DotA, you can play semi-hard heroes such as Phantom Assasin, Terrorblade, and many others. Just, please, dont play Invoker. Just dont

I meant those who are sitting in front of your fountain waiting for us to respawn because they want to get more kills even though the ancient is so exposed. Never experienced this in LAN Dota 1 with my friends. Sorry for the confusion.

Pinoy players tend to focus alot on kills, same as Russians. But when it comes to games, Filipino's tend to master proficiency and damage rather than the main objective.

True. Some pinoy players only know to scream at teammates heck they don't even know basic wards spots
Sven-_old
in my thought......for those player who roled support and doesn't buy any wards...means they are freaking noob...like i always play in pub match in SEA
- Nevermore -
a good teammate have a best chance to win
all about your teammate and how they win the game not the "ROLE" and "SUPPORT/CARRY/GANKER/SOLO MID.
example of IG they play 3 agi 2 int in tournament but they still win because they make a good team
Why Burning GPM is always 900++ ?
Because A good support and a good teammate make him fat
so if want to win the game just make a good teammate :D i am sure you will win even in solo ranked :D
gretay
i found many pinoys in pub match , i don't play ranked recenty because my friends afraid with my freakin skills (sometimes MVP sometimes the worst) most of them just aim kills (KS) and doesn't even help when i go and say "bobo".....
